Congratulations op! Would you be willing to help with steps you took to achieve this feat. I intend to pursue a PhD in mechanical engineering. Thanks in advance.

There are no major steps. The only thing you need to is to look for a supervisor and indicate your interest. That's all you need to do.

Boss, Happy weekend.

I like to know more about the scholarship, you mentioned,i graduated with 2.2,cgpa is above 3.0,i like you to help me with information on all available scholarships to study in Canada for such grades, since you are experienced and already there presently, just any scholarship both full funding and half funding.

Thank you.

I don't know of any for your grade. However, go through the websites and speak with the admissions officers.
Travel / Re: Masters Degree In Canada Or NYSC Program? by Team16(m): 6:01pm On Jun 15, 2017
As a student presently in Canada, I'll advise you to start both process and run it concurrently. I am not wishing you bad or evil but it took me 2yrs to get an admission in Canada. Your case might be different because you have a sponsor and in that case you might pick any admission and come to Canada but I was applying for admission with Scholarship. However, Canadian admission is not automatic. Put in the period you have to wait for admission, receive your admission letter and apply for Visa. My own story, Admission took me 2yrs, Visa took 3 months. Then the window of denied visa or approved visa, whichever is your case. Like I said earlier, i am not wishing you bad but based on my experience I'll advise you while you apply for your admission, also enroll for your Nysc. Whichever comes first go for it. Never miss any opportunity in life.

So start applying for admissions immediately, get your admission, apply for your visa and get it. The worst case scenario you can differ your admission till next term. It is not an issue here. THE ISSUE HERE IS TO GET YOUR VISA. Every other thing is moi moi case.

You do not need to know if other people have gone through this cos in my view it's of no help to you
If you were asked to come with your Kaya, carry your Kaya go. If they want to verify your details, u go and verify them. No biggie, unless u lied. If you didn't then no reason to panic

Not panicking, I don't need to. I wanted to know if anyone has been under this condition and the reason why it was requested. It is called being informed. I'm cool girlfriend. I don't panic.

Education / Re: I Need Help. (UTME: 308 Last Year And 305 Again This Year But I'm Frustrated) by Team16(m): 7:57pm On May 25, 2017
Meissner:
I chose university of Ibadan last year but wasn't admitted because my 8year old WAEC result has Cs in my core subjects.
I chose LASU as second choice but wasnt admitted too.
The UTME score of 308 just wasted.

I have just gotten 305 in this year's UTME again but I dread wasting it like last year's.

I need medicine admission. Kindly suggest federal or affordable state universities where my chances of admission is pretty high with the available grades and scores.

Again if you are someone or know someone or know someone that knows someone who can help. Kindly prevent this long conceived dream from dieing.
Thanks.

Mods kindly assist by pushing this thread to FTP
.

My advice to you is to stop killing your dreams in that country. Register for SAT and TOEFL ace it and you can go to anywhere in the world to study with full funding. Nigeria might mess up your dreams. Guess what buddy THEY DON'T CARE.

they normally collude with unscrupulous staffs of the major telecoms company, let me explain, once they target an account they want to hit, the number that the account holder recieves alert is the number they will divert, all text messages and calls will never get to the account holder's phone but to the syndicates phone, once they succeed in clearing an account, the bank insider that supplied the info will collect between 20 and 30% of the loot, the telecom company staff, it could be m.t.n, glo, etisalat or airtel, that helped to divert the phone number will collect 10 - 15%, the syndicate will share the rest. and lest i forget the b.v.n have been heavily compromised by corrupt bankers, i know people operating 10 accounts with different names and with different b.v.n numbers.

Hmmmmm, you just said it all. From what the bank is telling me, they used mobile banking platform with my phone number to hack my account and that the BVN of the culprit has been circulated bank wide. And from what you are saying about multiple BVN, it means they will not catch the criminals and my money is gone because the bank said they have to catch the criminals first and then make them refund me. Meaning if no catch then no refund. Interesting. Let's see how my lawyer handles it sha. Thanks for the info.

what exactly do you want to know?

The part of getting alert or no alert. I received email alerts not phone alerts. Because I don't use my line anymore.

this is classic resemblance fraud, with inside collusion, let me explain, insider will print out all info and image of the targeted account holder with a colour printer, he will then hand over the sensitive info to his partners in crime, especially those syndicates operating in mushin, shomolu, and oluwole axis. with this info all the syndicates need do is to shop for somebody who look like the account holder, or nearly look like the account holder so that slight make up can be done by a profesional make up artist, before then they must have mastered how to sign your signature know your date of birth maiden name and most important your phone number to hold it, but in o.p's case they did not because he got alert on transaction from his bank if not he would have kissed his monies good bye. less i forget they also have insiders in all the gsm telcos. all what they need do is to walk into your bank sign the neccessay documennts and wahla, your money don go be that.?

Please can you explain further. Let me understand what you mean. Thanks

hello i got a feedback from gtb on twitter on ur behalf, they need to get intouch for more details. u need to open a twitter account asap and drop the handle so that they can reach u

The only feedback is to direct her to send her enquiries to the fraud unit of the bank. I have been on this for days now, nothing concrete is coming out of it. They gave me the email to forward my complaint to and nothing has been done about it.
