FamilyRe: Industrialist Dumps Wife For Housemaid. by tayo4me(f): 5:53am On Jun 12, 2010
I am not surprised there are still many men with archaic beliefs out there. I dont know why some practice double standards. Telling me a man has the right not to be with me anymore- but why is the case different when the table turns, and the woman also decides to exercise her own right not to be with the man any more? That is when we hear things like- ha she is w h o r e, after bringing her out from her village blah blah blah.

Some men refuse to allow their wives to work or make sure they (women) are in an employment that pays less than theirs (men). At this point the men promise heaven on earth that they will take care of all their needs, make sure they will not suffer and other stories that make you wanna throw up in the mans face. The women are naturally more involved emotionally in the marriage and spend countless hours taking care of the home-front (which is their duty anyway), and also put up with all the insults of their husbands. Now when it's time for divorce, and the woman demands something off you, you all start ranting. That is when you remember she did not contribute anything to your wealth. What happened to all the promises made some previous yearshuh Definitely the man is to blame in such situation cuz he refused her to be employed. So you expect her to go out in the cold with nothing to hold on to, probably worse off than she was before marriage, all in the name of not contributing anythinghuh

I will continue to say it- some men are just ungrateful!!!

Wonders will never cease on Nairaland. Na by force to have intimacy nihuh I have never heard of someone dying as a result of lack of intimacy. You better control yourself, before you do something you'll later regret.
FamilyRe: Industrialist Dumps Wife For Housemaid. by tayo4me(f): 11:12pm On Jun 11, 2010
With the way women are being treated, I dont think I will get married o, because I cant tolerate all the rubbish men dish out to women. After suffering with a man when he was a nobody, he suddenly wakes up one day after becuming somebody and decides to get married to sum1 else, and tell u to ur face u didnt contribute anytin to his life.

I tell people that care to listen that if I eventually get married and then smell a rat, I wont hesitate to leave the marriage. Many women suffer in marriages especially in Africa but refuse to leave because of their children. Honestly the best is to leave, because the children you claim to be protecting will not forgive you later if the situation gets worse. After leaving, I will make life difficult for the man and the so-called new woman.

Some men are just really ungrateful

TV/MoviesRe: New Film On Fela: Ejiofor Takes Lead Role, As D’banj Fails by tayo4me(f): 5:28pm On Jun 10, 2010
D'banj may have some attributes of Fela, for instance his energy on stage, but he definitely does not have the acting skills. This fact is so obvious in his videos- Fall in love and Suddenly.

Sentiments apart, although I have not seen Ejiofor in action, from his list of awards and what people have said about him, I feel he is better for the role. At least the role was not given to a complete foreigner.

CelebritiesRe: Rugged Man & 9ice's Private Phone Conversation On Toni Payne {leaked} by tayo4me(f): 4:21pm On May 30, 2010
To start with Rugged man should not have released the recording on the internet. I understand he is trying to clear his name and all that but that is kind of childish. I learnt Toni Payne posted something about the issue on facebook and Rugged man too abused some people who are in support of 9ice- now this was a very wrong move. Toni Payne should not have even said anything, it is her private life which involves a young innocent child and should not be brought to public.

The song was probably composed before they separated, but he may have known something was fishy. Although I feel 9ice should come out to clear the air at least for the sake of his child, his refusal to comment may mean there is more to it.

And on the issue of people saying 9ice used Toni for his career, and dumped her now that he is well known, I laugh in Chinese. I believe they both used each other, because that is what marriage is for (to uplift each other); it's not like Toni too was well known in the first place.

I support 9ice's insistence on keeping quiet- it is his private life and can refuse to comment. The other problem I have with the recording was when he started bragging about being a star- just one sentence for u 9ice- YOU ARE NOT A STAR YET, YOU ARE JUST WELL KNOWN, and dont forget your fans matter, and after God, they (fans) made u
CelebritiesRe: Okereke Has "Problems" With Nigerian Culture by tayo4me(f): 3:51pm On May 30, 2010
He is being delusional as he has been brainwashed by the British culture. I agree there are some wrongs about Nigerian culture and some of its practices, but definitely not this one. Instead of them to admit they are abnormal or that they have being rejected by the opposite gender, they hide under the freedom of privacy.

He should not even bother coming to Nigeria cuz we dont need his sorry a.r.s.e polluting the country

PoliticsRe: Acting President Goodluck Jonathan And His Too Many Grammatical Errors by tayo4me(f): 6:19pm On Apr 15, 2010
@post, many of us Nigerians get our priorities wrong. Grammatical errors, dress sense, all other flimsy issues do not matter. All that is important is good governance and development

PoliticsRe: Goodluck Ebele Jonathan For President! (Vote Now) by tayo4me(f): 6:07pm On Apr 15, 2010
Jonathan Goodluck has not done anything spectacular, nothing beyond the ordinary and expected. Maybe if he continues in the manner in which he started and increases the tempo, he can then deserve the post
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Meets Obama At Blair House(pics) by tayo4me(f): 11:48am On Apr 13, 2010
Obasanjo's outfit has nothing to do with a man wearing an Ugly hat and a Lace to go meet a Foreign President. . .
At least, Obasanjo's outfit symbolizes one of many Nigerian Culture. . .
What does Jonathan Goodluck's outfit represent? Nothing.
And look at the way he sits down, spreading his legs apart on the ground. . .
Compare his sitting position to that of Obama's, I mean on the second picture. . .the one where the journalists are surrounding them.
It's simple and official, Jonathan Goodluck hasn't got what it takes to be President.
A president should have style and Class and Jonathan Goodluck doesn't possess any of those qualities.
I dont know if this is inferiority complex or something. Would you ever catch Obama in Yoruba, Ibo or Hausa attire, just because he is visiting Nigeria? We should be proud of what we have please, this idea of copying oyinbo style is killing us. Even look at the Indian Prime Minister, he is always dressed in his native attire, and there are so many of them like that, so there is nothing to complain about
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Meets Obama At Blair House(pics) by tayo4me(f): 8:51pm On Apr 12, 2010
Good image for Nigeria, but on the other hand I noticed that the Americans had notes, but the Africans (Nigeria and South-Africa) didnt. Does it mean they were just there to admire Obama, no information to take back home?
PoliticsRe: Critics Call For The Pope To Be Arrested by tayo4me(f): 8:42pm On Apr 12, 2010
Religious leader or not, a paedophile is a criminal. Those that cover up the crime too are accomplices, and should also be prosecuted. You people calling holy father, ask yourselves this question- if this dastardly act is committed on your child by your holy father, would you let it go unreported? Let us call a spade a spade and not a farming tool, abeg! If true, what the Pope did is wrong, chikena!
PoliticsRe: Critics Call For The Pope To Be Arrested by tayo4me(f): 7:11pm On Apr 12, 2010
The main problem in that church is celibacy. Marriage was ordained for all by God, for God's sake or did not read that in the Bible. Until they accept it as their problem, nothing will change. It is only normal they crave for sexual satisfaction, because God Himself created it
PoliticsRe: Critics Call For The Pope To Be Arrested by tayo4me(f): 7:04pm On Apr 12, 2010
These Atheists sef, they refuse to belief in a God, yet they go about disturbing others. On the other hand, if an investigation suggests the Pope is guilty, he should be arrested. The actions he is accused of are great and if true should not go unpunished just because he is the Pope. He was placed in an authoritative position with responsibilities and should have reported those involved instead of covering them up.

All those that are saying he cannot be arrested should not be surprised. As it has already been mentioned, the Vatican is not recognised as a state in the International community, so the Pope is not immune from arrest just for his religious position and reasons.

This is possible, but may also mean it will be very late in the year.

EducationRe: The Nigerian Law School by tayo4me(f): 4:44pm On Apr 10, 2010
Apparently, my friend said she called them and was told they do not know when the application will open. This is because there is a back log of Bar II students, so intead of admitting Bar I students for May/June, I think the remainder of Bar II students are being admitted.
