la furia: Pleaseeeeee, jeopardising what, tell me, did the subsidy scam jeopardize the government? Look nothing will shake this government even if it is a trillion dollars corruption.Which Govt told you that $12bn was missing? In fact, who eva said that? Did Sanusi himself even say that?.... Plz, learn to seperate the little voices playing in yr own head from what others may hv said or not |
OAM4J: Ok, he erred, its only abt $12b that was not properly accounted for. Since its not 50 but only 12, I guess the amount is no longer significant and we dont need to appreciate him again. In fact he should be jailed for being a 50b alarmist instead of a mere 12b informant. Right?Oh! SHUT it. The $10.4bn or $12bn is 'not missing': those where d very words of Sanusi himself at that Press Conference. The sum has not been Reconciled as at the time of d Press Conference; and it was not a new Sanusi 'discovery' either. NNPC and FAAC were already having disagreements on d substantial parts of d said fund, with NNPC insisting parts of it were used to pay its own share of d Oil subsidy, that sm parts of it were used in its Crude oil swaps deal, etc. This is exactly why that 'letter' from Sanusi was Sillly and Suspent- most of his phantom $50bn 'missing' funds were already paid into same CBN by oda Agencies whose duties it was to make those payments ie the FIRS and DPR, whilst d 'remaining' $10.8bn was already known b4 Sanusi raised it. How d helll didn't Sanusi d diff Organisations that were supposed to remit monies of crude oil sales? Or, did he reali not know?? ... Anyways they- NNPC, CBN, MOF, FIRS, DPR, AGF- are Reconciling these Accounts, and we can only pass meaningful judgements when that process is ova; one wud not be surprised though if NNPC cannot account for parts of d 'remaining' sum cos that Organisation is one of d most murky in 9ja |
ilugunboy: PAAR is useless...What does a loud-mouthed OLODO like you know, Bros?? |
Do we have to scream before these people know that they have to do there job ? The president should be ashamed of him self for not putting in place a well trained and proactive police force in place. So every body has to call mr president before you get justice?
SHUT ya ffucking mouth tha, CLOWN. There are certain cases/issues that Presidents usuali show sm concern in cos they are matas of Intense Public interest. It happens all d time in d US. For Eg, when Obama took an almost personal interest in d Trevor Martin case..... This is a case of a Foreigner allegedly beating and kicking a pregnant Nigerian staff in the stomach, leading to d death of her baby. As a case of murder and work place Servitude which is said to be widespread amongst Cops owned by certain class of Foreigners (esp Lebanese, Chinese, Indians)- so a mata of Intense Public Interest, d Personal interest and intervention of d President himself is timely and shld be commended by every Sane Nigerian regardless of lingering persuations, cos it might lead to a very desired change on an issue that is becoming extremely important for d Pride and Safety of Nigerians. |
OLODOS, it is d same Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Ondo, not Lagos. The Article only said that d pipelines that wud feed d Complex wud pass through/laid off d coast of Lagos... |
Good thread. Subscribing..... I always hate it when I hear sm IGNORAMUSES say that Nigeria Roads, and even general Infrastructure, is not improving or even deteriorating (imagine that!), when d opposite is d case. The Rate may be 'slower' than most of us want to see and there surely is still continuous work that needs doing, YET improved/improving they have/are in d last few years... |
ilugunboy: How can you save a dead party in the SW....Reali? And that's why in d only Election held in a SW State since 2011 in Ondo, PDP came a close 2nd to Labour Party, whilst APC, that according to you 'd people of d SW hv chosen' came a distant 3rd ('Okpoo').... Keep Deceiving yrself, and Watch.. |
adadadon: All this pictures Na washYou honestly seem very very fooolish, guy; .... Plz, read what you just wrote above, if it makes any sense to you |
payless: Your name reminds me of one Al-Qaeda member we have been looking forOLODO, google d name. 'Taharqa' was one of Egypt's Greatest Pharaohs and builders; d most prominent member of d Nubian 25th Dynasty... Dem no teach you history for d night skul wey you attend, shee?? OLODO *2 |
Just 31 cars to PDP members? Zamfara Gov, tru his broda, distributed 1000 cars to Zamfara APC members na.... Oya tell us another stori joor. Na today; our 'leaders' are ............ |
shymexx: I can authoritatively tell you that this darn airport is definitely one of the worst ever and it stinks. You who have never entered Nigeria know d State of this Airport, LOCATED IN NIGERIA, beta than those of us IN Nigeria who use it, abi??..... Go and play with d Kids in d Projects in tha Slums of London where ya live, and quit trying to poke ya mouth into tins you know nothing about |
Wheneva these CLOWNS start attacking an individual, it is either that individual is Performing very excellently Or the individual is putting hot fire on their azzes... Sincere 9jerian must be doing a yeoman's job lately. Guy, abeg continue o. More FIRE, abeg. |
Very Good.... |
Interesting article.... I wud also love to hear d RSG's side sha |
phrancys001: Am a bonfide kogite and i can categorically confirm that PDP in kogi state is complete failure at the deepest pit, development is at the zeroest level which is evidenced for all to see in kogi state, imagine a state endorsing jonathan when zero allocation was allocated to ajaokuta steel company the only visible FG presence in kogi state. So Ajaokuta Steel Cop is d 'only visible FG presence in Kogi State'?? Reali?... Sm of u chaps need to hv d nolts in ya head re-screwed |
otokx: The PDP laptop dogs should be taking for a fresher course in London with a stop over at Frankfurt then they will understand what an Airport should look like and the quality of service that should be delivered.SHUT UP ya mouth tha, my frnd. @otoxk, hv you ever left that yr struggling computer business centre in Uniport b4?? Here, you are asking odas to 'go checkout London and Frankfurt'. U don pass PH and yr village b4..... You CLOWNS are shooting yrselves in the leg by comments like this; you make it so easy for sm persons to tag you guys as the Pathetic HATERS you are. How can any sane person talk about 'low quality', when we all can see d works on d Pics the @OP posted on Page1. Can you hv better quality than what we see on those Pics? Abi, were d Pics photoshopped? Na d new tori bi dat?? |
phantonce: u are pushing me to the fence.av u even ever been to the airport.I hv quoted you again. What are going to do, CLOWN... |
It is quite shameful that on the verge of entering the year 2014, Nigerians are celebrating the upgrade of an Aerodrome as a major Presidential accomplishment. it is equally shameful for so-called enlightened Nigerians to continue to do the same with Highway construction. You people want to remain in the dark ages, apparently, else you'd demand more than these petty accomplisments from your President. I hope the President will come up with big and great ideas in 2014 and truly give us genuine wins, and things to truly celebrate.
'Ndu-chuks', abeg SHUT it, Ok?? |
Whilst I agree with the reasoning behind your comments, however, you also recognize that it is also a legitimate expectation that as a citizen you are here to help fill this void by sponsoring a citizens bill in the state house if assembly so that this FOI can be domesticated. Fashola has always being known to have some concerns on the manner, and nature of the FOI not because He is against accountability, rather in my own opinion, I think He sees it from the prism of law as a bill not thoroughly thought out with several weaknesses that could cause the nation much problems security wise.
Can Smone shld tell this CLOWN to SHUT d helll up??.... The FOI was passed in 2010, this is end 2013; what is still keeping Fashola and oda APC Govs from sending their own version of d FOI to their rubberstamp State Assemblies for d necessary 'domestication' and subsequent passage to law, so that their State Citizens wud be able to freely demand info from d States and hold their Govts to account. Do you reali need a Citizen to do so like this HYPOCRITE suggests, If d State Govs, like Fashola, are reali interested in Transparency and Openess in Governance... All these just makes a point even much clearer: Politicians like GEJ are rare in Nigeria. It took GEJ Personal promise and a fulfilment of same to hv d FOI passed and signed in Nigeria (the ONLY President who hv agreed to so do since b4 Independence); the States wud refuse to pass d FOI and open themselves to public scrutiny, same way they all (without Exception) hv continued to rig their LG Elections they way it always hv been... |
ImperialYoruba: Just because a State is not a party to FOI rule does not mean it is absolved of need for accountability. There are other routes to obtaining documents from government outside of FOI.Can you SHUT ya mouth, plz..... |
phantonce: dnt ever in ur life call me a liar.I dnt take kindly to insults.lol... ODE. What d helll are you going to do. You are a Bladdi LIAR. That is FACT; nobi Insults. |
phantonce: I say kudos to whoever the kudos is ought to be given to.Hehehehe.... Bladdi LIAR |
Kairoseki77: Yes, building. It will be completed in 2015.Cud you plz keep yr mouth SHUT and stop making a foool of yrself, already. It is no longa funny.... |
Let me just say that to be fair to Tambuwal here, NOWHERE in this article did he say that d 'FG sponsors crude oil theft'. That lie came from d smelly Anuses of d blog-newspaper (which I hvn't heard about b4 today) and the Crazzi OP of course..... So I wud not direct any invectives towards Tambuwal for now?? |
By d way @Roseike, thanks for d beaurifu Pishures. Can I 'steal' sm of them ?? |
Obiagelli: good job, will I vote him 2015? No, Why? A better leader built that Airport.President Jonathan has done/is doing more work in d Aviation than any Single Nigerian Leader, in as such a short time. #FACT.... If you disagree, prove me wrong with one name and be ready to stand by it |
Kairoseki77: Stop fixating on Buhari when you know that the LASG has built an airport under Tinubu.Which Airport bi dat, Bros?? |
Obiagelli: you see your village sense again, the budget went through the presidency (all appointed by the president) then he decided to present a flawed budget to us. That means he didn't do his job. Did I vote the minister? or what are you talking about. Imagine Obama presenting fraudulent errors in his Obamacare or budget. There was actuali errors with Obamacare. That's exactly why there were problems in its implementation recently, website related errors even. OLODO... |
PT only recently multiplied d average bpd of crude PRODUCED in Nigeria with the average price of Crude Oil of a barrel per day for 365 days, Subtracted it from d amount of money the Govt received from d Sales AND declared d Resulting Difference (which was bw #3-#4trillion) as 'missing', 'stolen' by d FG. Imagine that!! And this was just about 2 weeks ago.... I can't undastad why people can come to judgement on this so quickly when it is so obvious from d article, that lots of details are missing here; details that PT didn't bother (maybe, deliberately) to find out or share in the article |
plaindealer: What details are you waiting for? That the daylight robbery is not in the budget or your are just waiting for OKu Igbe or abati `s version and spin??I do not regard PremiumTimes as a Credible Source, nor do I bliv their stories without sm level of collaboration from other sources.... Asking for details, esp from d MOFA, MOF and d Budget Office is d minimum, bliv me |
OAM4J: Of course corruption affects everything including the capital, recurrent expenditures and the ratios. Downplaying the effect of corruption has been one of the major wrongs of this current government. What is this one talking about?? |
joker5180: you need not to sack anybody. The previous government in kano state was spending 60-70% on recurrent expenditure, kwankwaso didn't sack anybody in fact he employed more. Tackle corruption in the civil service and that sum will surely go down, MDAs are just diverting funds to recurrent expenditure to find an easy way of looting. You do not know what you are talking about, guy. Plz Shut it and read... |
