Applied 26th May 2016 with Upfront Medical

June 23rd 2016, I received a medical call and was afraid because it seems those people at the Village don wake up. I enter midnight prayer o. Fasting and everything. Finally, on the 1st of Aug I received a medical passed message after linking my application on the 29th of July to see medical required after I sent a copy of my upfront medicals many times to Accra Immigrations on, so sharpaly, I sent a case specific enquiry to them, went on twitter and sent mails to accraimmigrations again, so by the 1st of August, I passed my medicals, 2nd August my TRV was approved.

Medical Passed: 1st August, 2016

TRV approved: 2nd August, 2016

I’m waiting for my passport to get to Nigeria from Ghana but me don book flight keep down before airfares reach 3million.

Since you have submitted your application, you can't do anything again. You have to wait till they call you for medical because in the medical form, you will be given a number with which you will do the medicals against. If you do it now, it'll be difficult to link it up. My thoughts o. Don't quote me.

Pgd/Pgc guys, I think you guys should go on twitter and call them out. I did same and got answers to my enquiry. Guys don't keep quiet o. Do something. Bug their mails, i don’t think it would have effect on your applications.

I did Upfront and i got a medical mail..

When i got to the hospital the doctor gave me an updated medical form different from the one i used during application, he told me to quote the e-Medical no. from d hospital U01**** number then i should quote my IME no.s, application No. and the likes and the doctor told me to go to vfs to ask for the email address to send it to.

I called VFS d next day.. the said i should address it to accra immigration after telling them I applied for work permit..

four (4) days after Accra Immigration replied me and said I should forward the Mail to Lagos which is did since 12th July.

I dont know if my account has been updated because.. I have been trying to link my application online for the past 6 days consecutively and I have not been successful.

Can any one help me with Linking an open work permit

I was using "work permit and extension" for sub-category at first it never scaled through.. I was advised by a fellow NLander.. to change the sub-cateogry to "International Experience Canada".. I have done it for days.. still not linking

If u didn't quote the hospital unique number giving to u and your application number and IME and UCI numbers please resend stating those information..

If u dont have an updated e-medical form pls go back and get it from the hospital... bcuz the updated e-medical form states the date that your result was sent to CIC.. which will be easier to trace..

Yea, I was given the same form which i used in mailing them since on the 24th June, I linked my application on the 29th July to still see my medical is required on my application. That's my confusion.

bro/sister this actually make me detest incompetency in the manner of which cic whether accra or not handles applications.in this ur situation,since you had done upfront and they sent you another medical mail again,in my suggestion i think you should go to the hospital where you did that upfront,for them to send it to CIC/Accra directly. One can't just start mailing a document to accra immigration if they don't ask or if they'v not responded to ur request to upload any document/send additional docs.my input though.

Meehn, this wait is killing o. I hope Cic is aware that airlines are not smiling. See the way Ethiopian airline move from 200k to 700k and we still dey july. By next month only God knows what will happen. Cic there's God. This one dollar is just smiling and move up n up. God help us oh.

Hello @bosypumpin, I actually got to know those facts by going through the threads. You can check from part 1 to this part. I mentioned that approval mail drops on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am sure the ladies got their mail today (Wednesday). If there is anyone who got a medical call or a refusal, it must have been on a Monday or Friday, rarely Thursday's. You can calculate it using the @rheginarh and @aishate Success stories . Check the dates on a calendar. Thanksno

Please how long does it take for Accraimmigrations to reply to mails sent to them. I have mailed them since Friday yet no tangible reply from them just the auto comfirmation mail. Also paper route how long does it take for your medical mail to be updated after doing your medicals and will I get a mail notifying me about the update. Thanks

I think I responded to something like this some couple of days back when I shared my experience as to the fact that it is possible you have to send a mail to accraimmigrations to answer your queries or proceed to do a fresh medical test.

I wonder how @thesoj , @tinuola and @thebae will be feeling wherever they at the rate peeps here just ask question and do not bother reading so as to arm themselves with right hand experience of others. To think some are going for graduates studies in Canada and behave this way?
It is annoying to say the least. Little wonder the former gurus do not bother coming here to render help.

However, I have been on this thread to know questions that have been answered and have not been answered. The last question relating to m that was answered was on a guy that did his medicals last year and b4 Sept it would have expired hence he's required to do another medical that will be valid. My own case is a fresh application, fresh as in Virgin and i submitted it with an upfront medical done in the month of may 2016. So tell me 'vexer' how my case relates to the previous case mentioned, also if you can point to me where this my particular case has been answered i will also appreciate it but if you have no solution to my problem please don't insult me, just look away.
