@ekpotek many thanks and God bless...you guys are making the process simpler for me by day

BUT

1. Are you advising i say no to "Other income" in the form?
OR should i put my bonus and commission as my 'other income'.

Can i present just the salary account because apart from my monthly salaries that come into the account and the 5x-500k self deposits and withdrawals, other transactions are 90% atm withdrawals and 10% pos. no transfers as i dont do online banking. The account seem too dry...hope the eco will not see it like that.

2. ok

3. ok no side biz.i better save the explanation.

Thanks once more for quick responses @ekpotek

ekpotek:

1. That’s good financial ties
2. Yes do that
3. You do not need to complicate your application by bringing in side business that you will find difficult to explain. Your income level and closing balance in your salary is good enough. Just explain irregular deposit in your salary account. Your unused USA visa has nothing to do with your application. So there is no need to offer an explanation.

Many thanks for your response @ijeshaoflondon,ekpotek and other gurus that are yet to respond

1. I am spending 800k for the trip. I work as a marketing executive with a salary of 350k per month after tax.
I have a balance of 2.5m being my annual commission and bonus paid in by my employer last week, thinking of printing statement next
week.

2. will go to my bank for the visa fee payment

3. For the cover letter, Let me share the points i have been writing on so i can get a proper guide...

i. 5 times cash deposits of 500k in my salary account, same day cash withdrawals of same in 2 bits.

ii. my other regular income is 75k which comes from a space i rent out for business. it comes into my savings account directly from the source every month. This account has day to day credits transactions as i use the account for other side biz and also some of my wife's customers also pay into the account.
We basically use the account to sort the family bills and to cater for the family daily needs, hence the daily debits. Both the credits aand debits transactions are between 5k to 150k. So the statement balance is less than 100k
Not yet sure i'm going to include this statement/biz as it seems too complicated to explain.

iii. Unused expired US visa - reason: was seriously ill for almost 1 year so i couldnt afford the trip, BUT said in my cover letter that i was busy with work. PLS ADVICE

iv. my intl passport which was mistakenly double stamped the departure stamp at MMA on my way to Houston in 2015 with family. one of the stamps was electronically cancelled by immigration upon arrival in Nigeria.

v. 2 properties i bought with the name of my 2 sons like 5 years ago (do i need to explain the source of the funds used to buy the property in the cover letter.

I really hope i'm not missing out any info needed for the cover letter or some points are not necessary to be in the cover letter.

NB
i have a company basically registered for general contracts but we have not done any contract for more than 4 years BUT my other income of 75k monthly is being done with the company name, payments go into my personal savings account.
I have all invoices/receipts, MOUs and other papers in the name of the company.
Sceptical about putting this biz in my application as the coy's tax is not up to date. Pls advice

If you could handle the US visa all by urself , then Uk shouldnt be that hard ...

To your questions-

1 Yes you can without an agent. Some agents are "AGENT OF DESTRUCTION". All u need do is to just paste your budgets on here for us to see, If theres need for corrections, then gurus here would advise. Infact if you can read from page 1 to here , then you are far better than the so called agents. Someone gave me stuffs worth 100k last week just for helping her to put uk application together and she got the visa, Just thru the info gathered from here .

2. if you have already filled the application form , Then just use any of your bank card that allows you to make online payments or you go to ur bank and ask if you can use ur card for online payments. I think Ikeja visa feeis like 50k plus and VI like 77k dhl courier like 7k

3. No need for Pros if you can do the write up.. but if you are not too sure you can, Just look for someone... but make sure the person who's gonna write for you really understand your situation.

Hello my peeps.
Respect to all the gurus in the house.

I am in the process of applying for 6 month uk visit visa and the application process seem too complicated unlike US visa which i did myself.

My questions:

1. is it possible for me to do UK visa application by myself without a visa agent?

2. I have completed the online form...stuck on payment. i have GTbank naira master card, can i pay with it and how much with their charges.

3. I have been on my cover letter for almost 2 weeks now, seems one needs a pro to handle it. pls i need a guru in the house that can help with this for a fee

your response is well appreciated...God bless

i have started filling the application form,i will share the info here for the gurus in the house to advise....

ekpotek:

1. The duration does not matters. What matters is documents to show why the money was paid? Who paid the money? What was the money paid for and if you’re entitled to such payment?

2. It wont affect it.

many thanks for your response...God bless

some questions were not answered...
1. for how long do i need to leave the commission from my work in the account before printing statement?

2. hope my unused US visa will not affect this UK application.

ekpotek:

1. So far you have documents to show that the payment was bonus and commision earn from your work place. Then its okay. Your salary is good

2. You do not need to present this account or talk about any side business in your application. You salary account is enough.

3. Yes disclose that you have a relative in the UK. It is your perogative to visit or not visit her. If you want to visit her, then get invite from her and other necessary documents to establish her status in the UK. If not book hotel.

Hi ekpotek, justwise, frontpagelawyer and all other gurus that have been keeping the thread going with their good work.

pls i need your assistance in applying for uk visa as a first timer.

1. i work with a company where i get a salary of 350k per month with annual commission and bonus.Monthly salaries go into my account so as my annual commissions and bonuses.
The issue is that im expecting my aaccumulated annual commission and bonus(2m+)to be paid next week before i submit my application, hope this will not be considered as a lodgement in my account as this will be my available balance for this application and vaccation. AND how long do i need to leave the cash in account before printing statement

2.i have another income of 75k per month which goes into another account. I also use the same account for some petty businesses, transactions between 5k and 100k, money comes in and out of the account everyday but dont have a good balance.
How do i present this account to the ECO or should i just leave this bank statement out of the application?

3.Have a sister in UK but she's not the one inviting me,will be staying in the hotel.
Hope the ECO will not be like why is she not inviting... and do i need to state in my form that i have a relative in uk?

4.Have travelled to Turkey and US on my old pport BUT my renewed US visa expired last month unused.
Hope this will not affect the UK application.

thanks

Culled 2 noilers on Friday.
Meat is superb, more tasty when compared to broiler.
A little like the local fowl meat toughness.
At 15+ wks,it is matured enough for table but the meat could have been better at 20+ wks old to get the real local fowl drift.

From my little experience, end of Oct or early Nov would be fine to start.
Total cost depends on location. You will need like 4-5 bags of feed take them to table size.
Antibiotics and anti cossi will be needed too.

P.S
Make the birds you are buying are well vaccinated.

Well done,Tasho.I have questions. Please, from experience, how many bags do you suppose 50 broilers will eat from day old to 9weeks?What was the average weight of your chickens which you culled at 9wks?How much presently can one get for a 9wk old broiler if you are selling to those who will resell?I hope you didn't have too much mortality? Thanks.

1.See this breakdown on 50 broilers
From 0 - 15days - 1 bag of feed
16 - 25days - 1 bag
26 - 33days - 1 bag
They were now consuming 1bag in 5 - 6 days.
So let say like 9 - 10 bags in 9wks.

2.Average live weight at 9 wks - 2.5kg

3.Selling cost depends on you location and market availability. At the frozen Chicken market in Abuja, they buy at N1200 per kg(dressed weight)

4.Mortality depends on the quality of your birds and biosecurity.Being the first project batch mortality was high,at 9 weeks I culled 43 birds. This has improved though.

Bro how far, my female is now matured and has laid 5 eggs already. The problem now is it laid in a place that is far away from her cage.. Do I leave it there or pack the eggs to her cage because it's exposed to rain?
Good one.
1.Are the eggs laid at a spot or differently?
2.Was the hen mated by a tom?
If answer to (2) is yes,you have fertilised eggs.Move the eggs back to her cage for her to continue laying.

Sell them off at max 20 weeks. You only be wasting time and cash if you keep them and even risk death. December is about 16 weeks away

My own experience, broilers were easier to raise compared to noilers. Imagine running broilers without medication for about 8 weeks and they are very healthy. With noliers, its almost impossible.
Many thanks for the brilliant advice.
I really want them to reproduce...want to enjoy the great experience.i will do 20 weeks to know the ones to sell off....The productive ones,a cock and 2 hens would be retained till Dec for the reproduction project /experiment...hoping there will be no mortality.
