Yes ambode cancelled the deal cuz it apparently doesn't pay him and he has the power to.. for whatever reasons which pleases him.. If Tony is not happy.. he should go to asaba and go and do the deal with delta state governor... he cannot come to Lagos and come and be dictating terms here....and still abt the ports the FG up till 3 months ago was an southeast/southsouth man for 6 years.. if his constituency did not deem it fit to advocate for ports then.. That's their cup of tea.. but I will tell u that it makes no sense to dredge onitsha port.. it is not a sea port.. cuz I av asked u what sea it borders but u have no answer! If you even say calabar ports, I can even try and understand but at what cost and to what benefit? And abt companies domiciling where they operate.. Lagos has the infrastructure, instead of putting ur governors to task, u come here and insult south west governors.. That's y truck loads of u arrive from the south east to come and burden the infrastructure put up by our govts.. our housing, our hospitals, our schools.. wtf go back to the east and put ur governors on their toes alexlee50: I would overlook your rudeness and talk issues.read the story again, it is ambode who is not satisfied with the deal that is canceling the deal. And this is not because the deal is a bad deal but because his god father tinubu wants the deal and wants to discredit fashola.its just politics.eventually elumelu may still carry on with the project, most likely after under the table settlement of tinubu and ambode.u think they cancelled the project because there was fraud? Or they mean well for Lagos state? U don't know anything then.this is for their own settlement. Watch and see how it sorts itself out.if eventually elumelu doesn't even carry out the project, watch and see the company that finally does the project. On the ports, there is a deliberate policy by the federal goverment to use only tin can and apapa ports.if warri ports and other ports in the niger delta are dredged to accomodate very big vessels, trust lagos would become history. If the oil companies are compelled to move to their areas of operation, this your mouth would shut up.but like I said earlier, lagos is our commercial capital let's leave it that way. |

U don't seem to get the point... u said Lagos State is putting up nothing other than the Land.. that land is everything.. if Tony doesn't like the terms of the contract, he is free to move to Asaba.. simples.. and u lie abt the ports.. SE is landlocked... Go to geography class, u won't.. Lagos borders on the Atlantic.. want to know wut sea borders the SE that will warrant a sea port ( not south south o). .. and don't tell me onitsha... Go and look at the geography properly and comeback here to tell me wut sea port FG should build and what purpose it will serve.. thx... alexlee50: Are u an ethnic chauvenist? Anyway most developed cities you see today where not built by indegenes of those but strangers who came to such places and invested in those places. The way nigeria is structured, Lagos is the commercial capital of nigeria, the sea ports are these, the airports are there, companies coming to nigeria must come to Lagos first.we as nigerians have accepted it and have come to develop lagos state with these investment pouring into ogun and oyo state.now if the federal government dredges the water at the warri port, completes the one at onitsha and makes goods bound for the east that such ships should go to the east then those going to the south south should go to warri.what do u think would happen to tin can and apapa port? What if oil companies were asked to relocate their headoffices back to the regions were they operate, what do u think would happen to properties of chevron, mobil and others in v.I and lekki? U think people are investing in lagos because it is yoruba land?let us all like elemelu has done accept lagos as the commercial capital of nigeria and let us develop it.elumelu sees himself as lagosian than any other place first and foremost.stop spreading hate and disharmony. For your information, elemule is kwale not ibo from delta state.

Don't mind him, sit in geography class and learn they will not.. he thinks that cuz of that small river Niger, they can get a sea -port.. Lagos is unique, it borders on the Atlantic sea and that's why it has that kind of sea port.. SE is a landlocked region.. South south not rly.. wasiudvd: You mean they should relocate the sea to the Southeast? or you wanted to say southsouth? And for Airport, Even the one in Enugu and Asaba is underutilized. |

What will you have done if you are the president of Nigeria and a high-profile terrorist gains entry to the country with a forged passport and a different name ?
The simple fact that he was detected at the Beirut airport is an indictment on the Nigerian immigration system that issued that visa. If he can be detected despite using a forged passport with different name at the airport, then the system that wrongfully issued him such visa needs to be investigated. |

Op it's called dysmenorrhea, some pple have it that bad.. if it's so bad, she can go born.. it helps cuz the uterus will distend during pregnancy.. and the contractions during her monthly flow will be less severe.. also they can do somethings to her endometrium.. since she is married, na to get pregnant and born be her main solution.. thx martyns303: Let me start by giving you guys a brief description of where I stay as it is a vital cue to this story.
I live in a compound with other flats, where the shortest conversation between neighbours is "good morning" and the longest is "please come and move your car, I want to go out". It is the kind of compound where you go to bed with your generator on, only for you to wake up in the morning to find out that there had been light all through the night, and your neighbours had turned off their Gen without telling you. Don't tell me about the pains of child birth, there is nothing more painful than looking at your fuel gauge like "my precious". By now you guys get the message, in pidgin "nobody send you".
Now back to me, I had just concluded a professional course and was just sitting at home waiting for something to come up, that is just a fancy way of saying am jobless. But I am not searching for one, so all you NL scammers gats stay off. Without anything to do, I sit at home watching movies, and just lazing around. "My grandma just died and I am the man of the house", actually my grandma died a long time ago, I only just got my own place now. With me staying at home while everyone else in the compound goes to work or a few people that don't, I see everything that goes on, making me the all seeing eye (nope I am not affiliated to the illuminati).
A couple of months ago a young couple moved into the compound, the girl looks 25 max while the guy looks 28, they seem happy and in love, but at least once every month I will hear the girl crying profusely, I would hear her crying and lamenting, saying things like Jesus ooo, God oooo, ehhhhhhh, God please help me, I can't take this anymore, ewoo, etc then I would hear her snapping her fingers. I am probably the most soft hearted male, cos I would be feeling really sad, I don't know what a soul is, but I feel really depressed and saddened in my soul each time. If you have watched titanic, the part where Jack placed Rose on the floating stuff, you can't control the tears rolling down ur cheeks or standing in your eyes, and that's how I feel hearing this girl cry like that. Sometimes her sister would come and this has been going on for months.
Two days ago, I heard the wife crying again, and since my compound is where no one cares, nobody has ever bothered to go in and ask what's happening, but I have had enough and was ready to confront the guy, i am going to give him a piece of my mind and Damn the consequences, so on this day I walked into their flat, the parlour door was open so I just walked in, on getting in, I found the girl in pants and bra, with wrapper half way her stomach, the guy is sitting by her side with a side stool, on the floor are packs of medication, bottled water, what looks like custard and other stuffs. When I walked in that wasn't the sight I was expecting, I had hoped to see the guy beating the living day light out of his fiancee, and me yelling at him to stop. I may have been frozen for like 15 secs while I absorb what's going on. I managed to say a weak sorry, turned around and walked out. The guy followed me immediately and asked what I wanted, I explained to him how I had heard his fiancee crying and wanted to make sure she is ok. "She is fine, thanks for your concern" then walked away, I know he is pissed at me walking into their apartment like that, and even the worst, seeing his woman like that. Damn what was I thinking sef!
When I got back to my flat, the movie felt sour, couldn't concentrate on anything, all I could think of is how I am going to compose my words and apologize to the guy and his fiancee. This morning I saw him washing his car, so I walked up to him and started reciting my memorized apology. Planning is the key people, cos with the way I said what I said it hit him cold. The guy started explaining what's going on to me without me even asking. Apparently that's how the fiancee gets into pains whenever it's that time of the month for her, he said the pains could be excruciating for her. He said it's a part of her he's only getting to know as they only moved in together a few months ago, he has advice her going to see a doctor but she rebuffed the idea saying it is a normal thing. He explains how he goes through sleepless nights, boiling water and putting it in a plastic bowl with cover so she can place it on the stomach, buying pain relieves, he mentioned quite a bit of pain relieves, but that they seem to do little. He felt bad cos he is now of the idea that the rest of the neighbors may also have the perception of him being an abusive guy without knowing what's going on, told me he had to take days off from work sometimes to stay with her and when he can't, her sister comes around.
In my attempt to be nice, I had promised to find a solution to his problem. Don't blame me, at that moment I just want to be nice and get myself out of the mess I got in and appear a good friend.
So please, if there is anyone out here who knows why this guy's fiancee is going through so much pains, and if it's normal, are there home remedies, herbs or medical prescriptions that could help her situation, please help a brother out. Dankie!!!
