Sincere 9gerian: The second Niger Bridge will be built by Julius Berger thru PPP. Federal govt will pay a certain percentage of the total cost of executing the project, while Julius Berger along with its partners will pay the rest.

Already, N12billion was provided in the 2013 budget, thru the SURE-P, to take care of the federal govt counterpart funding for the bridge

If the GGT isn't a scam, how will a team led by a top government official and selected journalists have a balanced independent assessment of on-going and completed projects when it is the responsibility of the host governor to cater for their needs during their stay?

How will a team who have no control over which projects to inspect and which not to, have an elaborate and qualitative assessment of all projects(especially abandoned projects) when they are on a guided tour? What are the indices for rating the performance of each states? Does the team take into consideration the cost of each project? Does it rate the performances according to the revenue that accrue to each states? If the saying of he who pays the piper dictates the tune applies here, is it possible to underscore a well receptive host governor? In a federation, isn't it unconstitutional for the FG to supervise how states use their allocations? State governors like Orji and Uduaghan that are mostly touted as the least performing governors were commended by the GGT, doesn't that smell of politics and partiality? The bone of contemption is not the legality of whether jonathan can contest again or not. it is about the fact that if truely he agreed to such terms as regards their internal party issue then it is only right for him to give the chance to other members "in the party" to contest come 2015 in line with the agreement, Then he can then go to any other party he likes where he is not bound by such agreement and exercise is constitutional right. But u and i know he wouldnt and would rather choose to void the authenticity of such agreement(if truely made) using legallity as provided by the constitution, since he believe s he has a better chance of winning under the PDP platform.

I have not said he shouldn't honour the agreement, I only brought in the constitutional angle because I know he lacks moral integrity. You don't expect one whom honesty and trustworthiness are alien words, to comply with an agreement that is not legally binding!
