Standing5: If PDP had a strong overbearing ideology and direction for Nigeria, i believe by now it should have overridden the various regional interest. That's why we need a strong party that can put aside ethnic and regional interest to move Nigeria in one direction for all to see. All i see is the love of our commonwealth and that's why i am not surprised by the length of time it takes to make decisions concerning our oil industry.

Billyonaire: We all should learn not to give another chance to people that annulled June 12, killed Abiola, lead too many coups, provide nothing but own our oil wells, people who think that Aso rock is their birth right. Lets proof them wrong. They started Boko Haram and we are now looked at as terrorists when we travel abroad. Lets be sensible.
Some of us have had enough of all these worn out innuendos, clannish sentiments, politics of hatred and murky campaign of calumny you are trying to sell to us! Better luck next time!

Politics › Re: Disgruntled Politicians Want Igbo Presidency - PDP by takedat(m): 5:45pm On Mar 03, 2013
Igbos have no reason to complain since we already have an Ebele Azikwe as president!

PDP is nothing but a party of confusionists and a bundle of deceit. So rotational presidency and zoning of political offices has been jettisoned in order to suit the selfish interest of the president, even when the party is yet to hold its convention or its constitution amended! Is that internal democracy at work, or should we assume the motormouth, mouthpiece of the party just gave his own opinion! Hope the party can truly push for meritocracy, as against their norm of mediocrity!

Politics › Re: "Let The Glory Of Nigeria Be Restored In His (GEJ) Time"- Pastor E. Adeboye by takedat(m):
Wadeoye: Man use your brain for once. It is not your prayers or wish that will make a corrupt and incompetent president perform.

Even a competent president has to work for success - you dont just sit down manipulating things and at the same time talking about moving the country to a greater height. The Adeboyes are fast loosing their sense of decency because of money which anyway is the primary purpose of setting up their churches.

Can you tell me who advised GEJ to appoint Anenih as NPA chairman and later force the same man on PDP as BOT chairman?

Can you also tell who asked GEJ to scrap Ribadu's report?

How come a man who stole 27B received 750k fine under GEJ?

Some people are just hopeless human beings. You sit down there talking lazily about prayers and the man you are praying for is hell bent on pursuing shelfish and not-well-thought-through objectives.
Hogwash! Having dyslexia does not mean you should be stu-pid. If you have comprehension problem why not seek medical attention instead of advertising how retarrded you are on a public forum! Didn't you read where I wrote "I believe more in pragmatic solutions, cos prayers alone will not deliver Nigeria from the sludge! Faith without action is vanity!" Attention seeking whor€, furious because I said "Amen" that Nigeria should be restored! I am also a critic of the president but I do not hate him and always wish him the best! Slow witted buffoon!
Politics › Re: Why The Igbos Should Vote Goodluck Jonathan Come 2015 by takedat(m): 3:55pm On Mar 03, 2013
When the criminal elites from the north, SE and other parts of the country unite in trans-ethnic and inter-ethnic looting spree, we do not hear of one region hating the other.

When the likes of Nzeribe, Authur Eze's, Iwuanyawu's and others who benefited tremendously from their association with the northerners were receiving trade concessions and oil blocs, the Northerners did not hate Igbos then! The truth is, the criminal elites from every part of the country hates their poor brethren. Poverty in Nigeria knows no frontier.

What did the SW benefit from OBJ, with the over 30years of northern rule in Nigeria, poverty is king up north and what has the SS benefited from GEJ apart of enriching crooks in the name of amnesty! Say no to tribal bigotry!

Politics › Re: 2015: PDP Leaders Move To Dump Sambo by takedat(m):
Ko kan aiye mehn! Dumping a bog-standard mediocre and replacing him with any of the run-of-the-mill, stereotyped northern governors shows the politics of mediocrity and desperation in PDP!

On PDP capturing the SW especially Osun and Ekiti states, they've got a snowballs chance in hell!
Politics › Re: Nigeria Lacks Good Leaders – OBJ by takedat(m):
Its an insult to one's intelligence hearing OBJ talk with vigour and enthusiasm on our lack of good leadership. It shows how treacherous and perfidious he is. Nigeria is paying a price continuously for the hijack of political space by common thugs, thieves, poker-faced con men and mediocre men and women, who are horrible in their quest to amass wealth as much as they can without regard for the nation, all orchestrated by OBJ's brand of do or die politics! Not minding the messenger, its an obvious truth that we are lacking in good leadership. All we have now are leaders who lack vision, men and women who cannot motivate performance or create sustainable value!

thelastPope: You mean like the way Tinubu benefitted when he visited Aso Villa 3 days to the last presidential election to collect egunje or the way Tinubu and Fashola were scrambling to buy the Eko and Ikeja power DISCOs? Or the way Tinubu through his brother proxy has been eating fuel subsidy money? It is amazing how you think it is this innocent poster that is benefitting from PDP!
So you do agree that GEJ is profligate and corrupt, spreading around public funds to pacify, would be election spoilers! Can't wait to see the drain on public funds, ahead of the 2015 election! The bankruptcy of the nation's wealth lies ahead!

Politics › Re: Babangida’s Endorsement Of APC Rattles PDP by takedat(m):
gratiaeo: Nigeria as of today has no alternative to GEJ. just my opinion! You are entitle to your opinion
APC is a composition of old cargos
Its wrong of you to say Nigerians do not have an alternative to GEJ, in a country where we have men of flawless vision, proven leadership skills and immaculate characters. If our only option is to vote for a corrupt man of dishonourable character and putrified integrity, not only are we doomed as a nation, it also shows the folly of 170million men and women!
Politics › Re: Babangida’s Endorsement Of APC Rattles PDP by takedat(m):
gratiaeo: If truly people like IBB, OBJ and others will join APC it means the restructuring of PDP ll kick start... Am not against opposition party but i don't see bright future in APC, all Nigerian politicians are the same... GEJ is not a bad guy even though i did not vote 4 him in 2011 but since we have not got that messiah in Opposition party let make thou with what we have
Well, in all sincerity, I do not believe the movers of the new party will welcome the likes of IBB and OBJ. IBB does not have a political support base except he is willing to spread around part of his loot and he doesn't measure up to Buhari, up north. OBJ would rather play a neutral spoiler than align himself with the likes of Tinubu and Buhari. I believe IBB is only trying to gain relevance after much period in obscurity so we should pay him no mind! Though the truth is, no party anywhere in the world is made of saints or perfectionists, you will always find some rotten eggs amongst them!

*******den don de go, 1 by 1********
Yes, PDP is trying to ostracise the rogues of yesterday, and also creating a new formidable criminal elites who will control the politics and economy of the nation! It is the restructuring of the old brigade of lightfingered party members to a new bunch of plunderers!
Politics › Re: Babangida’s Endorsement Of APC Rattles PDP by takedat(m): 10:11pm On Mar 02, 2013
gratiaeo: My guy, all of them including my brother Achike Udenwa
What do you have to say of the president, who in his pusillanity and disservice to the people of Nigeria handpicked an Anenih to be the chairman of PDP's Board of Thieves(BOT), one of those who looted the country into an unfathomable abyss of unimaginable ruin? You are quick to point accusing fingers at others, when the grand larceny of the president is obvious for all to see!
Politics › Re: Babangida’s Endorsement Of APC Rattles PDP by takedat(m):
This coming from Tribune, I'll take it with a pinch of salt! I have not read elsewhere, where it was reported that he is throwing his weight behind the new party, but that he welcomes a two-party arrangement. IBB still remains a behemoth of some sort and a force to reckon with in our political landscape, but I do not believe the major movers of the new party will want an IBB to be publicly associated with the party, knowing fully well, that he has an integrity deficit, and one cannot understand his body language and inner scheming.
Politics › Re: Sullivan Chime Discriminates Against Yoruba In Enugu by takedat(m):
Our friends here are always oblivious to their leaders failings, but find fault in everything done by outsiders, playing the victim card and a cry of marginalisation. The toxic sentimentalism in their judgement and the inconsistencies between the way they treat others and what they believe about themselves, never will it make them see the wrong done by their leaders!
Politics › Re: 10,000 Capacity Multi-level Car-Park For MMIA by takedat(m):
PapaBrowne: Yes oh, that would make sense in a country that is willing to pay for public services. The last I checked, no infrastructure concession has been hitch free in Nigeria till date. MM2 has been problematic for the investors. Lekki Expressway is taking too long to complete. Lagos Ibadan had to be taken from the concessionaire. Infrastructure concession is at its infancy in Nigeria, so for things that have to be done urgently, you might as well just go ahead and do it yourself pending when the environment becomes more appealing for that.

We must give kudos where it is due. The minister of Aviation is working hard and we are here critisizing her works. Why not focus on those doing lottel or nothing? Whats happening in Steel, Education, FCT, Niger Delta,Health, Interior, Housing ministries and the few others that are performing in my opinion below par.
Lets encourage the performers and castigate the non performers. Agric, Aviation, Works, Trade & Investment, Finance currently stand out in this administration. Others like Foreign Affairs, Communications, Culture & Tourism etc are doing pretty good too.

Criticize right!!
I do rate the current minister of aviation very highly! I disagree on your assertion that Nigerians are very unwilling to pay for public services, after all, we pay toll for what is currently being used as car park and other services in our airports. The Government should be held responsible for the challenges encountered With infrastructure concession due to lapses in legal framework, bureaucratic inefficiency, multiple taxation and political and economic instability, But that does not mean we cannot get it right! The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Act needs amendment!

On the issue of criticising rightly, I guess I'll hold my peace so as not to be seen as a commentraitor!
