Ricky Rozay: Visa Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't shout ooooooooooooo.. I will be back with the Full Gist.......Ricky all the way. Congrats dude |
asemota osazuwa: i have a qus to ask? if u are giving a date in your i20 that u should report to the school by less say 1 of october and u only have one week left to the date they told u. and u went ahead and book adate .which fell on th 7 of october can u still go to the school or has it expired?.Write your program director at the school for possible extension of your resumption date telling them your case. At worse, you will be advised to defer the admission or your request be granted. |
asemota osazuwa: i just want to thank God for wat he has done despite the fact that i was not given the visa but all thanks be to god the vo that interview me was a woman. she was very wicked she did not even wait for me to give him my details he just collected my document and told me no that i have not paid my sevis. meanwhile i have already paid my sevis.just because i did not pay in time she told me no .but i will be going for another interview by God grace , next month Newbie! Did you just quote the message? Asemota Osazuwa Sydney!!!!!! Don't ask me further questions ooo. Lmao |
Amefrica: My Interview Experience..Hahahahahha! If I catch you ehn!! I was even dancing here and saying; this guy is so so smart. Anyways, a man cannot live above his thoughts because the ways he is, is the way he thinks. I pray that your testimony will surpass the one stated above. One love |
bigfrancis21: This life is not what it seems. At times the help we need the most won't come from family members or relatives and God will send you help in form of a total stranger totally unrelated to you who will understand you perfectly and be more than a brother to you.Francis, you are right to a large extent and GboyegaD is also right. I want us to know that whatever will be, will surely be provided that God is still on his throne of mercy and love. A close friend (classmate) of mine in Illinois cheated me of my GRE money and I had to go extra mile in making another payment through a lecturer (In TTU) that taught me for just a month in my final year. All in all, if one person fails or doesn't want to help you, God will raise others willing to help you even for free provided it is his (God) will for you. Let us always pray for friends, families, enemies, etc. and their plans whatsoever will always be in our favour. |
kwizzy212: I have no problem making the payment before collecting the money.. I am just afraid to lose my money... Maybe we should do this send me your username on NL a copy of passport and i20 then if I Make the payment you then pay my money.. At lest I would know who I am dealing withOkay. FYI, I was speaking in the voice of other members of the house. I am not ready to make the payment as I have deferred my offer of admission plus I have my way around the payment whenever am ready. Thank you very much for your goodwill and I wish you all the best. Enjoy your weekend |
kwizzy212: If I make the payment ... How sure is it I go get my money... As long as u assure me I would get my money back I would def payExactly the reason for my comment. We need to define the link well for the benefit of party A and B. If A pays, is it sure that B will pay rather than telling the story of world's creation and vice versa. Kwizzy man, friends and relatives disappoints on the issue of SEVIS payment so, how do you think we can go about it so that every member of the house will benefit? |
kwizzy212: [color=#990000 Fellow NLers I was once on this trade like you guys 3 years ago, I am happy with good storie here. I have been helping people pay for thier SEVIS Fee cuz I know how it feels to travel all the way to seme incase if any of you guys wants to pay for your SEVIS fee you can hit me up my email is mk_4fana@yahoo.com and you would give my money to my sister there in Lagos. Just my little support. One love Whao! This is so kind of you. I have been waiting for an opportunity like this since I joined the forum. Hahahahahahaha!!! You think you have found a buffoon shey? Your best bet is to help guys make the payment and when they get the confirmation from fmjfee, they can proceed to pay your sister..... 'G.i.e.v.a or seme things na the surest banka'. Beware of 'Limpopo' members my fellow NL's. |

Bimmey: At the embassy now, still outside waiting with confidence.God is goodIf your faith is as small as a mustard seed, you can say to the VO: hand me the Visa for it is mine!. According to the word of God in Jeremiah 33:3 ' call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not'. Oya, say a word of prayer and you will live to remember this day IJN. Best of luck in your chat with the VO.... Patiently waiting for your success story. |

Please, Let's shun whatever will cause distraction here for I applied the same formula when being faced with "........" (Fill the gap). Congratulations to Ms Nas and Vivisparkles. You guys have revealed the point in the saying that 'what a man can do, a woman can do best'. Clean slate is the next target oooooo!! |

Ricky Rozay: Okay. Thanks alot bro. I'm very grateful..Correct. VO: what is your major? You: Business Administration and Management VO: what will this major do for you? Or in some cases; why ABC uni.? This is when you should be ready to break it down. If not asked, please, state your major headlong so as not to prolong your interview. Go get it (Visa) for it is yours any day, any time. Cheers |
Ricky Rozay: Thnx bro.. Does this mean that when the VO ask me; what is your area of specialisation?Let me use myself as a case: VO: what is your major? Me: Electrical Engineering (as stated in my I-20) VO: what will Electrical Engineering do for you? Me: this is when I will tell the VO about my area of specialisation (control systems and robotics) to sell myself and to let him/her knows that am coming back big time to establish (home ties). In your own case, I am not sure how your department is structured. That was why I said you should match your area of specialisation with your major, putting your I-20 into consideration because I have read about people being denied for not stating what the have in their I-20 (peculiar to art and science students). I hope this help. We are here for you bro.... Just state what you have in your I-20 for us to see here. |
Ricky Rozay: Hello guys,Firstly, match the course stated in your I-20 with the one you stated above and if they are same, bombard the VO with a mouth watering response. If it is otherwise, you can explain further to show that you know exactly what you are doing. Wish you all the best 'Diego Simeon'! |
harkynon: guys, i just wrote my gre and had 311 in all, 3.5 in analytical. But i just got a lucrative job that i can save alot. I would like to know if USA schs and immigration wont disturb me or refuse me of visa if i dont apply to any institution for the next 4 yrs for masters program. kindly adviceGood score. I don't think you should have any problem with your decision as it is one that will make you save towards your intended program. Personally, it will take the likes of Chevron,Exxonmobil, etc to stop me temporarily from embarking on my program abroad because my projections in 10years to this time is what I am living for. GRE scores is valid for 5years so, the ball is in your court. I wish you all the best. |
olarwarlay: I knew the Visa Officer would dare not disobey my God!No hurdle can stop a victor like you. I wish you all the best in the US of A. Congratulations and what state and school are you heading to? |
bigfrancis21: Of course after the VO calls his nairaland name and detail, it will only be normal that he tells him not to post his experience. If at all he posts his interview experience, he should leave out the nairaland part.Seconded. |
Ricky Rozay: How true is this, Pls can you post a link, so we can read the guy's post on the dv lottery section of Nairaland.Nice one my boy! You have said it all. @Justwise, is there a way to secure this forum such that people that are not a registered member won't be able to read our discussions? If it will affect the traffic that brings in the 'ounje oojo' abeg, make we leave am like that!!. We just have to be serious with issues and not affect prospective students with foul discussion here. Ricky Ricky.... Go get your visa against all odds. |
creme001: Hello house, pls i would like to find out if we have a database of schools members of Nairaland have passed through. If we do, please i would like to find out if we have anyone in Oregon State university, if we don't, i suggest we create one. It will help us network better. Secondly, could i get GRE Materials from the forum? and finally, i have a friend who finished under grad with a 2.7 CGPA from a private university. Is it possible to get into a university in America to study Networking/ computer engineering with that grade?Lmao! Bro, let your friend take and ace the GRE to make up for the low CGPA. You can check UND and Oakland uni. Goodluck |
creme001: My broda, no b me... I don already get visa to vamuss!! Oregon all d way!!Lmao! Bro, let your friend take and ace the GRE to make up for the low CGPA. You can check UND and Oakland uni. Goodluck |
risher ris: the point is .....during my very first interview, i was very nervous.the consular did not even request any docs from me.he asked a few questions that i did answered well but he still denied me.the second interview, my interviewer said he s not in the position to issue me a visa right now that he s not the one that denied me that was last spring and this fall again i was interviewed by the same guy that interviewed me the very first time he asked a few questions too and did not request any document from mebut he asked a question i did not answer really well,he said why did i choose that very location?and i told him i have not being to the united states before and how will i know what what and what is in the location...and he asked some few questions afterwards and i did answer well but this time around he gave me a separate denial form still under section 214b that says i should re apply at any time by submitting a new application, photo and pay visa fee to be interviewed by a consular........thanksOh! That response of yours was harsh to the VO. In my opinion, please, read about the school and come out with one or two things that fascinate you about the state or location. Read as many interviews as possible from this thread and with God's backing, the Visa shall be yours. |
Ricky Rozay: Insult No 2.. E b like say dem dey pursue you for ur village. Me, Computer Training ke... You should be calling me the Next Bill gate...You never told me you are J-K Flip flop counter now. Anyways, Naija Bill gate ( or Steve Jobb), dem go pursue me from my village to my glory if you don't know. Funny and confused lad... |
Ricky Rozay: Wetin b ur own headache dere.. U will just come here just dey open ur large mouth..O boy! See attack!! If you have been checking google for more than an hour and couldn't find something suitable, then you need a computer training. By the way, I didn't direct my post to you hence, the use of the adjective 'we'. I won't say more than this as I have many things to worry about rather than arguing with a newbie. Please, stop this attack Rick Ross or what are you? |
steve4ever: pls i need help from house, i finish sec sch 2005, and i want to use d result for my interview. pls what and what document can i use to backup the years i spent at home? although am in sch already butt dnt want to include it in my document that am in sch in case of anytin. am waitin please....Oh! What a case!!. If I may ask, what level and what course are you undergoing at the moment? If you are about to finish, you can chill. Anyways, you can say that after your secondary school, you took Jamb twice and wasn't admitted because of too many applicants to your school of choice. You then opted for a 2-year vocational training in fashion and design or whatever you have on mind, and you were attached to a company for another one year before setting up yourself. Other NLd gurus, please, pick up from here as 2005 is kind of too far mhen! |
imperiouxx: @bigfrancis,You just spoke my mind bro. Francis is really trying and I know for sure that it will help him in his managerial aspiration because he always do the same long write-ups whenever I chat with him privately. @ my fellow Nairalanders, some new folks here are always asking questions that has been answered in one way or the other in previous threads. Why not take the pain to read through the whole thread? Remember; No pain, no gain. For some other questions on sample SOP, Employment letter, etc., If we cannot take the time to surf through search engines like google, yahoo, and the rest to get a template to develop on, then, we are not fit to studying abroad. Gbam! More technical question that has not been dealt with before is all we need. One love |
Ms Nas: If you paid less than the official $175 charged by ETS for the TOEFL Test, then I tell you authoritatively, the guy scammed you and shortchanged ETS. I know what he did, because I almost fell into that trap too. What they do is that, they get credit cards from those scammers, use the credit card (which isn't theirs) to register for you. Hence, the fee they collected from you will be cheap since the money they used to pay for the test isn't theirs. I only pray for you, that the card doesn't charge back, before your exam or before you have a chance to view and print your scores. Otherrwise, once ETS attempts to verify the payment (which they do, but I dunno how they do that), the card company will decline the payment and charge ETS extra money for the deception or whatsoever. ETS will they withold your scores until you pay up. And they'll even add additional $20 (the chargeback fee the credit company levied them). Hope I made sense o! Just my 2 centsTrue talk. 'Awuuuf they say, dey burst belle'. I fell in the same trap sometimes last year and I had to pay double as ETS withheld my scores. Ever since the incidence, I strongly believed in doing things 'YOURSELF' and never look for a fast route.....NLnd is the best forum mheeeeen! |
When the VO says'can I have your document' what document should I present to the VO?
Sevis receipt I-20 admission letter (if any) international passport, appointment confirmation page, MRV fee confirmation page, DS 160 confirmation page. Exactly what I told a friend to present last week. Other gurus should add if any |
