An infuriated girl asked me why a guy will cheat on his well behaved,beautiful and delectable girlfriend but still cheat on her.

As a typical Nigerian,i answered her with different questions. I asked her,"how many phone are u using",she replied 2. I asked her again to name them,with amazement she responded,"I.phone6 with a nokia torchlight phone".Without the knowledge of where I was heading to,i asked her again,why she is using a nokia phone while she has an expensive phone and why she is using pouch to protect the i.phone6 and not the same with the nokia phone. She responded"the i.phone needs to be protected because it is the main phone and is very expensive while the nokia is just to support the i.phone so that the i.phone will have less work load and in turn useful for long".

Placidly,i concluded"the girlfriend is like i.phone6 while the other one is the nokia phone majorly called the side chick,it is for the benefit of the main chic,we have the side chic"

Ladies should only try to know whether they are the i.phone6 or the nokia phone.
N.B,not supporting infidelity but saying the covert reality.

Nice piece. No such thing as unconditional love. It's a farce.

Even God's love is conditional. His vow to punish sinners and send them to hell makes his love for his 'children' comes with clause and conditions.

I believe you all hear the phrase Unconditional Love as it is being thrown around all the time.

People throw it around often, especially when one breaks up with a partner due one reason or the other.

You hear people say that Love transcends all forms of religions, creed, tribal, ethnic and racial divides. That true love actually recognises no boundaries: no errors, no defects, no wrong doings whatsoever.

They believe that when Love is pure and true, nothing else matters. ie why You read comments like "Leave that guy and move on, a person who loves you will accept you the way you are because TRUE LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL"

True love according to them is a devotion to someone without restrictions or boundaries – a type of love that won’t alter due to distance, temptations, or miniscule details including bad habits.

Apparently you can murder their parents and they will still love you the same.

Honestly it sounds good, feels good and for all intents and purposes it IS good, but does it exist?

NOPE, it doesn't exist. Someone loving you unconditionally is of course a big lie.

In my experience and from my observations, romantic love comes with a great many conditions and love at its core is more about gratitude.

We appreciate the way the other person makes us feel about ourselves.

We feel gratitude for the things they do for us, and how they treat us. And therefore, in the absence of gratitude, love does not really exist romantically.

Is there any person who doesn't go into a relationship with expectations and stays in them because of expectations?

The expectations are conditions which largely translates to, “How you treat me will determine if I stay or not.

Personally we are cool as long as I trust. As long as you respect me. As long as we feel the same. That’s love for me and it is conditional.

My advice to all of us is to be patient and forgiving, and to always put great effort into making a relationship work instead of expecting everything to fall into place naturally but stay away from people who believe in unconditional love; their heart is in danger.
