I have worked in a Portable water production company before as a quality control manager, so I am quite familiar with the operations. Please don't call it Pure water factory for Canada people oh, if the company only produces sachet water, it should be sachet drinking water company, if it produces both sachet and bottled water, then it should be portable drinking water company. Also the job title they choose doesn't matter, your cousin has to check the various job description to see what matches. If your cousin is directly involved in overseeing the manufacturing of the plastic bottles, bagging of the sachet water and production of the bottled water, then I recommend NOC 0911(Factory production manager) if its a small water company, I don't think you need to claim CEO. If it's a bigger water company, and they are not involved in the day to day running of the business, they just hire managers, supervisors, production officers, and call the shots from home then they can claim NOC 0016 ( Chief executive officer). Now if the are involved in mainly the day to day administrative aspects of the business, basically, hiring and firing and paying of salaries then I recommend NOC 0114 (Managing Director). In summary, your cousin should check the NOC's in line with his/her job description, it will be easier to make a decision. However, this is my personal opinion on this maybe others will have another opinion. Cheers ananne: Please can someone who owns a pure water factory apply for express entry? If yes, what NOC will it be? As the owner of the factory.. Can he apply as the CEO or MD. The NOC to choose is bothering my cousin and her hubby. 13 Likes 4 Shares |

I can confirm that OND and HND are evaluated as 2 different programs with WES. You don't need any CIMA or BCS to get extra points. @jaybros is correct Lukina4real:
Not true biko. It's evaluated as 4 years degree, you need CIMA OR BCS 5 Likes |

I believe this further explains @Stencil response. This excerpt is from IRCC website hayohorje: Good evening, please I need your contribution on a particular issue. Does a full time work experience acquired while on a study permit in a country counts for express entry purpose .kindly bear in mind that my Post graduate program is part time. I know that part time work experience acquired as a student counts as I saw that on CIC page.does it really matter that I don't have a work permit to work full time in the country whilst I know that I don't need a work permit to work per time. I can get my department to write a letter stating that my program is part time and even support with timetable to show that my classes does not affect the work am doing.kindly advise as I only have 2 years work experience before traveling to start this program. 1 Share

I uploaded my Notification of Result, because my certificate was not available at that time. The official transcript must come from the University (I hope they still accept notification of results, things change every day). When the ECA document is ready, CES will send you a passworded preview copy, asking you to check through for any errors. If there's none, they will proceed and send you the official hard copy. Unlike WES, CES will not send official soft copy I didn't want to use the preview copy, so I had to wait forever for the hard copy, it never arrived, I went to the post office close to where I live, they said nothing arrived after chilling for 3 months. So I had to request for a duplicate copy from CES, I sent it to a friend in Canada, he got it with 5 business days and he scanned it to me. So I advice that you pay for international courier. It's more expensive but very reliable or you can use standard post to send to someone in Canada to scan to you. Some people have chosen standard post delivery and they got their ECA from the post office without any problem, but there's a 50:50 chance that it may take forever to get to you. Dinma27:
Please what and what did you send to CES? And will they send you a copy? 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Am so sorry for responding to this late @4kimportX, my schedule has not permitted me. Yes, CES accepts SOR. I didn't have certificate, after my application they sent me a mail asking if I had a certificate. I said I had not been given by the University. They responded by saying I should not worry, they will proceed with Statement of Result. This was in January this year or so. I hope things have not changed now anyways. Cheers 4kimportX:
Good morning ma'am, does CES accept statement of result/provisional certificate because my MSc certificate is not ready! |

I used CES and I didn't send any student copy of transcript. Unless things have changed recently, I believe the only transcript required is official transcript and it should be sent directly from your school to CES via courier. danfad: Please I observed that ICES and CES require student copy of transcript. Is it still mandatory if I get official transcript from my school? 1 Like |

@ Chamberlain I don't think it matters, the 6 months is just to know the average balance in your account over that period of time. You can give 8 if you want. I have a friend that submitted 4 months and he didn't have any issue. Unless it's an ADR and they specifically ask for 6 months bank statement I have another friend currently in Alberta, she got her Bank Reference Letter in RCIC format, so she didn't submit any statement For the Tbills my personal opinion is that you do 6 months, but I will let others that have used Tbills comment on that. Chamberlain76: Good morning beautiful people of Canada, I have some questions 1. Is it okay to print 8 months statement or just stick to the 6 months? 2. If I'm submitting my application in August and I want to roll over my tbills investment next week, is it okay to invest it for 364days (since I can liquidate whenever the need arises) or will that be too long? Please help with your answers 2 Likes 1 Share |

With 8777 (LRSW) in IELTS you guys will be in the 440+ range. If he gets maximum point in IELTS 8.5/8/7.5/7.5 you will be in 450+ range which is a safer bet in recent times (I am assuming you will write IELTS and evaluate your degree too). However, getting maximum score is not beans o, but it's very possible. Please read through page 1 of this thread thoroughly. There is so much info available to guide you and then you can ask questions where you need clarification. Plenty professors, guru's and elders are here to assist. IzzyAde: Hubby will be 33 in July and i am 26. Do you think he should be the principal applicant since he has longer work experience. Thank you for the response
@TemiGee Why don't you start now. Hubby has HND and OND, he can get evaluated as two or more degrees with WES. He doesn't need the BCS. That will cost more money and will still be two or more degrees. He has 5 years experience, which makes him the best person as P.A. (I assume his age is not too advanced)
By this time next year. 470 may struggle to get ITA. Who knows. "There is no time to check time"
