SmartPolician: Peter Obi supporters have already conquered the cyberspace in Nigeria, so he will conveniently win any online polls.
However, these people should stop giving Nigerians the impression that Peter Obi will win the real election because elections are not conducted online.
I want to vote for him and want him to win. Peter Obi has no structure and Labour Party needs to massively recruit people for house-to-house grassroots campaigns - that's how new parties win elections. What are you doing online? Stop pretending that only Obi's supporters have phones and internet connection |

AntiChristian: Stop telling me lies! Jesus ran away from ruling people.
Democracy is man-made theory of government! It is not biblical just that you have no other option. You can't use Islam's Shari'a as Muslims are your competitor. No biblical law is suitable and complete in ruling a nation. Hence, the west created democracy for you. You point is because Jesus ran from politics we Christians should leave all politics and leadership to Muslims. Very smart move. I now understand why you feel entitled and why you support Muslim Muslim |

naija4life247: When Kingibe was asked, during a debate in 1993, "Abiola and You are Muslims, how will the interest of Christians be protected in your government?"
Kingibe replied "Abiola and I are never and will never be representing Muslims or Christians in government, the interest of Muslims will be handled by Sultan of Sokoto while that of Christians will be handled by Okogie (the CAN President), we are representing Nigerians regardless of their religions.
My Boss Abiola comes from Majority Yoruba in the South West, I come from the Minority Kanuri in the North East. Abiola comes from core Private Sector, I come from core Public Sector to save Nigeria and move our country beyond the reach of bigotry."
That 'MuslimMuslim' Ticket won in 1993. Guess what? The man who annulled it was IBB a Muslim from the North and handed over to unelected Shonekan, a Christian from the South.
Political Office is not religion, do not bring religion to it and don't be deceived by fanatics. I just discovered something today. 99% of us coming on Nairaland or Twitter to talk politics already have our minds made up. It's almost impossible to convince anyone anymore. Those against Muslim/Muslim would not change their minds and those supporting it would not back down either. |

So being "Obidients" support telling lies? Do you want those of us that have lived in the north to tell you some of the things we've heard from mosques? I remember an imam saying if a Christian man impregnates a Muslim girl, the baby within her is devilish and should be killed. |

AntiChristian: I just want to ask you, was Jesus ever involved in politics of his time? And why does CAN rant like that? So as Christians, the aim isn't to eat the food Jesus ate, or say the very words Jesus said or vote for the party Jesus voted for. Jesus has already told us what to do to be saved our politics is personal. CAN is concerned because Nigeria is in a very bad place, heading for the gutters. Also can does not represent every church or Christian. |

See one of your Pastors saying his sheeples should vote in favour of the Church!
He said....
A Clear Instruction (i think from the Holy Spirit), when it is time to vote, vote in the favor of the church not for your party! Any believer that sells out his faith in the name of party is heading for hell.
You say I voted by mistake, lol. Now you qoute a pastor as if I represent ever pastor. I have lived in the north, I speak perfect Hausa. I have heard worse things spoken by imams. |

robosky02: Super falcons of Nigeria the nine 9 times African champions came to Morocco with a dream to win the 10th title but what we saw was what left a bitter test in out mouth
1 the Bayana Bayana stung them in their first game 2. The Moroccans beat them were it matters at the semi finals 3. Even in the consolation 3rd place match Zambia yet humbled them
For the first time Nigeria is losing 3 game in the tournament.
What do you think is the problem of Nigeria super falcon team?
Is this the end of Nigeria dominance in Africa?
What is the way forward

Once i am employed na to go look for my mosque people pack in their as is available in most government parastatals. Na church members boku for their. The employer will even be asking which parish one attends!
When it's personal staff then democracy goes silent! Let me explain, we do not vote for personal staff so obviously democracy has nothing to do with it. Secondly, these staff are not employed to serve the nation so democracy has nothing to do with it. When we take about democracy, we talk about what concerns the nation not the individual. |

Abeg shift! You just used the word personal staff to qualify it. They are there to serve you not the country. We do not vote for them or expect anything from them. They are not answerable to the public so we don't concern ourselves with that. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Does Religion Matter? by tctrills: 4:53pm On Jul 23, 2022 |
AntiChristian: Nigerian constitution is not against what he did. What he did is for the interest of his election. He believes in what he did. If he wins then he is justified. And if not then he lose it all.
Politics is not a do or die affair. Follow your own opinion and let others follow theirs. You should say because you dislike Muslim-Muslim ticket then others too should act likewise.
Tinubu is not even much of a Muslim as his wife is an RCCG pastor. Almost all (If not all) his children are Christians! So wetin we carry for head? You are right, if what he did was against the constitution, we would have asked for his arrest and not mere condemnation. We have not suggested killing anyone so the question of politics not being do or die makes no sense here. We are not voting for Tinubu wife or Children. I don't even know the name of Obi's wife or her religion And it does not matter to me. |

Even with Osinbajo as VP, many of his staff are from RCCG. Na only Buhari they will always accuse of favoring the north! Your personal staff is your of your business. They are there to serve you My biggest issue with Buhari was bad leadership. If Buhari was a good man, his personal staff can come from his village. But here we are not discussing personal staff but the position of the vice president of Nigeria |

If you don't care, then you shouldn't expect everyone to be like you. Most Nigerians would be concerned if he chose a fellow Yoruba as his vice. So it's funny to see many of them pretending now he chose a fellow Muslim just because the are Muslims. |
