danny301: When some of you keep on saying you don't know why the NASS wants Oteh sacked it shows our level of insincerity in this country...... The NASS stated clearly that the Director of SEC is suppose to have 15 years working experience in the financial institution and that Oteh has just 10 years experience and as far as i know nobody has disputed that constructively yet, instead all we hear is people calling the NASS all sorts of names........... Am not for the the NASS per-say neither do i have anything against the person of Oteh but i feel no single individual is worth causing disharmony btw the legislative and the executive arms of govt to the detriment of all Nigerians..... If Oteh is the only problem btw Mr. President and and the NASS then it's a only wise for the later to redeploy her, that's maturity and not weakness, after all i didn't see any special thing happening under Oteh' s leadership in SEC that cannot happen under some else.Yea, u are right. Thats d ONLY tin they hv ova her; and Yea, d law shld be follow strictos always. But plz say, who approvd Oteh's appointment in d 1st place? Was it not d same NA? How come they just realisd d law said 15yrs instead of 10 when they made d Confirmation in d 1st place and oh, afta Oteh 'arrogantly' exposd 2 of its membas as corrupt?.... You go figure... |
naptu2: Hmph! We seem to be going down the wrong road again. This isn't about comparison. It's about what works best for everyone and what is the best practice and how we can curb abuse of the system.Oh! So, we shld not make any comparison NOW? We shldn't mk comparison wit how d Security agencies of oda Presidents/Heads of State including 4rm d 'developd' world handle matas like dis NOR shld we mk comparison wit hw oda former Nigerian presidents also handled it? We shld only focus on GEJ, right? Cud it be cos d comparison wud show that most of these oda leadas did almost same tin that u guys are accussing GEJ of. Oh! I forgot, that wudnt rili mata cos the real reason of dis thread is to bash GEJ anyway- so no need for comparisons.... I can see hw dat is Fair and hw it is 'the best for everybody'!!..... |
Gbawe: No. You should get your facts right before sycophantically defending one of the most callously wasteful President in the World who heads a Nation home to some of the most poverty-stricken worldwide. All of you holding brief for this wasteful President, a throwback to the dark days of wanton profligacy, simply have no shame. Jonathan's profligate mien is not at all consonant with his status as President of a Nation were it is claimed that many live on less than a dollar a day. Some of you should speak the truth and shame the devil sometimes. If i said now that u are a PROPAGANDISTS u go start to dey boil again.. The guy made specific points on d fact that d Security agencies protecting d US and UK presidents/prime ministers also block d roads and airspace when eva they move, and you chose to talk about smthing else- 'cost of governance'.... Oh by d way, that STUNT Cameron pulld, our own Obj had once done so; u go figure... |
oyb: See me thinking I would see pix of workmen clearing bushesPlz, why are u angry? Why d tin dey PAIN u like dis na?...smone here just said here that '..this level (kind) of negativity is DIABOLICAL' aka signs of witchcraft..*nodsinagreement* |
Yomieluv: Seems these people are kind of in a cult, they can't probe each other at all.Why shld she be in prison?.... Smtimes, i just dont know what to say to sm of u!! |
afam4eva: What's really the problem the reps have with this woman. Is it because she exposed Hembe?YEA....and the manner she exposd him. Hv u seen d video? |
ypzilanti: Kudos for the rehabilitation of Lagos-Kano. You are fully aware that it was also a government that BUILT the tracks, right?Piece of Advice: learn hw to keep yr mouth SHUT at times........ East-West Road 'abandond', right? |
taharqa: @OP, piece of advice: if you do not want yr azzz beaten so thoroughly u wud wish u weren't seeing 'those' beautiful stars Or u do not want a bullet lodged at d back of yr neck, THEN STEER CLEAR OF ALL ROUTES THE PRESIDENT WUD BE TAKEN TODAY. I hear from a very reliable 'source' that his Security details tk his safety very seriously, and that they wud rather gladly 'apologize' to you than to d nation (if u know what i mean). They DONT miss, and am mighty glad bout that... Merry xmas |

The two Suicide Bombers FAILED. They didnt destroy the Exchange Centers of the two Teleco cops; only both of them were killed, and just one person was injured.... THEY FAILED.... |
danny301: May be you just woke up from sleep or you are just playing to the gallery...... I found it strange that you are asking of which budget has a component of 14 billion for the vp's resisdence....... I do not know how to begin to answer you because that the contract of the vp's residence was included in the budget was not in doubt either by the presidency or anybody for that matter.... The bone of contention here is that the 9 billion has been added to the original 7 billion that was earmarked for the project in 2009 and the senate feels the 9 billion is too prodigious, so i don't what is hard for you to understand here.Plz the next time you intend making ASSERTIONS in public (and responding to my comments especially), try to be a little sure of what you are saying; even if just a little, K? |
henrysam: You are wrong brother on this issue, this is how it is. 7b was approved during yaradua's tenure as president for the construction of vp house, the money was budgeted for. When senate committee on Federal capital territory was performing their oversight function they found out that the project have not been completed. Smart Adeyemi asked the minister why it has not been completed the minister had to. Beckoned to the FCDA secretary and then announced another 9b will be needed to complete the project because they need to put funiture, security and other things. That was when Smart raised alarm. This is the real story I don't know what concerns Gej on this issue. But they say unesy lies the head that wears the crown. For those people who didnt answer my questions since pg1, READ this comment and know WHY you COULDN'T give an answer to the question.... |
0lumide: NOO!! GEJ is scared of a coup!WAKE UP Guy..day don break since..... |
demmy: I don't know why you're giving kudos to GEJ for "restoring rail transport". GEJ restored nothing. This project was awarded by OBJ and then canceled and reawarded by Yar'Adua.Obj awarded it (the way sm odas b4 him also awarded it and faild to deliver) and was cancelld. Yar'adua re-awarded in 2009 and died aftaways leaving d entire project and most of its funding to GEJ who DID it...... You must be a clown my guy; try harder nx time.. |
F00l, tell me who's paying the t-fares...
Hehehehe...i mean i always knew u were a dedicatd goon but didnt know u were dis DENSE!! Who is paying d t-fares? U've gat to be kidding me *laughing*.... Aregbe might just hv paid a group of wheelbarrow pushers t-fare to tk ppl 4rm Lag to Osun, lol.... Good job Aregbe, though |
See dis mumu oooo...... Always trying to associate ur inept leader with Good news. Now it is GEJ's transformation, but when people try to steal under the guise of building a house for Sambo, you are quick to point at the ministries... You are a terrible hypocrite....
I think you and d oda ACN goons are d HYPOCRITES here.... I thought u guys said dat GEJ is 'clueless' and is not doing anything? How come u guys are now SUBTLY passing d provision of free rides on 'HIS TRAINS' by Osun state as sm sort of 'achievement' by Aregbe? 'Omoluabi' trains my azzz... I wish d commuters safe journey joor |
chiefarian47: GEJ and the woman in the ministry of finace approved these huge amount of money to build Sambo's residence and this is aThis is d last time i will ask this.. Plz i wud like to know where u got d info dat GEJ and Okonjo APPROVD #14billion for d VP's residence? |
danny301: Is something wrong with your brain?.... If the President does does not much about the 16 billion Sambo's residence as you as saying who then submitted the budget to the National Assembly? If the president could claim to be unaware of the details of the vice president's residence amounting to whopping sum of 16 billion naira then he can as well deny knowing something about the entire budget one day.Which budget did 'they' submit? Which budget in recent Nigerian history has a component of #14billion for d VP's house? Am not aware of it and i hv seen pretty much all of d budgets..can anybody answer me plz. I want to learn, lol....... I cant contribute properly till smone provides dis info (which shldnt be hard cos many of u guys hv bn Asserting it); though i can say for now like i hv always maintaind here dat spending #14billion is exobitant and insensitive |
sanusi muslim: I don't have any thing to say again but what I believe is that both Mr Gej,the senate and Mr sambo are all foolish and basterd people of nigerian. I believe if Yaradua is alife he would never tolerate this kind of corruption and selfishness people calling them self our leaders. Olori buruku ni gbogbo won. God will punished themIt was Yar'adua that approvd d initial #7billion naira contract in 2009 in d 1st instance.. |
ypzilanti: It seems that the chief executive position in Nigeria (the Presidency) is the only job in the world where you can sign for money and claim not to know about it later? How did u know that d President signd this particular REQUEST? |
onatisi: i think you are wrong in this area, the fg prepares the budgets ,the presidents present the budget to the senate and reps for debate and approval , it is after this the amended budget proposal is not sent back to the president to sign which then makes it legal , so gej must have had time to deliberate about this 16billion naira project for his vp.what must have happened was that they wold have thought that Nigerians wont react the way they are reactingplz which budget is dis in? When did all these happen? |
alj harem: can you be more intelligentYou are still foooling around guy! You said d requestd #9billion was in d budget, so GEJ knew about it, right? Am asking u to tell me which of d budgets it is in? 2012 or 2013? Plz be specific; i dont need u to show me what u consider to be oda areas in d budget.. |
IYA NGBALI: pls stop covering up what is not coverable,he is the president for crying out loud and if you do not know, the bulk stops on his table,I hope you know what that means?Covering what? I hvn't said anytin; i only askd a questn...now plz which budget is d said additional #9billion in? I honestly dont know dis, but d info wud help in dis discuss.. |
alj harem: yes it is in the NATIONAL BUDGET and that is for furnituresWhich of d National budgets plz? |
Sincere 9gerian: Since 1999? Despite the fact that Jakande actually started the this project in early 80's? Even the Abuja-Kaduna standard guage rail line(a far bigger project) started by the FG in 2009/10 is nearing 50% completion. What do Lagos state govt do with their funds of nearly N30billion monthly? I dont just get it. Where is the power plant that Tinubu claimed he was building in his tenure? Pls some of us who do not reside in Lagos need clarification.Actuali d Abuja-Kaduna Standard guage constructn startd in ernest Feb 2011, and yes it is nearing 50% completion. Great stuff...... Kudos too to Fashola on dis particular project; hope he completes it as soon as possible. It wud be a great development for Lagos when complete |
koruji: Cover your face in shame! Is d said #9billion REQUEST in d budget? |
DaVinChiSam: Abeg I deY pack go Kebbi make I go start my bleeping campaign for therelol...na shoot dem go shoot u badz guy |
coded guy: How old are you? Have you finished secondary sch? Let me agree you shortened liquified petroleum gas to liquified gas. I purposely emphasized on the PETROLEUM which u left out of your definition of LPG to make you realise that the word petroleum in the meaning of LPG makes the connection between refineries and LPG possible. Yet you did not get it.*smh*... You think LPG is only gotten from Refining Crude oil right? How many cops use Refinery process to get their LPG nowadays? What volume would intend to get if they solely relied on it as just a distillation component of the Refinery process? Do you think the LPG gotten in Nigeria is gotten from the Refinery? Many questions, ehmm? Now, have you ever heard of Gathering, Processing and Compressing natural gas (either associated or not)? Do you know that tis fro many technical and economic/scale reasons is by far the preferred choice nowadays for obtaining LPG, esp in the Nigerian environment? Amazing that you mention 'gas flaring' (i suppose you meant gathering the gas that would have been flared) and linked it to Refining? That shows how much u know about this!! |
