I have confirmed that this is a genuine case. |
Agroblessing:Seen it and replied. |
Agroblessing:Ok. PM me. Haven't ever used the PM on here so lets see how it works. |
Agroblessing:What is the cost of each component that you need? |
plaindealer:3 or 4 years from now, please do show me a working PH refinery producing even 100,000 bpd. We all know where the money will end up. Sham rehabilitation. By the way, Brazil is also a hotbed of corruption and I know that well. So, it isn't a good yardstick for comparison. https://www.ganintegrity.com/portal/country-profiles/brazil/ https://www.transparency.org/en/countries/brazil |
dre11:Last TAM was badly carried out but we did not hear that anyone was held accountable for it. Neither the Contractor nor those supervising the maintenance or who awarded the contract. Needless to say that it was an avenue for siphoning money and a sham TAM. |
DrObum:Yes. E normal everywhere too. |
The place take style look like the prison when dem say 'Husshy pup' dey for Chicago |
British airways is not even owned by the government. Its a private company. Bringing out this letter is meaningless. |
Gobdddd:Your calculation is not correct. You get N500 for $100 |
thebosstrevor1:How is receiving money in dom account not classed as remittance? The only way to receive money now in Nigeria through international money transfer organisations or international banks is into a dom account. |
Ghostrye:They neglected to put chloride there as it would be easily detected as salt. Then they did not put salt and called it sodium so that it will not be easily recognisable. That is clearly wrong and will not be allowed in developed societies. It needs to be labelled as Salt! |
AfroMighty:It is coming. It will seduce you big time and you need to fall for that seduction ![]() |
Flyover has now become the yardstick for good governance in Nigeria ![]() |
baralatie:The house may be seized but if he is earning money, then he has no excuse for not paying the mortgage. The courts will compel him to as his children live in the house, else. he may go to jail. |
Cleanworld:He will need to pay the mortgage for the house, pay child support for the children and also be paying for his one room. His money will all finish and by the way, he has lost his job! |
RisenPhoenix1:Many ladies do their homework about all your assets before the "show" begins. If any hidden assets not declared are made known to the courts even after the divorce proceedings are over, the case may be reopened and you will pay dearly for not declaring it. |
Built2last:I'm not sure universal credit can pay his rent. he needs to go to his council and declare homelessness. He can go onto the housing register but his turn will not reach for the next 3 years to be given a single flat because a single man is the least priority on the housing list. Sick and vulnerable people, single parents, families, single women all have higher priority on the list. A single man is the least priority on that list. With homelessness, that is the only way council can give him money for rent and that will be for one room in a shared house or apartment at no more than about £500 a month is what councils can afford. |
drlaykay:People in Canada have become experts in getting various types of letters (financial, bank accounts, IOU, medical) from Nigeria to back up their divorce cases and the Canadian courts take those letters very seriously. So I am not surprised about what you wrote. |
monfizzy:Yes, it is because you were once denied a US visa. There will be a question asked on the form which says have you been denied US visa before and if you say yes, that will automatically turn the application to a manual approval. Any such question when it is answered yes, the system is programmed not to give automatic approval as a British citizen or ESTA qualified applicant. Your form will revert to be reviewed manually. The CBP officer will then check why you were refused as a Nigerian citizen back then and will check other things and if satisfied, will approve it manually and you will get your 2 year permission to visit the US. Note that you must declare the visa refusal and if you don't, you will likely be excluded from visiting the US for a long time. |
Oracleforce:Unfortunately, he cannot relocate to another country apart from Nigeria except he is a citizen there. Relocation is not an easy thing as you would have to start from scratch and you will not have any credit record and that is not easy. Anything you want to apply for, they will do a credit check and if you are new and don't have a record, they are likely to deny you. |
ASUNDER:There is really not much he can do about it. The law favours the woman especially if they have kids. My white neighbour and his wife who are a relatively young couple have two children and when they had marital disagreement, he was the one that had to move out of the house. Luckily for him, his parents do not live far away so he moved to their house. He has a job so can at least fend for himself. Many Nigerian men are in the same boat as this man and are really struggling and that's why there are so many single and divorced older men here. He may even be the one still paying for the mortgage in the house that he is not living in and the lady could bring another man to the house to stay. He should focus on himself, but if he doesn't have a good job, then his life will be one of continuous struggle as he will not be able to get a new mortgage and will be living from hand to mouth or will be depending on the Government for pittance. To be honest, it is a difficult decision but if he thinks there is really no hope, maybe he should return to Nigeria and try to make something out for himself. His children will look for him when they are older. If he remains here he would need to work really hard to turnaround his situation. |
Was equally as excited when I got in too. She should be ready for hard work no matter the course as its not a joke. However, if she is not working and at the same time studying like some of us are, then she will be fine. |
They should paint the roof with a special white colour. It would reflect the sun and keep the building cooler. It is being done in some Supermarkets in France and would even make more sense in a warm and sunny climate. |
Fixey:At least I advised the OP to take the job despite not sanctioning what Mr Richard is doing. |
Fixey:Ha ha. I don't live in Nigeria and even just changed job last October during the peak of Covid when people were losing jobs and people say its difficult for black man to get job for white man land. I no fight for job oh and I get am. I have changed jobs 4 times in my life and never for once did I not get it on merit. So Bros, I don't know any other way to get a job so don't blame me please. Thanks. ![]() |
A real good man will not give you such a condition before connecting you to a job. The problem is that people have come to regard such things as normal in Nigeria. At best, if Mr Richard really needs some money, he can say please give me whatever you can from from your salary and it is left to the discretion of the person to give whatever he feels like. When you say men serve for one full year or more before they are settled, they are indeed working for someone and in return, that person will settle them so that they can own and manage their own business. Remember that when you serve someone, it is not all about getting money at the end of your time to start your own business. You will learn the ropes of the trade and not take on any business risk during that time as you don't own the Business, but you need to help your "Master" grow his business too. That is a mutual benefit and helps young people get into jobs. Apprenticeship is normal and even in developed societies, there is some form of that in companies. |
Mr Richard is not a good man but there is nothing much you can do about it now. If you don't currently have a job and you are not sure you will earn anything in the next few months or if your current salary is far lower than the 80k, then I would say you should take the job. One day one day, Mr Richard will pay for what he has done or been doing to people. He will come to you in future for help and you can decide what to do then. For now, treat it like a commission fee you have to pay. |
Listened to the song and it sounds so nice. Never thought that the statement "Thunder fire you" could sound so cool. ![]() The song is going to go global. |
kponkedenge:I know Lufthansa very well. The point is that Lufthansa does not fly from Lagos to Berlin. It is Lagos to Frankfurt. Except you are saying that the flight was Lagos to Frankfurt to Berlin to China, which I don't see as likely. Most Lufthansa international flights depart from Frankfurt. |
kponkedenge:Lagos to Berlin? I thought Lufthansa flies to Frankfurt? How come Berlin? It doesn't make sense. Explain. |
CSTRR:He may not have done it by choice. If South Africa requires that you don't hold dual nationality, then you have to renounce one to get another. |
