[You nailed this question....nuff reapest quote author=CreativeWeb post=114749342]
He should state the amount he has in his account and assets he has. This amount should cover his living expenses for 6 months to one year.
He should never give any clue that he will be depending on the stipend you may be getting from the school for his upkeep.
If he has investment like real estate and he has tenants paying him, he should state that.
Just convince the VO that he's not going there to be a liability which will make him to start finding ways to work with f2 visa, which is not allowed.[/quote] |

Everything looks good with your application but for the program. Why advanced diploma and not a degree? And why Pastoring...is there a program like this? bayode: Hey People,
I have been wanting to ask this question here in this group.
I got admission into CFNI Dallas to undergo Advances Diploma in "PASTORING"
Fees: $15K
SPONSORING: My Uncle who happens to be the Owner of one of the Biggest Real Estate Company in Lagos with over 10years in Real Estate Development of Houses. I also intend to part sponsor myself.
*The Question* I applied with the whole family, and the School gave all my 4kids and hubby I20 document.
The Question is, What chances do I have applying with the whole family for a 1year course in USA, Noting the fact that we have travelled together as a family to USA BEFORE
Note ; I intend to explain that I run a real estate company here in Lagos Nigeria with over 7years experience. |

Baphil: Date of your orientation would suffice. So it should be the first date not the date your classes start. if date of orientation is same as 'earliest admission date' on i20 and 'program start date' is when your classes start. For EA , which do you u use out of the 2 dates to get the 60 day? |

Hi nairalanders,
Many thanks for the good work...God bless you all. A friend is applying for 6 mo visit visa by end of this month. She is self employed, she pays herself salaries into her personal account every month. Her business is registered but no tax and no enough docs to backup transactions in her account. 1. Is it possible for her to submit her application as just an employee of the company, and not as the owner of the business? OR Can the application fly if she submits the biz owner and present the papers without tax?
Awaiting your kind response. |

100% on point sir...the ECO was confused. bigtt76: Good balances but my take below
1. Why present a treasury bill maturing at the expiration of your expected 6 month's visa? ECO wants to see enough money available for your trip and after it not just what you have untouchable.
2. You said you earn N4.8million as self employed, do you pay yourself a fixed monthly amount that can be matched up to that total by viewing your bank statement?
3. Your joint account balance with your sister without a letter from her ceding the amount therein for your vacation shows that you don't have 100% access to the funds therein for your sole use.
4. Moving funds from your business account to your mutual fund account does not show the funds is available for your personal use. Don't mix up your business account/funds with private funds. Rather you should pay yourself a fixed amount monthly from your business profit and move it to your mutual funds account then present your personal account showing inflow of fixed 'salary' and outflow to your mutual funds.
5. Did you take into consideration your budget for the trip? Your disposable income monthly should be able to fund your trip not more than two months of its total value.
I hope this helps. |

I get my salary every second week of every month BUT last month's salary has not been paid yet. It will be paid hopefully by Fri 31st.
I hope this will not affect the bank statement OR do i need to run it for another 6 month? |

...but mentioning them will not cause any harm too. You don't need any document from them if you are not staying with them. Mentioning them makes this and subsequent UKvisa applications more straight and simple... omopapa: Considering the sentence in bold below, I’d apply on my own without stating or including any relative. It becomes more complicated when you mention that you have a relative. Since you have a tie to Ireland (your uni) and you have sufficient funds, I think you shld apply on your own and not declare any distant relative. |

Nicely said...keep your application simple with one company docs and relevant bank statements. Candybright: I think you should just keep your application simple. If one company account demonstrate enough funds, use it. Don't go and scatter VO's dada with plenty documents and explanation they don't even read atimes |
