AntiChristian: False.
More than 10% will classified as having more than one religion! Some pastors/Muslims engage in traditionalism! Well even at 10 percent broken into over 100 religions, they become too small for the national discussion. How many Ikuku worshippers do we have? How many Ogun worshippers. If them make up a reasonable minority them we can have the discussion. But for now, we have to major religions that represent at least 90 percent of all Nigerians and that matters. Just so you know, we wouldn't support a Christian/Christian presidency. |

So which one do you know among them? Tell your own lies? Abi you just felt it?
Findings: The insinuation that the cleric who attended the unveiling of Shettima were fake was first propounded by CAN to discredit the attendees and consolidate its position that no Christian should vote for a Muslim-Muslim ticket. Some of the bishops who attended the event have come up to disclose their identities, showing that they were not fake.
For instance, one of the purported fake Bishop Kamoru from Lagos, according to Twitter, is actually a real cleric from Peace Chapel Mararaba. Photo has emerged where he was seen conducting a wedding in the church and some of his members have come up to say that they knew him personally.
Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, of Gkoko Catholic Diocese Benue State was also among the cleric CAN called fake. He is also the APC Governorship candidate in Benue.
Another cleric, Pastor Prince Ugokwe, who was called fake was also at the event. Ugokwe has made his identity known that he is truly a pastor and not fake. Right now the identities of all clerics who attended the event were known.
Verdict: CAN lied when it said that the bishops and pastors who attended unveiling of Shettima as Tinubu’s running mate were fake, mechanics and artisans. Findings have shown that they were truly pastors and bishops with known identities.

But in the North, you'll see find Christians....I don't understand your point. Let me try and explain it to you this way, democracy is all about getting represented. Nigeria is almost 50/50 Muslim Christian hence have a Muslim/Muslim presidency makes no sense. Kano has about 10 percent Christian so I don't expect to see a Christian governor in Kano. Imo is over 95 percent Christian so I understand if Muslims do not make up the government. Nigerian demography either Kano or Imo but somewhere in between. Lindner: Looking at the three most popular candidates in the forthcoming election, I can say I've never been more confused.
Was discussing with some of my guys and I won't kid myself, it's a decision for the least evil choice among the three. Sorry to say, if these are the best Nigeria has to offer again (as always), we're still in deep shit.
ATIKU He's been an active participant in the shit we find ourselves as a country today. When that name is mentioned, what I hear is corruption and the continuation of institutionalized corruption and bad governance. He was once a VP, so he has no point to proof. He created part of the problem we're in.
BAT Too many baggages. The fact that allegations cannot be proven does not mean they are false. It may just mean the perpetrator is to smart to cover his tracks. Plus, this man should just be resting and taking care of his health. Looks too frail. The complexity of our problems require agility. I just don't see how BAT can give even 50% of himself to the job consistently over 4 or 8 years. And I keep hearing about how he looted Lagos state dry.
PO Looks good on paper but I can't just see any evidence of historical performance except vague statistics. They said he transformed Anambra. If today's Anambra is the transformed version and the standard for performance, all hope may be lost. And again, I'm weary of the 2015 rhetorics of "never-do-wrong, ultimate solution to all our problems" that made Buhari president. I'm also not just comfortable rooting for the same candidate as IPOBs, their sympathizers and people who didn't wish Nigeria well but all of a sudden are interested in the country. Seem to me there's an ulterior motive (whether PO is aware ot not). I just don't want to help them gain power by contributing my vote- whatever the motive.
Here is my dilemma and some of the real issues to be discussed when campaigning for your candidates instead of the ethno-religious nonsense that is plaguing us as a nation. The standard is so low to the point that our expectations are pathetic. Our best candidates are just a bunch of people from the same stock. You are the cause of your dilemma. I would not tell you to support Obi but all his achievements are there to see. If you are really interested in knowing who to vote for, then it's up to you to educate yourself. When Buhari took over, his biggest complain was that the previous government left no money. Obi remains the only person in Nigeria that had both saved and invested a substantial amount for the next government. By next year, our debt servicing would outweigh our income as a nation. Under Obi, Anambra managed what it had. He paid up old debts and did not go borrowings. These 2 reasons are enough to show that he is cut out of different material from the average Nigerian politician. One more thing, his education policy ended up making Anambra the no 1 in weac. I am such he is not perfect but it's so easy to see what he brings. |

Penguin2: Got into argument with a Tinubu supporter who dubiously said that one day Igbos will start supporting Ikpeazu for presidency because he’s Igbo.
And I reminded him that 16 years after Orji Uzor Kalu finished as Abia Governor, Igbos never cease to lambast him whenever they can because we believe he failed in Abia. That’s why we didn’t lose sleep when he was jailed.
7 years after his time as Imo governor, Igbos form the greatest critics of Okorocha . Because he failed in Imo. Reason we didn’t lose sleep when EFCC was manhandling him.
7 years after his time as Abia Governor, Theodore Orji cannot show his face in public because Igbos will eat him raw.
In 2015, Ikpeazu lost Abia but Theodore Orji used his influence as former INEC Commissioner to get him declared and that was how Alex Otti was denied his mandate.
7 years into his time as governor of Abia and Igbos are the fiercest critics of Ikpeazu.
Willie Obiano, despite his sterling performance in Anambra, when compared to other governors in Nigeria, was never spared of constant criticism by Ndi Anambra and Igbos in general because we believed his performance was below par when compared to the performance of the man he succeeded.
Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu state, despite his humane nature, prompt payment of salary, not plunging the state into debts, still dey collect am woto woto for our hand. In fact some of us call him “Madam Ugwuanyi” because we believe his performance is below par.
Talking about Hope Uzodimma of Imo State would be an overkill.
But not so with most of our Yoruba brothers .
Despite Aregbesola plunging Osun state into the worst economic crisis ever suffered by any state in Nigeria, these people still supported and defended him.
Despite Dapo Dagboru of Ogun State practically doing nothing for over 3 years now, they still support him.
Despite Tinubu’s many glaring atrocities, he’s their lord and saviour.
The only time they hate you is if you go against Tinubu like they hated Fashola, still hates Ambode and Osinbajo for daring to go against Tinubu.
So, which Yoruba politicians do Yorubas genuinely hate for being inept or for being corrupt?

AlexReports: Climate Clock Seek Increased Awareness To Achieve SDG Target On Climate Change
As Nigeria joins the world to mark the Climate Emergency Day, a non governmental organisation known as International Initiative for Advancement of SDGs in Africa in collaboration with Climate Clock Nigeria have made an urgent call on the challenges of climate change in Nigeria and Africa. The call was made during a press conference held in Abuja to commemorate the July 22 World Climate Emergency Day.
Speaking during the conference, the Director of Climate Clock Nigeria, Mr. Chuks Anyaduba cried out the need for urgent actions to salvage the earth from the disasters of climate change in the nearest future. He called on policy makers, stakeholders, businessman, politicians and amongst others to act now, stressing that the climate clock is fast ticking.
He said the climate clock is counting down to the time when the world will the most dreadful climate disasters. He says "timer reminds us to act now and in time to avert the worst climate actions which can happen to mankind". He says that July 22nd calls for global actions ahead of the deadline to reach 1.5°¢ on global warming, as the countdown commences today.
He further noted that the objective of the conference is to speak to world leaders, African leaders, individual, community leaders, local person and everyone to act now to avert the worst climate actions that could occur. He adviced them to okay their little parts by contributing through initiatives on gas emission, alternative energy amongst other areas that requires critical interventions.
Also speaking during the conference was Mr. Olumide, who is climate change advocate and co-founder International Climate Change Development Initiative, and doubles as the Executive Coordinator of Africa Youth Initiative on Climate Change, emphasized on the plans required to ensure a climate smart generation across Africa.
He noted that the need for sustainable actions that will trigger investment opportunities for young people across the Africa, stressing that local communities must understand the need for urgent climate actions. He highlighted the challenges of gas flaring, flooding sea level rise and other key areas of emergency concerns in Africa and especially Nigeria. He challenged everyone to start making personal actions to salvage the fast devastating challenges of climate emergency in Nigeria.
Other speakers including the SDG Ambassador Nollywood Actor Uzee Usman and Climate Advocate Kelvin, laid emphasis on the need for interventions through local supports, awareness by Entertainers, Celebrities and other popular public figures by lending out their voices and talents to encourage individual cautiousness, responsible actions, massive participations, government inputs and international assistance geared at managing the circumstances to avoid disastrous outcomes in the future.
The assurance that a portal is currently been created by Climate Clock Nigeria to address the issue of afforestation, desertification, degradation and amongst other climate related challenges was also discussed as Anyaduba who also stated that the conference on Climate Emergency is currently ongoing in major cities across the world, namely, New Orleans, Rome, Accra, Kighali, Newyork, amongst other.
However, Newsmen and Journalists were encouraged to expand better awareness on the need for urgent climate actions through various mass media programs and initiatives. The team called on Stakeholders, CSOs and especially the press to improve awareness on the required state of emergency bothering on climate related problems in the country as a moment of silence was held to mark the global climate emergency day in Nigeria
"The ‘Climate Clock’ is currently ticking which counts down the number of years until it’s no longer possible to keep global warming below 1.5°C, as we currently have less than seven years until we reach an irreversible global warming deadline, which has created the need for urgent actions" Anyaduba concluded Please, you fake climate alarmist should give Africa a break. The rest of the world developed using fossil fuels but now the would do anything to keep Africa from developing. Let's learn from the mistakes of Germany, because of the climate stupidity, this could be a very cold winter in Germany. |

annyplenty: Glory to God in the Highest! Amen! On Friday, April 8th, 2022, at about 12.05 p.m. Nigerian time, I had a dream, which is still pointing to the time we are living in, the time of the coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
In the dream, I saw the outbreak of prostitution in Nigeria. Young girls in large numbers suddenly give-in to commercial prostitution, even girls that I knew were among those that I saw in the revelation. And they became so bold, so daring, so effrontery in carrying out their trades of prostitution that nobody could even talk to them or ask them, ‘what is this that you doing’?
They were even doing their prostitutions in the open, not in their brothels anymore, but right on the streets, where people could see them, on the streets. They were in different clusters; like a set of three girls and one boy belonging to one cluster, and doing their trades, raw. It was so scary and there were so many diseases them. Sexually transmitted diseases broke out among them.
I remember, sometimes ago, the Lord revealed to me that LGBT activities are going to rise in Nigeria. I remember, I called for on prayers intercessors to pray against the fulfilment of that dream because that will be a direct invitation to the wrath of God upon Nigeria, if that dream of LGBT is fulfilled.
This is another! I am using this medium to call on intercessors to please pray that God will not allow the situations of Nigeria will not degenerate to the point that our girls will be given to unrestrained prostitutions. Also intercede for security. Intercede that LGBT activities will not escalate in Nigeria. Pray that prostitution and activities of Sodom and Gomorrah will not escalate in Nigeria.
Interpretation of the Dream Proverbs 30:8 8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
One of the reasons and excuses that people give for going into crime and sins, especially prostitution, is poverty. It will also be worthy of mentioning that one of the gross abominable acts during the days of Noah was sexual abominations, which include prostitution, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality and the such. However, the Lord, Jesus Christ, said such unrestrained abominable acts will repeat before his coming.
Luke_17:26 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
If we placed the dream under the binoculars of these two scriptures, we can conveniently infer the followings; -1. Sexual prostitutions, like as in the days of Noah, will skyrocket.
-2. Economic hardship that will push many into crimes and perversions, one of which is prostitution, may also become harsher.
-3. Many more sexual transmitted diseases, especially among commercial sex workers, will spring up.
-4. Sexual abominations of the days of Noah will resurface, rapidly.
In view of these, let us continue to pray for Nigeria that God will bring relief from this present economic crisis Nigeria going on. Let us also endeavor to help ourselves, especially the less-privileged people, campus girls, widows and the fatherless to avoid people going into prostitutions because of hardship and poverty.
-5. Jesus is coming. Stay ready in absolute repentance, holiness and watchfulness.
Rapture is, indeed, imminent.
Shalom. Rapture is a made-up pentecostal belief that is not taught in the bible. The bible teaches that Christ is coming back to reign upon the earth not to rapture Christians to heaven. |
