Also on the dinning table that night, I felt something moved and quickly moved, hitting my leg in the process out of fear

There is no inch of rational reasoning dt we can put side by side felas music with these crop of present day artist.

wizkids song and present day artist song duration is like 3 to 5mins song. Do you know dt if we are to cut felas one song into today's present 2/3mins duration, we will have an album cut out just Frm one felas song.

In hit-----------give it to fela (mention one wizkid track dt is a global hit. Aside from holla at your boy dt is probably wizkid most popular song)

Artist upon artist have remix best of felas hit tracks. even wizkid himself took some lines off Frm felas song.

Felas died many years ago. his songs as way bk as 1980s is still been aired till today . It is evergreen even before wizkid was born and after him.

How many of wizkid old songs dt is even living do we hear like dt presently.

international performance-----fela didn't do collaboration. He had a band. He was more of a stage/solo artist. so you cnt compare since fela didn't do collabo.

Do you know how many musical instruments fela can play? mention one wizkid can comfortably play.

Beyond back and forth argument. In saying which is greater , we all know is fela.

Am not a fan of either of them.

Burna,P square,Davido, Wizkid and a host of other present day artists gave the much relevance and significance to Afro beats and Nigerian music than Fela and the other old artists ever did.Fela's music doesn't appeal to a lot of Africans or other nationals.Fela is just like Salif keita,Manu Dibango,Yousou N'dio and other old African Artists that were liked by some people but not globally.His son must stop the comparison.He is very much disturbed by substance abuse.

In terms of being a role model,Fela wasn't somebody anyone would want look up to or even want for a father.Drugs, promiscuous behavior, rashness etc are some of his undoings.Sadly,his negative social life is still what many youths are copying and emulating in this era. For example lnsecurity is high because of drugs usage by the perpetrators,a habit he,Fela did publicly.

Here is what I do, if you have followed my post here you'll know that what has always worked for me is the eye contact, see I'll first look at the girl I want to approach. I will look at her so she knows I'm looking at her, then I'll let her know I'm looking at her bum(I won't go for breast initially, as it's a little creepy), but you can never go wrong looking at her jiggling bum.

You think it's for no reason women snap pictures by posing with her bum?

Stare at it, look at it, admire it.

Then when you approach her, please don't start with "you are beautiful" instead compliment her cloth, tell her you found her interesting and you'll like to know her better.


If you are in a shop or public place, after the whole looking thing ask her about a particular product you want to buy and if she recommends you buy it or fake that you don't know a particular place if she can describe.
Regarding getting her number at this stage, the truth is it's dicey. Sometimes she will give you wrong number, so what I do to ease any tension is to say maybe next week I'll see you around, since I stay in the neighborhood.
That way no much tension.

But no lies it helps to be tall, handsome and with nice voice. Also if you can just change all your cloth(tops) to grey or black .... For pants, you can go with dark blue trousers or shorts. Those colors you can't go wrong.

So it has gotten to my turn. The girl I intend to settle down with is about to go for NYSC.



She was so overjoyed when she told me. I'm happy for her, but you know na...



Several stories of how them dey chop people serious girlfriend for NYSC.



We've heard about the 3 weeks camp, how some are caught doing weeweechu and sent home.



Even if she doesn't do that the 3 weeks as a decent girl I know her to be, the remaining service months are there and even though she is decent I can't trust her to that extent.


Had it been we are married now I can influence it, work redeployment and camp exemption for her to be with me while receiving the monthly alawee.


But things are still open since I haven't done a single thing on her head.


Normally with the news I've been hearing about durtty stuff going on during NYSC I am conditioning my mind to expect the worst and remove my expectations. Yes, she's decent, but she's human and can fall for it.



I can vouch for her a bit but not completely because some girls might still be doing it behind you no matter how decent they appear or how serious the relationship is.



And I know fully well how painful it can be when you use your whole mind in a relationship and she breaks your heart, how painful it can be. So actually it would pain me if anything happens, but I have conditioned my mind not to allow the pain to get deep into me. I've lowered my expectations in the relationship, but my mind still dey.

(Hoping for the best but expecting the worst)
