Sup ma ppl, so I don't do sauces but this morning on my way from church I "jammed" a very high ranking "cabal" multitude of people where hailing and rallying around him and I waited for almost 20mins before I gathered morale to go and greet and I asked with politeness if he knew the status of the NNPC recruitment, he said and I quote "young girl the process has stalled, I don't even know what the problem is", I was crest fallen and he noticed which brought up other discussions...

Truthfully deep down I knew something was off but refused to believe and to think I deferred important things hoping to make a decision when NNPC gets released *eyes roll*. Somethings I deduced from the conversation are
1) Authorities listen to social media, & there is power in numbers, let's use it wisely preferably Twitter, we can send our message across in polite diplomatic manners.
2) Even as we hope let's move ahead with our plans, msc, overseas, new jobs etc, Nigerian recruitments are generally shady and should mostly be plan Z.

May God bless our respective hustles, and when NNPC APL finally comes may it meet us in better positions, Amen

Well... the fact that he works with a multinational company does not mean he is rich. People know how to easily estimate other people’s earnings and expenses. I understand you need help from your brother but don’t automatically assume that he is rich. He’s just a salary earner my dear. He probably can not afford to take up all this responsibility and that’s why he did not even start.

It’s your parents duty to take care of you all and your brother is only obligated to chip in when he can. Problems of 5-8 people on one persons head is enough for him to run away. If na you nko? You think he doesn’t have expenses for his own family Don’t blame the wife, blame your parents for not carrying out their responsibility adequately. Wife is trying to make sure her kids don’t experience what you people are experiencing.

Does your brother send money to your parents, if he does then he’s trying. Nothing is stopping you from reaching out to him to say hello and visiting him. Your parents can also talk to him to be closer to the family. I think he has run away because he cannot shoulder all the problems and I don’t blame him. He has a wife and kids to care for. If something happens to him tomorrow, after he has spent all his money on your problems. Will you take care of his children and their problems? Are you financially capable?

Whether the wife cooks or she doesn’t is not your business. Your brother did not complain so why did you go to their house to abuse their privacy with gossip? You see why sometimes people prevent others from coming into their home? The wife cannot estrange her husband from his family if he doesn’t want to be estranged.

I cannot depict the reason they will give, if at all they eventually cancelled it, which l am 95% doubt it will occur. The process is very clean starting from advertisement, shortlisting (which involved SBU and CSU ) , Test and interview.

I dont know if the recruitment has been cancelled but from the little information I gathered was that the GMD wants to review the process before making any final conclusion in the recruitment.

Only 3 people in Niger State made the cut off. The rest of the slots are there vacant. FCC will have to force NNPC to lower the bar and recruit others.

Where are the Niger people? Don't say you haven't heard anything about your status.

APL will start dropping from 5th August to 9th August.

Dreamt some hours ago that APL was released and names of successful candidates was announced on NTA.

Name number1. Scored 91%, but was replaced for some "quota related reasons" in the words of the announcer. Other names were called, were all successful , only name i remembered was one Ifeanyi at number3.

When they got to @number5, local man woke up before the name could be called

I and other 6 guys dat graduated from same university, same state and same year were interviewed on 4th, 9am.
6 of us graduated with 2:1, while the 7th guy was an overall best 1st class student from his department.
6 of us all got alert on tue 22/08, wen 4th was massively paid.
The 7th guy( best graduating student of his department) hasn't been paid the TP allowance uptill naw dat i spoke with him.

I'm jst shaking as i'm writing, pls any theorist to extract something meaningful from this piece.

NB: What ever the situation i don't care, what i knw is dat i'm very optimistic of receiving my APL by God grace.
