There's what eckists call open air vahana.Although they say they dont make effort to win converts,they go in group to a public place & speak abt eckankar. Then there's the eckankar radio & tv broadcast. Open air vahana is not evangelism.It is not to win converts. It is to make the public hear about eckankar.The eckists in general don't try to convert people to their religion. But if they've to go all this far to make the public aware of them,then what should u call that?

If the information is true then i would say that eckankar don't open up everything to newcomers because we were told that any member who decides 2 leave eckankar can leave at anytime & will have no problem...

Ethanol in it's purest form can be used to power most vehicles and machines with combustion engines.

Washing of hands in those days were tradition made by men that is their forefathers. The purpose which I think is for them to have a clean hands..because they think as everyday goes by, there must have been some contacts with people and animals the Jews considered unclean. This's something i've been trying to figure out,it's understood that handwashing is important for a healthy living.But in Mat.15:20,Jesus said that eating with unwashed hands doesn't defile a man. He classified hand washing as traditions of men that make the word of God invalid-Mark 7:1-5,13. Thus,he encouraged his disciples to eat with dirty hands.
Now to us believers, why do we have hand washing station in our churches? Why do we wash hands b4 we eat? Was Jesus lying to us? Or is it that we don't believe Jesus' words anymore. Remember, it's sin that defiles a man,not virus. Now i need a mature christian with sound mind to explain this. I don't need atheist & non christians.

some months later i had 2 think abt it again.Is eckankar realy a way to God? How do I knw if the path will lead 2 regrets & disappointment? At one point,I decided to search 4 information frm ex eckists. I came across a page that said something abt Ford Johnson,a once prominent member of Eckankar said some negative things abt the path. I was discouraged! Again,there was this man called Darwin Gross who is said to have been an eck master b4 Klemp. Gross is said to have engaged in legal battle with Klemp over leadership position in eckankar. I couldnt say much abt this issue but all i know is that ex-members of any group are more likely 2 see what active members are unable 2 see. Whatever the case,i dnt knw much abt the inner workings of eckankar. Then an ex member once posted a link to a site that showed extracts frm Mahanta transcript...
