Do you mind stating the amount for fully coupled 135ah @24v & 12v respectively?

If one is going for 24v route, does one need battery balancer and dedicated 24v LFP charger?

TBB 1.6KVA-24V has 25A charger, is this sufficient to charge the above battery capacity?

TBB 1.2KVA-12V has 40A charger, if one decide to go 12v route, is dedicated LFP still needed?


Please answer above questions respectively.

In addition to what @odimbannamdi said above, for battery you can save up to get LFP like the coupled ones @Valto sells.

You sure would need PSW inverter rather than MSW especially if you run sensitive appliances that have Motor e.g Refrigerator, Freezer, Blender, Washing Machine etc.

The gurus have more to say.

Such comment is what RE newbies need to make purchase from any seller.

I implore other sellers to emulate @Valto's positive step based on RE.

Sellers should note that even if a client bought something valued at 1000, such client has the tendency to purchase or even refer clients to purchase goods valued 1,000,000. But if the first deal went wrong, then the possibility of getting purchase worth such amount from that client in question is already thrown out.

There's a reason why good/reputable name is better than ill gotten wealth.

@valto to increase sales on your LFP batteries, I suggest you create FAQs and post it here AND also build a website where you can list prices of all your items.

I thought it's just 100ah/105ah & 230ah LFP you sell, don't know you even sell 150ah.

Many more will purchase from you but are tied down due to one or two reasons.

The truth is you MUST have high patronage on your LFP batteries, but you should equally be able to invest in tech-based advancement.

What you are doing now (box) is mechanical.

Quite an ambiguous market! You're simply getting value for what you paid for as 80% using same lithium brand don't basically complain >> they serve them as some of my customers share their review.

This may be true for now, but don't be surprised when people like @valto and other DIY couplers competite with Felicity in the next 10 - 15years.

What it takes for such to manifest is more awareness about the benefits and slight pitfalls associated with LFP in terms of BMS positive limitations.

What will it profit an enterprise of such magnitude to make 10 million profit annually and faced with huge competition from individuals that will threatened their sales/profit in 15 years time?

Is it not better they tell buyers the truth even at a cost that's in conformity with the current market price range?

Maybe it will be better you enlighten me and other newbie more on the specific DOD your sundry LFP can give and how long it will take to charge, with stated chargers/BMS etc?

As I read in the manual that 200A DC Fuse is required for this "1.2KVA-12V Energier Pro TBB Inverter (CF1240L)".

you are supposed to plug the load on the 2 different meters you have..and then compare with the devices energy name plate.

example:
Panasonic steam iron 2400w sticker
1. binatone coolguard -- 1800w
2, 2nd meter ------ 2350w

by the time you do this for a series of devices, you would deduce which is closer/accurate.

2ndly at bolded, either you wrote this wrong or understood it wrong

HP 620 Laptop = 48.7W - 68.5W {
1hr = 0.050KWh (i.e. 50W in one hour)
2hrs = 0.081KWh (i.e. 81W in one hour) --------------- if your wattmeter displayed this after 2hours, then you shud divide the kwh by time in hours to get the average consumption, which in this case should be 40.5watts and not 81 watts u wrongly state there, same goes for the other appliances you used wrong maths for there
3hrs 37mins = 0.132KWh (i.e. 132W in one hour)

I wrote it wrong initially, below are the correct one.

2hrs = 0.081KWh (i.e. 81W in two hours)
3hrs 37mins = 0.132KWh (i.e. 132W in 3 hours 37minutes)

0.132Kwh / 3.37 (i.e 3 hours 37minutes) = 0.040KWh.

From your explanation it means the average consumption is 0.040KWh.

I recall that the Binatone CoolGuard I got was similarly imaccurate for watt consumption - I tried it vs various meters and known loads and it dissappoonted me each time so I threw it in the bin wherein I keep dissappointments.

Possibly it may prove to be more accurate with larger loads up to or above 1000watts but I never did that test

I got below readings with "Binatone ACG-1500 Cool Guard"

1. Scanfrost Steam Iron rated (1100W - 1300W) displayed 1200W

2. Russel Hobbs Steam Iron rated (2400W) displayed 1800W

Yes am in the COST screen. Currently laptop reads shows 60.1W @ 207.1V * 0.463A * 0.61PF = 58.5W

I did not check power factor of others with the Meter

Note: I put this in energy saving mode and without energy saving (i.e Off) to get above reading

I did the test separately and got same result. This is the third time am doing this test now.

Watts Meter shows 0.302Kwh at 4hra 37mins usage. It also show High current draw of 95.4W and low current draw of 67.5W.

since you are in Lagos, you should get it directly from there office so that the settings can be edited for you, you don't need the external display if you have the correct settings uploaded at the point of purchase

Am in Benin City not Lagos. What should be the correct settings for 105AH LFP & 230AH LFP like the one @Valto couples?

They both uses "120A JBD bms" as he stated.

small tbb inverters do not have any display on them, but they sell external display meter through which you can edit the settings and look at the inverter information. Read it can be integrated online through raspberry pi.

I will be going for LFP + 1.2kva tbb, since BMS is included in the setup, do I still need external display meter before I can edit the settings?

the running wattage of my fridge is around 150w while the surge is 520w which is almost X4 of the running wattage.
According to the picture you posted, the running wattage of your fridge should be around 195w with the surge going up to around 800w which any decent 1.2kva inverter should chest comfortably. That is the reason I suggested the Tbb as I am sure it will serve you.

Boss, finally got Watts Meter, attached contain running watts readings from two devices.

Binatone Cool Guide display 156W, while Watts Meter display 79.5W both are the running watts.

Considering the Fridge is rated 0.9a with 220v - 240v, which device reading should be correct?
