I did not write the bible neither did you. Jehovah appeared to Solomon 2x that is what the Bible says. If it were an angel it would have said so.

Genesis 32:30, Hosea 12:3-4, Psalms 8:5, Jacob saw and fought with Elohim (God's angel/Messenger) not the true Elohim, Jehovah.

(When your Messenger hands your letter to the your Workers, they will say we have heard from our Boss , is the Messenger their Boss?)

When you carefully study the good book from beginning to the end, you will see how people tried hard to mock God by exchanging the glory of the immortal God(without death) for other practices(religion & death-related atonement) ~Romans 1:22-23 & 25

But this is a logical standard;

*And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matt 19:16-17)*

In day to day activities. Those commandments.. shape the society well. So you can actually view an eternal life(if there is anything like that) by test running the commandments here on Earth.~ "near logical"

What does the death of Christ mean to you?

Even your own scriptures support my teaching that Jesus Christ /Jehovah is Saviour. Thanks for bringing up 1John4.14
