is lust sinful? yes. when madam grabs oga or the other way round in an expression of lust is it sin? no and we all know this. there is the place of permitted sexual expression of lust and masturbation in marriage within the area of christian beliefs.

For those claiming masturbation is a sin please readup and I hope you get a thing or two.

ALL couples masturbate. I would like to depict illustrations.

Firstly let us get the defination correct. So if a young man/woman strokes himself or herself even if not to the point of orgasm it is still masturbation.

Illustration 1
Man and wife getting ready to do the do. Man strokes himself to attain rigidity, woman sensitizes herself so her body can produce necessary vagina lubrication to avoid abbrassion. If that is not masturbation I wonder what is. Every couple masturbate at the moment of intercourse. Sometimes done by oneself or one's partner.

So in case you say they are in the sex session let's continue

Illustration 2
While in the intimacy session baby cries and spoils the mood during the time it takes hubby to soothe it back to sleep or silence. In case the man's penis has deflated he strokes back to erection at the end of end of the bed before he climbs back to enter his wife. Still ok but what if he was stroking 2 feet from the bed, 1 metre from the bed, next room, next town. If one was ok by you and the other locations were not it is distance/location you are now using as a yardstick to measure masturbation sin which was not listed so in the bible.

As far as scripture is concerned sex is sex irrespective of the acts performed. Also christ admits sex is sex either imagined or physically acted out. Masturbation is a sexual act and if the bible has wanted us to not touch our members it would have explicitly said so. We all know it stating sex outside the area of marriage is outlawed as well as same sex unions. Within the concept of marriage sex is permitted including all activities okayed by both parties involved as each has a legal avenue of exibiting his/her lust desires under a God ordained covering.

Do not place an unnecessary self edifying unscriptured burden on the certified holy matrimonied. It is like saying eat don't swallow

This however is for those who rely on christure scripture for guidance (our atheist brethren do remember this is the religion section)

@tjayjoy i beg to differ on your conclusion with that scripture. sex itself is dirty business. have we not wondered why God made them naked in the garden and said it was good. man's greatest desires of food and intimacy was made available to them
Christianity EtcRe: Is Self Servicing A "SIN" For A Couple Whose Partner Is Hardly Around? by teemy(m): 10:44pm On Sep 05, 2015
lastly, the only self evaluation christ gave was that anyone that lusts after a woman is no different from actually having sex with her. if your desired is your spouse everything goes. everyone masturbates during sex. don't burden the married.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Self Servicing A "SIN" For A Couple Whose Partner Is Hardly Around? by teemy(m):
firstly sin is sin but listing what the bible has not listed as sin to be is adding to scripture such as in acts where some jews were enforcing the converted gentiles to follow all the laws of moses. the apostles cut this short on time by asking that burdens their fathers found difficult should not be placed on these converts. during sex everyone masturbates while trying to set things erect and ease things. distance is now what is being used as a yardstick for sin or no sin and not in the bible.

FamilyRe: What Would You Do If Your Spouse Told You He Stole N100m From Government? by teemy(m): 7:42am On Aug 23, 2015
The fact remains that your spouse would have lost something in morals to do such. What more would he/she lose to gain the fancy things of life. To be honest it could be tempting especially if one's spouse begins to say things like "it could solve our current money problems, we would just borrow it and return later" and so on. The truth is it is just a start of worse things to come. It is good to ask one such questions now so as not to be caught unawares and not know what to do if such actually happens.

What is bad is bad and has no other cosmetic name irregardless of whether the money was stolen from a good or bad person.

If someone from the largese of what he/she has earned decides to use/misuse his/her own money as wished I see no reson to pester them though they could be advised to do better and yet that is purely left to their decision.

However in this case, ruggedman and his crew could face legal action by the state as a nation's legal tender irrespective of the amount should not be held in disrepute.
FamilyRe: Is It Right To Marry A Second Wife Since The First Couldn't Bear Me A Child? by teemy(m):
For a reason or the other, stories like the OP's story still abound only in the sense of pleasing people. We believe others would be judgemental against us because we do same to others. A child is a child and especially in this world where many a child still lack basic love and care.
These steps could be taken for couples yet to get children.

1. Get the results from a certified fertility specialist. To be sure make it two specialists.
2. https://www.nairaland.com/1867747/simply-applied-method-getting-pregnant could be the simple answer for healthy couples.
3. Should the hubby be infertile, insemination for the wife could be done.
4. If wifey is infertile, sperm could be gotten from the husband and a female egg donor provide eggs which could be implanted in the wife.
5. If the wife has a problem with keeping a pregnancy, the services of a surrogate mother could be employed for womb rentage.
6. If both are unhealthy childwise, they could chose whom to love via adoption.

All these does not disprove the place of prayer but better alternative than what the our deeper lifer did.

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Wrong To Call The Name Of Jesus During Sex? by teemy(m): 3:59pm On Aug 02, 2015
Unfortunate as it may, some would still end up marrying those in the occult. What if during sexual intimacy the partner exibits a form of craft would it not be ok to call on the Lord's name then.

N.B They are in the heat of sexual activity o.

So if you agree that is an exception then it was just sentiment to say it was wrong in the first place except you can scripture defend it.

People just tend to see sex as an impure thing but it is not so in holy matrimony. Let us remember that in the garden of eden food appetite and sex appetite were both catered for being naked as they were created God acknowledged that it was good. If you can call the Lord's name at mealtimes I see not why not at couple bonding moments.

I guess you want to have the last word, so you do. Let it slide.

However when last i checked, cameras in the hall do not check what i was paid and so cannot hold me responsible for an over payment. Secondly, if the cashier decides to stare at me at my next coming, it will be up to her to act right or ensure i am not over paid. the same scenario will simply replay itself.
My sincerest apoligies if you feel so. Was just trying to help.

Wishing you well - Teemy

Guess what bro....

The counting machine is there for both parties to have the money counted and agree on the figures. You throw the money at me and i count it and walk away, believe the same rules will apply which says, money once removed from the counter will not be admissible as having been given in short supply.

THese things happen daily.
Security camera showing you confirming the excess amount would label you badly in such a case. Though a criminal proceeding might not be carried out since the bank had its own fault in the matter, it would give remembrance that a good name is better in all matters as all cashiers in that bank henceforth would give you stares. Irrespective of man's actions/inactions always play the bigger man. Peace and Love bro.

My point is obviously lost on you. I never said it is honesty and moral. I am only saying what is personal to me namely, if you are a service provider and you are rude to me, be sure never to make a mistake because i will throw morality and honesty to the wind at the alter of your rudeness.

No matter how sweet she may be and how bad her day may be, she is employed to manage herself and manage me, the customer.

What i have said is what i will do and i have not claimed that it is morally right. It is a penalty for being rude to the person who is paying your salary. I attend to people even if it is at a high level, i manage my emotions. they are the reason i have a job in the first place.
True but two wrongs do not equate to a right. If someone is rude to me i just have no right whatsoever in stealing their money.
Jam 4:17 To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. I don't need someone to be nice to me before i do what to me is inane. If my money is X and I am given X+Y I know I have to return the Y. My inner mind does not even give me any other alternative. That is how I am built.

We are being told to love others and it is not always because they deserve it.

You do not just comment for the sake of it. I had tried to make 2 points in that comment

1. The position that she may sacked did not and still does not appear tenable, what i tried to explain is what will happen if at close of accounting day it is found out her account is not balanced... (That point was not intended to justify the action or inaction of the OP)

2. My second point was to indicate that the teller needed to be taught a lesson. If you decide to treat people like scum, be ready to take what comes out of it.

I will give you an example.

At check in point at the Enugu airport last week enroute Lagos, one lady forgot to pick her phones after crossing them through the machine checks. i was behind her and her supposed male friend. i called her attention severally and she kept behaving like, guy what is your problem, cant you see i am with a guy? fortunately for me and unfortunately for her, we sat next to each other in the flight and when she lamented that she wasnt sure where she forgot her phone, i reminded her that i was drawing her attention to that fact. by this time, we were already taxing. The point is, no matter how tired you may be, treat the next man with respect and decorum, you never know what use he might be to you.

i maintain, if a cashier acts funny to me and over pays me, i will rather give the over payment to charity than return it her/him.
The stance is as we are all human and thus prone to errors. For me irrespective of how well or badly I had behaved I would much appreciate and apologise if I was shown a better way of acting after all James 5:20 let him know, that he who converteth a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall cover a multitude of sins.

It is always good to act out in a way that one's good would not be evil spoken of. Try walking out of the banking premises with that amount and the cashier catching the flaw in time. You definately would not be making that last statement by then. wink*

Dead right. Her account will not balance and she will make it up, that simple. It does not affect her job in anyway except she does not balance her account. How people treat me determine how i retaliate. If she was a lot unfriendly, i will walk away with the money. At any rate, she was supposed to count the money in my presence using the counting machine and both parties would have been sure of the amount being paid and received.

Sometimes it pays to bring people to their senses.
Making it up with her own money. End result is same as if she was robbed by the customer. OP did the reasonable* and moral thing.

Maxxxcarter's forgiveness and later action puts paid to the words "Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you". It really is not hard to do.

Jesus did not say the woman caught in adultery was not guilty but rather "Go and sin no more".

If God has not condemned a man to a life of no happiness, no man has that right. Her future still remains bright regardless of her past misdeeds. That is God for you and children of God should follow suit.
