Kapeter:@ bolded.......................GBOSA!!! These mischievous souls will termed you an enemy and tribal bigot if you refused their juvenile attempt to lord it over you in your own region. They will claim you hate them and envious of their phantom achievements just 'cause you don't want them to pollute your land with their barbaric behaviour and uncouth mannerism. This was the reason why they had the Sardunna killed in their Jan 15th coup simply 'cause the man was looking out for the interest of his people which of course, is inimical to their nefarious ambition and objective in the new nation. Ditto Akintola, who exposed their hegemonic ambition on our region in his 1965 campaign speech to his people. |
immhotep:And wtf is madam Olunloyo? And what does her preference have to do with kicking you impish, greedy, ingrates off our ancesral land? |
Osagyefo98:Meaning you have no answer to the simple questions, he asked you. Okay, we don hear una. Now take a bow and naff off!!! |
tillaman:@ bolded.........that's their stock in trade! Greedy and covetous lot!! Someone mentioned earlier about free education which awo provided for his region which sadly their own leader (Zik) could not afford them in their enclave. They all ran down to the west chanting "one Nigeria" but guess what? Barely a decade later & these guys dare to dominate us in our own region so much so that all our school of higher institutions were VCed by ibos and consequently staffed, too! Even the northerners that were educationally-challenged had a northerner VCing their region's uni. They said it was all based on merit!!! At a time when the yorubas were very educationally competitive ( thanks to Awo's free education) and rumoured that almost every ekiti household holds at least, one Professor! Even my ordinary Ijebu family already had 2 london trained lawyers, a civil Engineer and 2 medical doctors- all alumin of King's & Queen's College. All these transpired in the 1st republic when the ibos were happily asslicking the fulanis backside despite the way the latter killed the former in 1945 and '53. |
tillaman:@bolded............the answer to that is not rocket science, sir! His ilk (unfortunately most of them are), were "classically conditioned" on a cocktail of bold-faced lies and misinformations by their morally-bankrupt, duplictious, cunny, covetous & greedy elders to mask their failure and in the process, heap all their woes on the yoruba-their nemesis. One of them even opined that he prefers the fulanis (despite the way and manner these guy have always loved to slaughter them at the drop of a hat or a koran) to the yorubas "cause, according to the clone, the yorubas are not trustworthy! You will be amazed at the number of "Likes" he got!! |
Ereolamide:Abi o jare!!! Imagine they even possess the temerity to keep wailing an' ballin', over half a century after the act, that the yorubas didn't allow them to impose their rule over them. They call it tribalism. But we all are aware that they wouldn't dare brooch the concept with the northerners probably 'cause they know from experience that the northerners would just be to happy to slaughter them with gusto. Why would an ibo man-president of the first tribal organisation in the country, the Ibo State Union-want to be placed in charge of the affairs of the yorubas-his adversaries? Isn't that in itself, tribalism? As for the election in question, Ojukwu lied as NCNC didn't win it, well not on paper, anyway. So there was no carpet-crossing, just the usual dirty propaganda employed by our ibo brothers to discredit and denigrate us. |
helinues: Be ni o!!! In fact, Nzegouw was a pawn in the ibo grand scheme at power grab. Ditto Ademoyega. |
engrchykae:History of Conflict ke ![]() Do you perchance referring to 1945 when the north slaughter you guys in kano? Or is it the one in 1953 when the same massacred many ibos at Jos? Maybe, you meant the pogrom the north unleashed on the ibos after the revenge coup of July '67? Of course, the east have had a LONG "history of conflict" with the north where the latter had set on the former with ferocious anger but here we are today with ibos investing millions of naira in the same north. |
laudate:Hell No!! Of course not! He "ll just be one of many like him wailing for the next by 5 decades that their new nation would have become the "Japan" of Africa had they been able to relocate all their phantom millions lost as investments in known hostile regions. Of course, every ibo man residling in other regions of Nigeria is a millionaire!!! |
Skyfornia:lol.....Geez, you 're wicked o!!! |
Cosbyrich:Abi o jare!!! The video is still on youtube where the garrulous epitomic chestbeater can be seen & heard pumping his hollow chest, saying how the other side ( the fed. Govt) is going to be surprised by what they are about to receive at the hands of his rag-tag bunch of misfits. He also went further, promising his gullible kinsmen that even the flippin' grass of biafra will join in the fray. However, the slimy mofo couldn't wait for the grass of biafra to join the war before hightailing it off, in the middle of the night-like a thief- with his favourite merc car and a ton weight of suitcases, presumably stuffed with remants of BOB-Bank of biafra- to slay oloshos in Abidjan whilst his hoodwinked "freedom fighters" and emotionally flawed folks are left to their fate.l |
gidgiddy:Ok, so you fought for your freedom, was soundly beaten, lost 3million souls and still remains a slave. In a way, we did fought for our freedom at Ore- would rather stay as a part of Nigeria (with all its imperfection) than became a vassal state to Ojukwu's rag-tag secessionists-cum-landgrabbing forces. |
gidgiddy:Geez! Do you even read the BS , you wrote? Somehow i don't think so! How the hell is it better for you ibos to fight for freedom, lose 3 million souls and still remain "someone's slave? Half a century after the war, you guys still haven't fully recovered from its aftemath, phychologically, economically, culturally, emotionally and yet are still a slave! |
kettykin:Be very careful what you wish for 'cause you might just get it!!! When this war you all are ignorantly and myopically wishing for does happens, how the hell do you think you and your kinsmen are gonne fare in those in those waring regions? For starters, ibos would be persona- no- grata in those regions. Alo all your myriad phantom wealth in those regions will go up in smokeand you lot will have no choice than to carry whatever you can salvage ( a definite enactment of the prelude to the Biafran/civil/oil war) back to your improverished homeland- the same one you miserable souls ran away from to seek a better Social evonomic status (which is obviously unobtainable in your hamlets) among those you just love to hate. Bottomline is, if the Yorubas and the North does go to war, you folks will be the greater losers but i reckon the bile you lot were infested with by your slimy elders wouldn't allow you to see the bigger picture. Kontinue............ |
oyatz:Abi o! Welcome to ibo logic 101......they are ALL saints as they do not like money. Meanwhile, Major Okafor, an inner member of the Jan 15th coup plot (there were 3- Major Ifeajuna and Captain Oji ) had been previously found guilty of dipping his grubby little fingers into the army social fund. |
immhotep:But why the hell are you so desperate to palm your sister onto me? Which part of " not interested" are you finding hard to fathom? At any rate, am a happily married man. |
LZAA:First of all, i never lay with a woman with more hair on her chest than mine. Secondly, only a certified m.o.r.on like your good self would see my post above as an admittance that flatinoes are the main landlords in Lagos. Lastly, i don't even reside in Lagos or nigeria for that matter. Now, run along lil boy |
LZAA:JSTFU you this Olosho! How many times o i have to tell you that i don't have an ibo landlord simply 'cause i own my own house. In fact, I made it a policy of mine never to have an ibo tenant. Now, kindly naff off, you pleb. |
Kapeter:Beni o!!! Right on point but then you gotta cut zik (and his kinsmen) some slack- 'cause it's a generational curse. Yeah, it's absolute truism that ibos NEEDED one Nigeria much more than Nigeria needs the ibos. Now the myopic covetous HUNTER has morph into the PREY! (Wanton) greed and covetousness is a genetic anomaly. |
Nanop1:So it was the British who stopped biafran rag-tag troops at Ore? |
godofuck231:@ bolded.............Abi o jare!!! We may not be able to differentiate between fulanis from Cameroun, Niger republic, Mali, Chad ati bebelo but that not withstanding, a fulani man irespective of his ancestral land, is not that difficult to discern. |
mystic77:Amen IJMN. |
goldust777:You could have fooled us. |
goldust777:Oh well, in that case you gove them your land in Onitsha. Am from the south west and I do not want to see any flippin' ruga anywhere in my homeland. These fulani herdsmen have marched all the way from their region to the middle-belt and southern nigeria, armed to the teeth and like locusts have destroyed everything in their wake. They 've come from their region to destroy our farmlands, dispatching our people to IDP camps, killing some, raping others. They have made our highways unsafe kidnapping us for ransom. In the meanwhile, not a single herdman has been prosecuted. Obviously those of us who have had first hand experience of these fulani herdsmen, purportedly from mali, Niger, Chad as alleged by our fulani president, will certainly not want them settled in our backyards. And rightly so, too. |
goldust777:Of course, you are ! Yimmu No sane southerner will want Ruga is his/her backyard. The sole proponents of Ruga are fulanis. |
bastardmod:And why not? Afterall, you guys have Delta ibo, Northern ibos and lately ibo Lagosian |
kingzizzy:Na who born zik to force the Sardunna into One Nigeria ? In fact, the deal was as long as the Sardunna gets the jltimate power rlse he was not prepated to be one with southern infidels. This was the reason why Dr. Zik willingly went into coalition euith the north only to be seconded to mete Grade II tea cher- the sardunna couldn't give a rat"s a.r.$e about nigeria hence why he sent his monion to lagos whilst he stayed behind to see to the interest of his people. Everyone agreed that if there must be a Nigeria then it will have to regional but no sooner had the ibo seized power through the back door and he assumed he can only rule the rest of us as one single entity. This was after their boys in khaki had snuffed the lives out of those we chose to speak up for us. Now the ibo man wants to look out for my interest. |
kingzizzy:Were we ever One? Hell no! Both Sardunna and Awo were vehemently against one Nigeria except you covetous folks. Zik and his people were the only ones singing the discordant song of "One Nigeria, One Africa. See ibo logic,,,,you went in there and murdered other regional leaders in the middle of the night, not sparing their wives as well then turned round and say we MUST be united ‘cause you guys have finally taken over the govt with guns we purchased for you to protect us from external forces. After killing our fathers, uncles and brothers you want to be in charge of our future. Of course, northerners (most especially) rioted as they have made it known unequivocally that they do not want one Nigeria with you greedy folks but Ironsi went ahead regardless. The north would not promulgate decree 34 as they were against the notion of one united nigeria. The federal govt that fought Ojukwu was headed and controlled by northerners whilst the federal govt that fought Adaka boro was headed and also controlled by the ibos. |
kingzizzy:Of course, there was no killings when your homie was in power......yeye dey smell. When your homeboy unilaterally promulgate the obnoxious and gratuitous unification decree, there was riots in the north whereby many of kinsmen were slaughtered in protest. Ojukwu didn't conceive biafra then o rather he was still a great believer in One nigeria however few months later oncw ironsi has been depatched to the great beyond, viola Ojukwu start seeing visions of biafra. Abeg STFU! If it was okay for the federal govt of (eastern) nigeria to fight adaka boro for declaring secession THEN it ought to equally okay for the same federal govt of (Northern) Nigeria to squash Ojukwu's intransigence. |
kingzizzy:Typical BS from flatinoes. I wonder what he saw when his homie was in power and intent on making the country, one? He didn't declare freedom for his people then and in fact, when adaka boro seeks to balkanize the country, this same pseudo-soothsayer make certain to bring the rebellion down. |
Beremx:Na today fulani herdsmen don dey come south. Anyway, presently they have occupied part of your homeland in Imo state and they refuse to bulge. So what sayest, thou? Am proudly Yoruba and that's all that matters. My religious affiliation is inconsequential to us whilst you on the other hand sounds like an (Ibo) Osu. Are u an osu? |
