if there were God lovers who never love & pursue money I would've been among them years ago. When I came out of the bathroom the priest was busy chanting some mantras that i couldn't make out a word. I turned to look at him squarting b4 his alter & he was sweating all over his body. I wanted to tell him that I'm through with the bath but i stoped to look at him because he seemed to have been in a frenzy.In between chanting,he told me to go & wait 4 him in the other room. I didn't knw what was going to happen when he'd finish consulting his deity(ies).So I sat in a chair beside another alter in a different room,waiting for him...
No,the above is not the begining of d story.I will have to tell u how i got in there with the "sage" who's also a priest,visioner & has the solution to any problem u may encounter on planet earth. His temple is a whole flat in the top floor of a 3 storey building. This is the continuation of my 1st story (my experience with Olumba Obu). One of their member,known in this forum as MaxInDHouse, has been busy announcing that salvation will come to ur house on September. What salvation is he giving?

The thing is,if people knw u dnt believe in their God u r in trouble.When ur chicken die,its because u dnt go to church; when ur vehicle breaks down,its because u dnt worship God; if u can't pay ur house rent; its because u dnt go to church...& so on. If u don't want 2 have any problem with ur family,community & society at large; & u dnt want to engage in endless argument; & u don't want 2 get a dirty look every Sunday morning; then be a christian. Fake it as much as u can & 4get abt conscience. If people don't want to listen to u when u speak ur truth,then tell them lies & feel no guilt because they love living in falsehood. But if u r rich & earn everyone's respect,then u can declare urself an atheist & have no problem.Then u'll see believers scurying to u 4 financial help without feeling guilty! What a world!

But, on the last one I am not feeling you at all and I strongly disagree on the basis that - we need to respect other people's choices and not project our views or personal beliefs, as being more valid or as the right path for everyone.

You may not like or understand other people's need for children, but respect their right and power of choice, to have them. Even the Creator who gave us free will, respects our power of choice, without imposing or infringing on it. Who are we mere mortals to do otherwise?

Child birth is not an unrighteous act in my opinion and people should have children if they want them, but I think they should do so responsibly and have a reasonable number of children they can take care of, without losing themselves and their souls in the process.

in that case we should respect the choice of the unborn by seeking their consent b4 birthing them

It should be clear that my naration here is only "my experience",not urs or anyone else. Other people experiences will not be the same.Just as I stated earlier,I didn't create this topic to tell u that Eckankar is the wrong or right path to follow. I agree with this poster to a large extent. A lot of things in life are simply beyond our control. If I’m given a chance to come back to this world a second time, I’ll reject it. Too many issues and challenges to deal with. It’s tiring! I don’t ever want to be female or African again!

I want to use this opportunity to beg parents to have some sympathy for their children and stop giving birth to them. There's too much suffering in this world, from children dying from starvation, people dying from diseases and getting beaten and raped, accidents, etc. In fact, the quality of human life in general is very low. .


If you love your children as you claim, you'll not want them to suffer. You can marry your partner and still be happy without children.

It's okay if you already have children, but it's not too late to stop producing now and save your future offsprings from coming into this world to suffer and then just die for nothing.

For now that's all I have to say.

Now it seems like everyone in the country has been taught to live in dept. It's become a difficult thing 4 a typical nigeria to pay 4 the things he purchase without incuring debt even when he has the money with him. My observation is that people believe that owing will make them rich.As 4 others,their problem is that they don't want to live a simple life,they want to have everything even when they can't afford to pay 4 them.Is it mandatory that a person who can't feed himself 2 times a day should get a foreign pair of shoe in credit? But such is our life. We've been trained to go around pilling up dept 4 ourselves in things that aren't realy necesary. When we grow up with this mental inclination & somehow secure a political position,the problem get worse.

Tell them that marriage isn't what it used to be. Tell them that this is 21st century & people aren't expected to be tied in a boring unpleasant marriage.Infact tell them that there is no need to marry because the idea of staying with one partner is so outdated. Its so common to hear ur debtors make that statement if u go to ask them to pay u.It's almost an excuse people come up when they don't want to or are unable to pay their debt. But who exactly is federal government & why must it/they owe? How did it begin? Why must every Nigerian imitate the federal government in owing?
