PoliticsRe: NA Bombardment In SW,FACTS and the position of the igbos. by tdayof(m): 2:11pm On Jul 31, 2016
Thewrath:
Firstly,as usual,I am responsible for how I write and not how you understand or interpret.

Why are there no pics yet?
We all know the Nigerian army and pictures are like bread and butter, they have pictures of killed boko haram terrorists, the Shiite Muslims killed during during protest and more.so why are there no pictures yet of the 114 and over another 100 militants killed during the air strikes?

There is only one possible reason I can think of why there are no pictures yet:
-it's obvious(in Emmanuella's voice)that Nigeria army have as usual gone to kill/displace innocent yorubas and other inhabitants of these communities, and are ashamed to upload pics.i know civilians always get caught in crossfires, but in a professional operation, the damage on innocent civilians are minimal, maybe a few deaths but certainly not the majority.but I can't say thesame for our NA.

Misconceptions of yoruba youths:
I actually do not support the activities of the militants, but I read online how these set of people boast/beat their chest about how they will deal with the militants, maybe because there is a mere commissioner assisting buhari or that a yoruba general ordered the air strikes or that they voted for change....make no mistake, buhari will not bait an eyelid to turn Lagos into a war zone as long as oil is involved, not even even osibanjo,or your obas can or will be able to do anything about it.my advice is pray and hope the militants give up,stop beating your chest, your people are dying.

The position of the igbos
This particular is just funny,I don't know about the opinion if my brothers in SE,but I will attempt speak for myself and others in SS.
Firstly:
-Whose land is the battlefield-yoruba's
-Whose land is being polluted-yoruba's
-Whose people are being killed/displaced-yorubas.
-Who is going to suffer military presence/intimidation-yorubas.
-Whose economic activities will be crumbled-yorubas.
-Who would be used as target practice-yorubas.
are the militants igbos-No
are the helicopters,guns,pipelines,igbos?-No
And many many more....

So why in the midst of crisis in your own land, you still find a way to drag the igbos in,they have absolutely nothing to loose...it's a win-win for the igbos, the average Igboman does not give a hoot what happens outside igboland,he may still not care even if it happens in igboland but doesn't affect his business.
so why will the igbos be pained/worried that you are fighting militancy when they have a much bigger problem to deal with.

When you guyz were rejoicing during the killing of unarmed biafra protesters,I bet you did not know a day like this will come when your supposed peaceful land will be turned into a war zone.well you shouldn't be surprised when others return the favour.
I advice you focus on getting rid of these militants and leave the igbos out of your miseries.
Bullshit
1- No civilian casualty except those loyal to the militants and you are an enemy of FRN.
2- It's now our land? I used to think Lagos is no man's land?
3- Take it or leave it. Your militants will be thoroughly dealt with on all soil that belongs to the the FRN.
4 - Yorubas need not your advise.

If a country is not united like in Nigeria, all of its military prowess you show here amounts to nearly nought, ineffective.

Without any standing armies, little Belarus, Estonia, Lituania, Latvia, etc, freed their nations from the old Soviet union that was like Nigeria where a few persons in the political class lived in wealth but consigned the majority to mere existential life.

Little East Timor also freed itself from the proponent Muslim country of Indonesia.

Why use military force to keep Nigeria for your lot to use political maneuverings to impose Islam on all?
Why agitate by destroying, kidnapping, raping and doing all other illegal activities?

That guy is a damn Liar. 12 military jets? So you mean all jets deployed to North East and those at SS/SE were deployed to Lagos? He should just shut up!

“The aircraft releasing the missiles had three short wings with a sharp mouth. It maintained a visible presence in the sky and anytime it wanted to fire, it flew down as if it was about to crash. I never knew the military had such a weapon.”
Those are obviously A-jETS. Still the best for ground attack we have got presently. To you all militants sympathizers. If A-jet is capable of doing this to your great militants, what will happen when the JF-17's arrive?

Death penalty for kidnapping in Nigeria. http://allafrica.com/stories/201605050113.html http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/05/05/senate-approves-death-sentence-for-kidnappers/

....... If you exchange gunfire with the military of a country in her own sovereignty, she has the right to defend and protect her troops with any possible asset. Even if it is about ordering a drone strike.

how does a bomb drop from air decide who is a millitant and who is not??
simple because the helo team sees where enemy firepower is coming from and then decide to lit the place up with some 12.7 or 30mm .

Using the aerial bombardment within a sovereign boundary is wrong. What does the military mean by terrain is not accessible by land and water ? How does the vandals access these places ? This is just lack of amphibious training by a lackluster Buhari militia. I am very sure very innocent poor women, kids and aged are among the dead.
Am sorry. Who told you using aerial bombardment in such area is wrong?
And for your information the helicopter there is capable of using guns and not just missiles. The defense HQ said there was no bombing ish.

army for shelling militant targets in ogun/lagos.But truth be told, some
militants will be killed but a huge number of indigenes will go in for it.
while i may be neutral on issues bw FG and militants bc of obvious dirty
politics that runs in Nigeria..i want to also caution us on the things we should
actually rejoice for.Fact is that since humans were given different languages,
religion and culture it will be very difficult for us to unite...
for instance there is virtually no presence of boko haram rhetorics bc a
northerner is there, and if i may ask where is Shekau?
same goes for militants who were hitherto not there during gej era ...
rather than fan the embers of tribalism lets unite and make Nigeria great just
like the very much diverse America.
shalom!
NOPE. That is not possible.

But if your bid to save face, you had to call Igbo so as not to sound fraustrated.

A resident, Nmadu Chionye, said: “We heard the gunshots and took cover. But when we contacted the security men, they told us they were in charge. We learned several persons were killed, but none can tell the exact number.”
The residents are your brothers tongue All militants won't be given any damn chance.

They were even scared of gunshots so they had to call the security agencies to come protect them. The same zoo security officials. Laughing in Chinese. grin grin

Who the hell is this? You guys always have something to say the the military is winning. Mr man go and sit down. The AF said there was no airstrike in such area.
Read below;

DHQ
Reacting to the development, Defence Headquarters, Abuja, said there was no aerial bombardment of the Arepo because of the critical infrastructure which involved oil and gas pipelines playing pivotal services to the nation’s economy.
Acting Director of Defence Information, Brig-General Rabe Abubakar, who gave the clarification last night, however, said what happened was that the military and security agencies, in a joint operation codenamed Operation Awathe, under the Command of the Defence Headquarters, carried out a normal security operation to wipe out pipeline vandals and oil and gas criminals bent on sabotaging the economic assets of the nation. He noted that there was no way the military could have bombarded the area because of the environmental damage that would also be inflicted on the area. Abubakar said: “Arepo is of critical importance to the nation and the infrastructure on ground has cost the nation huge resources to put in place. It is true we have received complaints and petitions about the activities of vandals and criminals causing problems and destroying pipelines and siphoning crude. “But the military did not and cannot bomb the critical economic infrastructure in place there.”

These nonsense pictures you're posting can NEVER be deployed in the creeks. The only workable option for the military is an air offensive which by the way is impossible because of the collateral damages that might be involved. The army's only choice is to use gunboats which has so far failed. The militants are well known to outmaneuver and ambush the army on several occasions.

Everybody knows how incapable the Nigerian Army has proven to be in the creeks.
Our OPV and frigate are capable of launching missiles or 127mm on the militants coordinate.

I never said it was bombed. Did I write the article? My opinion was that the military dealt with the militants. You do not expect bombs to be dropped in such area. However surgical airstrikes can be conducted.

In Ibadan and Oyo state, they are just too much. In lagos, infact, I'm speechless. Not to talk of other states. I am finding this uncomfortable. Is this really neccesary in Nigeria?
Radio stations can't jam each other. They operate on different frequencies
Wavelets cannot interfere with each other. They move linearly.
