Jefferyzz: It's been over 6months can't recall the exact month. Warranty card came with it but I doubt they av repair centers in Lagos... My variant is 2.5kva. the 2.4kva is a different type.. check d first image. My type is the second image. I used to av 1.5kva Inverter and immediately put on my pumping machine, d inverter wont stop noise with red light blinking till I off it. Even though the calculated power draw on paper is 550w.. one thing is for sure. My pumping machine consumes more. As regards the conversion. I only trust wat my BMS reads. I currently av my freezer on with 2 phones plugged in. My freezer is 110w type. My BMS read 125w power draw. I switch off my panels so I could get the accurate reading. How do you intend to handle this if something happens? What is the continues draw for your variant for 3.5kva |

zeestone99: We have Snadi 3.5kva wall mount. Comes with decent idle consumption, priority setting mode (battery and inverter), can set lvd(low voltage disconnect) up to 23v - 275k
Call/chat - 08117398294 to order I would have contacted you on this earlier, just that the efficiency & surge rating is a bit low considering other things I intend to power when the pump is off (one inverter freezer, one normal freezer, one fridge with few lights, led tv). Hello house below is our recently installed pump spec with depth of 180FT.
I need 3.5kva 24v/48v inverter with toroidal transformer and at least 2x surge rating.
kindly recommend inverter that can carry this pump.
Name: ASTRAL submersible motor Type: 4SD1100S Horsepower = 1.5hp Voltage = 220v Current = 8.8a 45uf/450v Power = 1.1kw Frequency = 50hz Cos 0.93 |

Jefferyzz: I use crown Ricco inverter n it handles heavy load 5n. Fan doesn't kick in until u av up to 50% load on it plus d fan is not loud, the transfer inside is toroidal. The 2.5kva variant is around 130/140k 3.5kva is 170k. The surge rating is 3x the actual inverter rating. It has MCB built on the AC input n output. The idle power consumption is less than 30w.. 26-28w thereabout. It has 30a AC charger as well. I don't use the AC charge so I don't no aw good that part of the inverter is. Aside that, every other thing is ok. How long have you been using this inverter and what is the warranty? I saw online that Crown Micro Ricco RIS 2.4KVA is 1440W(i.e 60% capacity 2400kva * 0.6 Efficiency= 1440W ). Could it be the reason your 0.75hp(0.55KW) pump was showing 53% usage? I like the idle consumption of it and the surge rating for the 3.5kva, but don't know if it can carry 1.5hp pump. |

Jefferyzz: Depending on d result he got from the test. He can always buy one more authentic 330w or 350w. I once got 3 of these type of 400w thinking I jam lottery cause of the cheap price. Max av seen on my dc watt meter is 910w. None the less. My charge controller at times will show daily harvest of 4kw when I'm home using freezer tv n others. My battery dey full daily. So he should just zero his mind n get 1 more 330w panel if 600wh is not enough to charge his battery. Is it your green "Techfine mppt" that's doing this? |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by TechGeek777: 12:03pm On Mar 26, 2023 |
You can't buy 380W/400W Jinko at that price. 380W Half-Cut Jinko is 114k/115k. Please return the panel and buy same felicity "IVPS1512" 1.5KVA(i.e. 1200W) 12v. Note: I read and watch videos where this inverter idle consumption is 9W - 12W max which is pretty cool. If you are on budget buy Yingli 450W * 2, else buy Jinko 400W/450W if available. Rita AGM 200Ah or Ask @Valto if he still has 135ah Lifepo4. Above are my two cents. Assuming I wanted to power just lights, tv led and fridge, I would have gone for same setup. But I needed to power something bigger for future biz project, hence it will still take me some time. osayuwamwen: I bought this 85k |

I spot a DBA here. I once thought Oracle DB 10g - 11g on diff platforms(Windows, Linux & Sun Solaris) several years ago. GloriousGbola: The ups cost like 250k to fix if I recall, and the enterprise oracle server went down. Because one poorly trained security guard saw power in an isolated server room.
In hindsight, who knows all the stunts those guys had been pulling on the ups powered circuits.
When mtn came to Nigeria, they enacted a policy of changing all ups outlets to German schuko because office workers were connecting boiling rings to the UK flatpin ups outlets
Abuse of ups/inverter by end users is a real problem |

GloriousGbola: first of all, you need to establish a mail trail
not just phone call.
so if this issue is not resolved you can put lagos and national consumer protection agency in copy
this is another fly by night hustler company by the looks of it. no executive board on the homepage. usually a call or mail to the ceo or oga at the top straightens this out
if you have sm clout, you acan also go for the shaming on twitter. after you have demonstrated that all else has failed
you could even do the same with NL - if it gets pushed to FP.
they do not like negative publicity.
the problem however is that this may be a shit product that will still fail again. you can also consider going to their warehouse. they may have actual repairs there.
it is possible the marketer is doing all he knows - a canned response This can bring any top company down. |

Sorry bro, please get well soon. Thanks for more enlightenment, maybe I didn't really read what you wrote with deep understanding. I always put regular users who contribute to this thread in my to-do list of those whom I will purchase from before some random sellers who just post adverts here. @Valto I still have in you mind to purchase pack from you. May I also stress how you "Valto" have answered numerous questions I asked you without complaint. I have deleted mantims from my contact. viperVIP: After being struck by malaria and not having the strength to type, I had to force myself having read what @techgeek777 wrote, on seeing @Valto's explanation, I felt relieved only to see that @techgeek777 still don't get it.
The mantims guy is a scam! I have bought both cells and packs severally from @Valto, no issues at all, he sells Grade A verifiable from the QR code. I've had to peel off the cover on one of his cells to see if there's a trick underneath but all came out fine.
I have no idea what grade this @mantims sells, but definitely not a veritable sales, I began suspecting him when he said he doesn't like selling cells, only built packs which he doesn't expect or want you to open. What's he hiding He gave 3 years warranty, ofcourse used cells will survive this under moderate use, digging deeper into some of his advertised pictures on here, I found out the QR codes are absent.
If you have taken time to learn on YouTube from those who has bought the good and bad ones, you will understand more. |

Valto: nawaoo, did u even read or understand what was written on the chats at all? that a seller in Nigeria is trying to justify why he imports cheap cells without qr codes., he is trying to justify why he goes for cheaper disassembled cells and u are here applauding him for opening your eyes there is grade A cells bro, don't fall for his write up. until he starts importing EVE, LISHEN, REPT, CATL cells like 280ah/230ah/160ah/105ah cells that comes with proper verifiable QR codes, not cheap disassembled catl, Calb and other unknown brands he is known for. I read it bro, he said No Grade A when he bought at that time, he also said there's no grade A anywhere that we can argue till they kingdom come, that all new cells in the market are Grade B & C. I believe experts here who have actually purchased from you will be in better position to counter Martin's claim of unavailability of grade A cell (i.e if yours is grade A or B). |

viperVIP: My last chat with a dude from here, mantims, the Jos guy when I needed an affordable DiY LIFEPO4 pack.
Y'all should do your due diligence before patronizing anyone please. Don't be penny-wise This is wonderful, Felicity should be apologized to for the constant bashing they received here for selling grade B. So all the Grade A real capacity constantly advertised here are not actually grade A. Nigerians should take it easy, people struggle to feed family, save money at same time just to have steady power supply, only for some greedy persons to deceive them because they know not much about the products. We are indeed in a perilous time. Thanks @viperVIP for this eye opener! |

Can't tell, but things like how hot the room is, voltage supply etc will determine that. Note: If you will be going for normal AC, you are better off with non-hybrid inverter with separate CC. |

Can someone please tell me how many kWh this AC will consume.
(First image is an inverter AC, second image is a normal AC)
Also, I want to learn solar system design and installation, if there is someone that offer such services in Port Harcourt, I am willing to pay. The first inverter AC will consume 1321W initially before dropping to 824W when good cooling level is reached, while the second non-inverter AC will maintain 1200W or more irrespective of the cooling level attained How many hp are these ACs? |

Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by TechGeek777: 1:00pm On Mar 09, 2023 |
From recent videos I have watched, they said latest/recent Felicity charge controller are built not to take power from your battery at all, this means you can only use the CC when there's pv available. Also, when there's cloud The CC will be showing fault mode if the pv is not sufficient to power the CC. At night the CC WON'T display at all, and from the videos the CC wakes up at about 7am. So your CC is doing perfectly fine. The motion is to conserve battery. All modern Felicity CC now have this feature embedded. adrusa: For the felicity crew in the house, I need some help and information.
I bought a new 120A Felicity Charge Controller yesterday, but it appears to be working differently from the previous one I have. I expect the Charge Controller to come up when I connect it to battery, but it does not. It only came up after I connected the panel. However, once it is dark, the controller died again. It woke up again this money once the sun came up.
The previous one wakes up even in the middle of the night when I press the on/menu button.
Can anyone with recent Felicity Charge Controller please share their experience with me.
Thanks. |

NiyiOmoIyunade: Lightning can strike in the absence of rain and even during the day too.
One would need a direct line to the gods to predict when lightning could strike and also be present to effect a safe system disconnect in advance.
A working solar system should have at least the minimum protection - at least 2pcs of 6 foot earth rods sunk in the ground 18 feet apart and bonded together and the solar panel frame/rack and charge controller earth point solidly connected to the rods.
At worst the panels/rack frame should connect straight to the rods while there is another cable service from the rods into the house terminated at a busbar or similar arrangement to earth the CCs to. The solar professor, I hail oh. Thank goodness say person no carry dictionary to grab this! |
