Death can occur in different places or different ways but Nigerians being what they are, will judge on assumptions and mysteries.May be she had an underlying sickness.Autopsy would clarify and apease her family,if they are open to medical science and not the bizarre beliefs on voodoo or occults like most Nigerians or that of one god of man who is there to scam and make money for himself and loved ones.May her gentle soul rest in peace. |
Let them a get a CCTV camera to monitor the flow of traffic and other activities on that bridge. You don't build a massive infrastructure like that without having camera surveillance to monitor crimes like vandalism, robbery, kidnappings etc. |
Hopefully, the government will succumb and give to the demands of the people.Hunger is biting hard.Prices of basic commodities have skyrocketed.lnflation is way too high.Increment of minimum wage shouldn't be a thing that should lead to a strike rather an urgent action that should have been done without delay or long processes. |
It is Savagery to watch that people don't have a basic source of pipe borne water in this country. To think that they have a commissioner in charge of water resources in their LGA is worrisome.l can vouch that this is happening in all regions of the country.Kudos to the reporter for the video.Hopefully, something is done soonest. So sad. |
Even the people paying those money in the name of tithes, donations would surely not make heaven,if the place even exists at all.Ignorance is bliss. And certainly no excuse. All informations are there for all to see that you are being scammed but you still want to remain blind, hypnotised and brainwashed.Fleecing others of their hard earned money,in the name of an after -life rewards is a very old format and scam.I would refer some to read of the history of indulgence fee in the middle ages. |
He looks fat.Probably died of obesity -related diseases like diabetes, stroke, High blood pressure etc.61 is still very young though appears old in a country with life expectancy of 52 years.Consitent physical exercise could have prolonged his life.Be self-disciplined,go out and walk/jog and do some strength training at home or gym, people. The government can't do or provide everything for us. |
She looks fat at that after picture. Why anyone would want to add weight on their body is unfathomable. I hope she begins a physical training to loose weight otherwise her health is at stake if she continues on that trend. |
This is interesting.l am surprised by Imo, though the reduction in insecurity might have explain this sudden growth on its GDP.Kidnappings still looms nonetheless and the governor must do something for the people to feel secured and feel the change. It's proximity to Rivers and Anambra could be another positive factor.Anambra must step up the game cause they have many vibrant indigenous factories and used to lead the chart.Oti must rivatalise Aba to bring back her past glory.lnflation however is very high in the country. All regions are suffering.Mr president ,hunger is biting hard. |
Good health! Money is good but health is priceless. Most Nigerians are likely to die in their early 50's,so having a sound health should be our utmost priority. |
The man was very much ignored by APC, when he was in PDP or hobnobbing with Atiku. |
Let him refund all the money including the 100.000 Naira and if possible charge him with Interests.I wonder how much the victim and other chuch members have been transferring to the con man or god of man before this incident.l would guess millions of Naira. |
And you even gave them your money."tithes".So,after all the evidences of scam and swindling by the pastors, you guys are still bent on giving them your hard earned money. |
This is good but to fellow men, please as you age, endeavour to do some form of regular strength training and cardio exercise. If you don't have access to a gym, you can train at home.Lifting weights is very important as we get older, since We start to lose muscle mass by 30 and rapidly by 50.l don't think that man is up to 65 years. |
It's very common to see people eating bread together with sweetened drinks like Fanta, Coca-Cola etc in this country and we wonder why we have high rate of obesity- related illnesses and deaths like High blood pressure, gouts, stroke etc. |
Length of stay does not guarantee you an automatic citizenship, you must apply for it,sir .You should know this since you lived there for so long and also read the tabloids. |
All comfortably.l like walking and eating fruits and drinking water helps to energise me all through the walking session. |
You have been paying tithes for the last five years and never missed...Chai what did l just read? You are very exposed to understand that you are being scammed by your fellow human.l only hope that this write up isn't true. After all the endless stories of pastors fleecing their members and living large from tithes, offerings, donations etc , you went ahead still by giving them your hard earned money in the name of heavenly rewards.I have always thought those who give tithes often were the poor, less knowledgeable etc. Please,go make peace with your wife and stop giving your money for tithes.lt's a complete waste. Also learn some financial lessons on how to invest your money.Did you even say you are into IT? |
thesicilian:I understand you.l am not apportioning blame on the whites. Most African American churches, fashion stores etc have pure negroid paintings, pictures, images on their walls, stores or other business places .There are plenty of black mannequins for sale. The manufacturers make images of all different races. The problem here is, whether Nigerian buyers are even interested in buying such black images,at least judging by the number of Caucasian images,we find everywhere. |
thesicilian:It's not about painting anything. Most Africans have their unique features like kinky hair, full lips, broad nose, etc. These should reflect on mannequins in our Country. We must represent and be proud of who we truly are,at least in our own country. Even in Europe, some stores have black mannequins to give a sense of belonging and support to their black minority but in Nigeria..na white images everywhere with little or no black at all. |
Mr moderator. This topic is not about fashion per se.l think we need this at the first page so folks can discuss this with an open mind.Let us see what others think.lt's all about self -love and identity. We are all here to learn, to grow and to improve. |
Zonefree:I can guarantee you with all certainty that the producers of mannequin do have images for all races but are often shocked that most Nigerian buyers do prefer White mannequins over their own black and Negroid features..So it's not about manufacturing anything for a people, but if the people actually want such black images infront of their stores.Talk about self -hate of the highest propensity. If you visit Asia, you will find Asian looking images that look like them everywhere at their fashion stores, same for middle Easterns and also Europe but in Nigeria..Boom it's all white images. We are Africans with majorly dark skin, kinky hair, full lips, wide nose etc.We should have images that look like us Infront of our stores |
MaziX:I noticed it in Port Harcourt and also recently in Owerri. It is all over the place. In some cases, one can find only 1 black mannequin with even caucasoid look and the rest are just plain white images. |
I have observed something unsavoury in Nigerian fashion stores. Why are there mostly white mannequins inside and outside of your fashion stores? One can hardly find our black skin images infront of fashion and designer stores. Is it that you truly hate oneself and your natural black skin? What is going on? Everywhere is just white images all over the place. |
When we were younger, some of us wanted to a lawyer, doctor, engineer, artist, model etc but while some did many didn't.At that age,it is natural and normal to want to explore her horizon and dreams.Talk to her rather about the importance of education and help her to stay focus to achieving better grades at school.Feminism simply means equality and equality for all humans though some radical women are taking it to a whole different dimension. |
This DNA mechanism should be reviewed. It should be done at least three times to ascertain the father because the way it's going, many families would be wrecked. |
Worst performing currency, the lowest life expectancy in the world only slightly above Chad republic, the poverty capital of the world,in order words the poorest humans that ever walked the planet earth... Why are we always at the bottom? |
Both contain fat and salt which can be detrimental to your health.Use olive oil instead ,they are great substitute for baking, frying, cooking steaming etc. |
Your first salary or whatever salary belongs to you and no one else. You can give some to a family member but they are not entitled to it.The worst is giving it out to a pastor or any god of man in the name of more blessings or tithings. That is like letting oneself to be scammed knowingly.l have a feeling that such paranoa is widespread and also encouraged only in Nigeria. |
In few months, they will start repatriating people to different parts of the country.Nigeria dumping her own citizens,so shameful. The federal government invested most of Nigeria's wealth in Lagos being the former capital. It's the combined effort of various individuals from different ethnic groups and so,no persons or group should lay claim or begin to dienfranchise others. |
Making some sense but the single most killer disease or cause of death in the country is high blood pressure (HPB). This is what the statistics show.Life expectancy in Nigeria is 52 years, the lowest in the world, only slightly above Chad republic.Lack of available health care facilities and personal irresponsibility are reasons for sudden deaths. |
Nigerians die everyday of fat -related diseases with high blood pressure being the number one killer. People slump and die every now and then in our markets, churches, mosques, public transports etc. One must not look like the man in the picture to be declared obese. |
I don't understand why the finance team decided to talked the president into floating our currency, knowing well that we are not a robust nor a competitive economy. That decision was not well thought out and we the common citizens are currently paying dearly for it.The Naira is depreciating and prices of basic commodities are skyrocketing. It's certain that the Naira will get to 2000 and above per dollar,by the end of the year, going by this projection. |
