slabyuk: Good Evening all. I will like to know if its possible to send your passport via courier to the visa processing office (not vfs) along with your passport request letter and have the visa stamped and sent back to you. Take for instance, all applications in middle east are processed in Abu Dhabi,Dubai. I applied online in a middle east country, did biometrics there, did medicals upfront and i intend traveling to Nigeria while my application is being processed, when i get passport request letter while in Nigeria, can i have my passport along with the passport request letter be sent by DHL to Abu Dhabi office for my visa to be stamped and have it sent back to me in Nigeria? Thank you Since you are yet to travel why don't you visit there office and have a chat with them in order to find out how things are done. I believe they're in the best position to advise you on what to do instead of seeking Epp here. I doubt it if anyone can answer you, however, if anyone has been under this situation before feel free to Epp. But bro my opinion is do the needful. Call them, email them. Canadian VO, ain't on this thread. Everything you read here are all about experiences, perception, exposure, feelings etc. It may/may not stand. If police can be your friend, VO will be your sibling. @All, IMO. |

lawmerchant: Like we've said before, police report is not required for study permit application unless the Visa Officer specifically requests for it. @lawmerchant I don't know why you think police report ain't necessary unless visa officer specifically requests for it. So visa officer will call you on phone, please brother so so n so, can you bring your police report, if they need another document they'll also call you to bring it. For everyone running their application listen, Nothing is necessary to submit and everything is necessary to submit. Go to cic website and read up documents to submit and provide every document that you think will get you your TRV, don't come here again to ask if this document is required or not. Submit what will get your Trv approved. Some submit few documents like my oga GeneralSnipper and get Trv approved, some submit every document like my madam Team12 and still receive their Trv. So it all depends on you and your God. The worst aspect is that if you are submitting through paper route during your pre-submission stage. If they discover any document that's required and it's not there, they won't complain or ask you to go and bring it, they'll just submit it for you like that. So be wise o. Finally, most questions here have been answered before now. Please try and read through previous posts and threads, it'll help you a lot. Thanks. Please all these are my personal opinion. No attack me ooh. |

livingseed: Hi opsyF, You might still need more clarity on it. But here is my small guess on what to fill under room and board, other and funds available for your stay.
Let's assume you pay $500 per month for room and you got $2000 per month for board. Then room (shelter) = 500x 2years = 12,000. Board ( eats, fares, keeps) = 2000 x 2years = 4000. Hence Room and Board = $16,000. The extra $10k should fall under Other. Overall, funds available for your stay = 33k(Tuition) + 16k(Room and Board) + 10k(Other) = $59k. Hope this helps a little. @opsyF, please in order not to put pressure in your account. It is advisable to show proof of 1 year living expenses including tuition, room n board. Limit everything to 1 yr but if you are OBO no problem you can show up to 5 years expenses no yawa. |

professorgome: The test you are about to write is called BRAIN TEASERS and has different parts as listed below:
1. General Questions = 94 2. Logical Reasoning = 131 3. Quantitative Analysis = 305 4. Verbal reasoning = 164 5. Current Affairs = 300+ 6. ICT = 14
The above is from the software. In all these they will select 50 to 60 questions at random. Because questions are selected at random, the question in my number 1 might be your number 60 as the case may be.
Now look at the ratio, out of 94+131+305+164+14+300+ = 1,008+. You will be required to answer only 50 or 60 from the 694 questions selected at random. That is why so many candidates fail.
What is your chance of making it to the interview and collecting the 10k transport? You need to see all or at least more than 90% of these questions.
I have extracted and arranged 1008 of these questions. If you need them drop your email or number, I will tell you how to get it from me. My date is 4 June, goodluck at the exam and interview. Please forward to nkem4chidi@gmail.com |

casie26: @ GeneralSnipper post
first of all, @GENERALSNIPPER congratulations if your post has iota of truth in it
1) I am a Guyman on my own independent entity, i can't watch you here to say only those documents got you TRV but as you said you used an agent have convincingly answered my doubts
2) for NEW FOLLOWERS on THIS THREAD that which he listed would never and ever get you visa,if you don't do the necessary documentation as it applies to your case.
3) i wouldn't want to lay emphasis on the ''ARRANGEE'' which i know his agent did but don't put up deceitful post which will mislead other genuine students that have no complexity in their timeline.
@TOLUWAASE
your opinion sends signal that your are NEW here. i will only agree to that post of his if he just finished UG study which i doubt, with those type of accounts of his stated, showed he is non of my above mentioned so invariably he should be at the working age of ours. if one is employed/working and during STUDENT VISA APPLICATION of canada and u failed to provide details of ur current employment with the actual documentation u will palatably be served on the tick box, PERSONAL ASSETS AND FINANCIAL STATUS and PURPOSE OF VISIT. i have been a silent follower and ghost reader on this thread. read part 4,5,6,7 to also educate yourself
i rest my case! Omo me tire for this your reasoning o. Y should you doubt someone who has his TRV already. Are you jealous or angry? Do you work with Vfs or Canadian embassy? Me tire o. Abi you want to snatch the Trv from him. Instead of you to say congrats and move on, you come dey criticise his already approved documents. Omo if you be VO many people for still dey naija here oh. My prayer is that your type will not touch or see my documents till my Trv land by then you can take Canadian embassy to court for giving me PR without TRV first. 2. New followers, pray to your God n submit the one and only true documents you have. Don't follow this our guy man (Cassie) to submit documents which when verified will put you in trouble, all in the name of satisfying Visa requirements as outlined by oga Cassie. Just believe in your God and pray. You don need to submit the whole documents in Nigeria b4 you get your Trv. Just be sharp n honest. 3. Talking about arrangee, where you their when the documents were arranged. I have problems with information without evidence. If you have evidence that it was arranged then I will go with you but if you don't i demand you apologize to GeneralSnipper for insulting him because that's an insult and if it's me I won't take it easy with you. Abeg, egbon Cassie I get general number. If you want the Trv you can hala me so that you'll arrest him and take the Trv. From what you said that you read part 4,5,6 etc and have been following silently. I'm quite disappointed with your line of reasoning and come to conclude that it's either you don't understand what you read or you didn't read anything at all and as result made conclusions based on your own perspective. I smell bad belle. Oga general sniper congrats. I tap into your testimony. God please answer my prayers. Over and out. |

GeneralSnipper: Oga Team16,
Na wa for you ooo. There is what is called 'risk tolerance' and I see clearly where you stand based on your comment on this issue. In my opinion and from my little experience, risk assessment is carried out to avoid future problems. So I'm a bit worried by your position. It's always important as you plan for the present to consider the effect/consequence of tomorrow. Some consequences do not mature until 20 years or more, while some can be early; either way there's always a reaction to our action's (positive or negative). What works for my friend might not work for me. I'm assuming that you just wanted to emphasise on staying positive and achieving what you can for now and allowing the future to take care of itself and not the other way round. Risks are not what we should joke with especially when we are planning.
I mean no harm here please just a candid advice. All the best as you package your documents for application. Thank God you're going to UNB. You will epp me with my Trv apps. I will be contacting you if I find anything confusing. Thanks |

Back to the issue demmypeters1 didn't tell anyone the reasons why he wants to embark on such journey as a result he alone knows what he want to achieve with it. I only commented cos my friend did same last fall n will start School this fall. Another dimension to it as you mentioned is does he want to get a PR from Canada? If he doesn't then he can find his way around. My personal opinion o. @Demmypeters1 OYO is your case o. No tell VO say na me talk. |

Arcayo: It's possible but not advisable, don't you think it will tell later when applying for postgraduate work permit or study permit extension? How do you explain that you enter Canada without resuming for your studies a whole year but you are working? Am not in Canada oo and never seen anybody in that situation b4 but I believe am making sense. So is it advisable that he should not go at all because of fear of "what will happen when applying for postgraduate work permit". Bro, IMO, always forget what will happen later. Do what you think will make you succeed. When people talk about risks, how do you define risk? My guy is balling in Ontario now and has saved up enough money to start school this fall. Conquer your fear bro. Life is all about risks. @demmypeters1 follow your heart. Everything is possible if you can believe it. Just go for it. |
