Cos its a sign of someone thats trustworthy.
do you wish to marry someone that cant be trusted?
I rather believe that it is the deception in this case that made her non trustworthy. The man according to the story was not even the one disturbung her on her status. She disrupted his expectation by her own deception thinking it would aid hooking the man.
FamilyRe: My Friends Wife Lied About Her Virginity. by teemy(m): 5:34pm On Jun 18, 2015
In my opinion they are married since they have done the trsditional wedding. The rest are just cosmetics to fulfil our regular 3 weddings on this side of the globe. On the other hand the lady did deceive the man which on its own is bad but it is the man's beans wether to forgive her or not. If he is to forgive her (which I support) he has to deal with deception on the lady's part by letting her know it pays no one as it hurts more when his mind is prepared for a differrent expectation.

If she continues with lying she would only end up destroying what would otherwise have been a wonderful marriage life for the two of them. Divorcing her though would not guarantee he would get someone better. All women have at least a fear but being the one they can open up to is a task not for the feeble minded and if he fails once it might draw her more into a deeper shell. The decision sha lies with the hubby. I hope he does the right thing.

Consider being a weapons contractor for the military - Very Ok

Supplying same weapons for criminals - Not Ok
Not to add you are actually configuring the job to their uses.

You would just be giving them the tools for the trade. Fact is they would get it done somewhere else but the nice thing is your good name would not be mentioned when their game runs out. (It surely will)

Choose the good name dear.

It is quite unfortunate that there exist virginity-hunters whose aim is to defile young maidens.

Another one is that their non virgin counterparts set them up making them victims of date-rapes.

CrimeRe: How I Escaped Being Kidnapped By "Police" In Lagos Today by teemy(m): 12:13pm On May 21, 2015
For the benefit of those who are doubting the OP's story a similar event happened to me at oshodi market when I travelled to lagos to repair two PS2 games even though I was picked up quite close to where I bought one of them. The cops were not willing to investigate anything ('cos there was nothing to investigate in the first place) and one of them bundled me from the main courtyard into the station when I was trying to make a phone call even though I was not under arrest. That was the day I discovered there is another market at oshodi - The Nigerian Police Force PLC Oshodi branch.

Without cause there was never any reason for the searches in the first place.

Never underestimate people.

One deadly criminal in the US was caught and killed by the law 80 years ago. Many people at the time who viewed his dead body commented about how ordinary looking he was.(Some even thought he looked like a nice guy).

Recently in that same America...there was a nice looking family......who were bank robbers at night. When dey catch them, their neighbors were like....How come? They do not look like criminals!

There is no such thing as the criminal look. That nice looking boy in your neighborhood is probably one crime kingpin somewhere.
I do get your point but the NPF has been notorious enough to not be trusted. I wonder how they can still present cases to court with the level of human rights abuses and corruption in the system. These guys could be criminals truly but I do not agree for the particular crime in question.

I do know the NPF is very effective especially if the case is apolitical. I just don't enough trust as should be in a proper civil society towards them. Maybe I am being biased sha till they outperform my expectations of them.

I believe in this man. One who can boldly make a statement that would result in reduction of his senatorial allowance is definately not there for the money and pointing attention to the areas where we as a country haave been having leakages despite the state of the economy. What he needs now is our support party or no party affiliation. He shall do well.

Somehow I am not convinced that those sitting down there look anywhere close to those who would have successfully carried out a bank robbery.

Seems you have never hang around nursing mothers before....

The minute they start their crying bout, and put them for back they stop and pretend sleeping, try and lie down small to rest your aching legs, they will start all over again still you stand up and shake yanshe upon yanshe. Some will not just allow their mother breathing space, I no envy woman o! Dem dey try, some the wahala begin most will just run out of house to hang with their paddy outside cool
Personally I believe they could reduce their wahala by letting hubby help them out. Some superglue the babies to their arms. cheesy Let the dad have a staring contest with the baby.

Sometines it is just best to ignore as soon as it is discovered that the baby is doing it for fun and not to complain of a discomfort. Once they notice you don't care they just learn to do the needful and keep mum else they tend to get spoilt by overcaring folks.

FamilyRe: I've Been Combing My Conscience, was I Wrong? I Need Someone To Help Analyse This by teemy(m):
@nickibarb there is is a saying that says "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it". In a way you expected trouble to exist with your decision to call others to a non existent issue as your hubby had promised to take care of the kids in your absence but you played the they will talk card and at the end of the day that did happen. Another way your hubby could be viewing it could be that you are counting him incapable of watching over his own kids just for a period24hrs of when you would be away for your exam.

With my wife doing similar especially when I complained that her way of raising up our kid by giving in to all his whinnings was not helping matters and when it seemed she just was not listening I excused myself and moved out to a close location to concentrate on my work afterall she was the perfect baby caretaker. I had to hide my laughter when she came around and said she was going to drop the boy and his things at my place as his wahala was getting too much. What I used mouth to complain and complain about a few weeks away was enough to open her eyes to see the truth especially when what the kid would do in her presence he dare not do so mine especially when I give him 'that look'.

Different men with different attitudes to handling situations and though I would say your hubby went over the edge by pushing you, you also pushed him to the wall with your own actions giving semblance to Job's "That which I feared is come upon me". If you let women talk lead you to expect being badly treated in your matrimonial home you will find yourself acting in ways that would sha lead those actions to appear even if they had no reason to happen in the first place.

I wish you would resolve past issues with your hubby as this is an aftershoot of past arguments. Try not to raise your voice at him and vice versa and do not deprive him of his things (I mean a lot more that what I just said). Communicate well and become the friends you once were and do not bore him with little talk like I used a blue colored pot to cook your white dinner (his type of work tends to make one impatient).

You have what it takes to be better (lol), and be the woman he would grow to always respect. Leave the MIL part your hubby would know how to resolve that as he just might have his own reasons for not wanting you guys close. Don't push it. Your main concern is him and try not to say things that strips his ego again, pleasehuh

Wishing you well - Teemy

Pro 7:1 My child, remember what I say and never forget what I tell you to do.
Pro 7:2 Do what I say, and you will live. Be as careful to follow my teaching as you are to protect your eyes.
Pro 7:3 Keep my teaching with you all the time; write it on your heart.
Pro 7:4 Treat wisdom as your sister, and insight as your closest friend.
Pro 7:5 They will keep you away from other men's wives, from women with seductive words.
Pro 7:6 Once I was looking out the window of my house,
Pro 7:7 and I saw many inexperienced young men, but noticed one foolish fellow in particular.
Pro 7:8 He was walking along the street near the corner where a certain woman lived. He was passing near her house
Pro 7:9 in the evening after it was dark.
Pro 7:10 And then she met him; she was dressed like a prostitute and was making plans.
Pro 7:11 She was a bold and shameless woman who always walked the streets
Pro 7:12 or stood waiting at a corner, sometimes in the streets, sometimes in the marketplace.
Pro 7:13 She threw her arms around the young man, kissed him, looked him straight in the eye, and said,
Pro 7:14 "I made my offerings today and have the meat from the sacrifices.
Pro 7:15 So I came out looking for you. I wanted to find you, and here you are!
Pro 7:16 I've covered my bed with sheets of colored linen from Egypt.
Pro 7:17 I've perfumed it with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
Pro 7:18 Come on! Let's make love all night long. We'll be happy in each other's arms.
Pro 7:19 My husband isn't at home. He's on a long trip.
Pro 7:20 He took plenty of money with him and won't be back for two weeks."
Pro 7:21 So she tempted him with her charms, and he gave in to her smooth talk.
Pro 7:22 Suddenly he was going with her like an ox on the way to be slaughtered, like a deer prancing into a trap
Pro 7:23 where an arrow would pierce its heart. He was like a bird going into a net---he did not know that his life was in danger.
Pro 7:24 Now then, sons, listen to me. Pay attention to what I say.
Pro 7:25 Do not let such a woman win your heart; don't go wandering after her.
Pro 7:26 She has been the ruin of many men and caused the death of too many to count.
Pro 7:27 If you go to her house, you are on the way to the world of the dead. It is a shortcut to death.

Irregardless of whatever investment pastor has made in either woman or sentiments as they may be it is all better for him to seek the face of God as He know the end of the union from the beginning. Virgin/Baby mama can be Go's choice or none of the above. Above all it is pastor's life to live and thus his decision. If he is a man of God this issue shoulc not be alien to God in his dealings. Let him pray and heed to the decision.

Actually each listing is a summary. It is quite an anteresting writeup. Try reading it through

I feel for these students and am not happy with those that use their woes to enrich themselves.

In an exam of 2x2, even if there is no one to monitor them no one would cheat because they all would know it. It all starts from letting the students know what is taught them by making competent teachers available to them.

Cool.. Yes in Maths a can be equal to b.. but not when using difference of two squares.. Except if am missing something.. Because that will just end up as zero.

true.

ikenigel:
The proof was almost correct until he cancelled out cancelled out (10-10)/(10-10) as "1". This cannot be so. 0/0 is NOT EQUAL to 1. So it cannot be cancelled out like that. (a-a)/(a-a) is always equal to zero! That's the point where he lost it. Other things are based on sound mathematics. But (10-10)/(10-10) is NEVER equal to ONE.
The rule is for any random numbers 'a' and 'b', (a-b)/(a-b) = 1 .... EXCEPT when a=b
I feel he handled each 0 seperately by 10-10=0 in both numerator and denominator

But finally I have to admit that every point the denominator ends in a subtraction that equals zero the whole thing ends as undefined making the cookie crumble. So theorem fallacied.

CultureRe: When The Bride Price Is Too High For Him To Pay by teemy(m): 5:45pm On May 09, 2015
There was a lady's case that made front page twice due to her hubby raping her. The guy mentioned he had paid high for her bride price. A man I had occassion to talk with over the phone who found it not out of error to call his wife worthless in front of a stranger told me he had paid her bride price. A friend of mine told me he had once beaten his wife blueblack which he would not have had the liver to do if he had not paid her bride price. What made all these honourable men because of bride price do wrong by what they themselves by their own standards would have termed unfair.

I did not pay any bride price as far as my wife is concerned. Who knows maybe I would have done same if the spirit of 'ownership' had gotten into me if that is what happens for those who follow this tradition irregardless of my stance of not ever hurting my wife. I believe it should not be commercialized if done or else it's better abolished.

I was roughly manhandled before they invited the police who equally tortured me to find out the exact fact of my mission. I fabricated lies to enable the police leave me but all the things I said did not go down well with them. They then took me to the Area Command headquarters in Nsukka town.”
Very wrong methods of interrogation by the police.
PoliticsRe: If You’re The President Of Nigeria, How Will You Tackle Corruption? by teemy(m):
Using the mobile phone industry to solve it.

This is how

Since virtuslly all nigerians have access to mibile phones all that is needed is provide a database of numbers that the government would have to tackle each issue with all seriousness. Every govt agency has a monitoring/disciplinary unit but these ones have been the ones that have made the system as it should be. They wait till an issue becomes a major national headline before performing their duties.

If you had to report a crime that happened right in front of you you would probably feel like calling 911 but you know that won't work here in nigeria but if you knew that there was a phone number you could easily have called and that would reduce the chances of that criminal of hurting another citizen you certainly would make that call.

Public access numbers should be made available for every ministry/commision of the government and those at the receiving end would have the power to carry out/assign investigations towards solving the issue. Every house should takecare of itself. Of course since sim registration was done everyone knows prank calls would be traced and due punishment metted out on pranksters.

It is not enough to just say people should report issues on the news but going a step further to mention which website address or phone number they have to make such reports to. These monitoring unit already exist but they themselves need to be put under scrutiny by the public and if their work is lacking they should be seriously dealt with.

e.g If I notice a policeman/woman abuse power or break the IGP's directive
https://www.nairaland.com/2303574/dont-pay-bail-againpolice-ig
Again, the Acting Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has stated that it is improper for police officers to request for money from suspects for bail. Arase warned that he will no longer accept such from his men because his administration will have zero tolerance for corruption.
I just need to visit the govt/police website that should have the number or email of the disciplinary unit of the police and make a complaint. I mean stick it right in their faces to ensure there is no reason not to complain.

If I notice an assigned road project would end up being a deathtrap because the construction is not being done well I should have a number to make an immediate complaint to. If I notice that the filling station in my area is selling above the pump price I should have a task force number to call. If these units are being pesterred with calls they would act and if they don't (because of bribes or lackadaisical attitudes) there should be an higher unit like Servicom that would handle those complaints that passed through and firstly the monitoring units would be disciplined even before the culprit. If Servicom fails there should be a unit that reports to the presidency any complaint thst passes over Servicom.

Agencies like the Public Defence Commission and National Orientation Agency need to have dedicated airtime and publicity awareness programmes to let people know their rights and answer enquiries. Do you even know that using the police to arrest a debtor is illegal without a court warrant. The police is not a debt collection agency. I even wonder why some lawyers could be broke when the police is there for the picking. NOA should be funded as should be to let people know what the people should expect from their government.

A grace of just 12hrs of instant correction is what is required for each monitoring unit needs to attend to an complaint and if they fail within that period the complainant is justified to go higher. With this, the level of nigeria's corruption would drop in less than a week as people love their jobs.
