Christianity EtcSuing God? It's Unbelivable! by TerrySoft(op): 10:57am On Jan 28, 2009
I laughed uncontrollably when a friend walked into my office and shouted "I heard a senator in US has sued God". I thought it was a joke but when i ran a search on CNN ( http://search.cnn.com/search?query=Suing%20God&type=web&sortBy=date&intl=false ), I was shocked at what came up, including one by a prisoner who sues God for not protecting him from the devil.

Does suing God make any sense?
PoliticsRe: Nigerian National Anthem And Pledge by TerrySoft(m): 5:23pm On Dec 12, 2008
Arise, O! Compatriots is one word that struck my heart lately and going through the Nigerian pledge, it reminds me of so many things including current issues in the Nigerian nation and I'm wondering if our leaders today have ever taken time to look at the pledge they made everyday for many years through their primary and secondary school days.

May God Help Nigeria!
WebmastersRe: Clients Who Cheat Web Designers After Getting A Demo by TerrySoft(m): 12:12pm On Dec 10, 2008
Hi guys,

You all have tried in your own different capacity to contribute to this thread. One most important thing is "know who you are, what you can do and what you are worth"

Make your prices reasonable and be flexible as possible to clients knowing fully well that the only reason you are into what you are doing is because of them.

Do your best at all times and don't let anyone (corporate or individual) take you for a ride.

Good luck!

Christianity EtcRe: Christian Songs by TerrySoft(m): 10:18am On Mar 20, 2008
There's a fountain filled with Blood by , I love this song

There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel’s vein
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains (repeat)

Chorus:
He is the son of the living God
He’s Jesus Christ, the holy one
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day
And there may I though vile as he
Wash all my sins away

He is the son of the living God
He’s Jesus Christ, the holy one
And there may I though vile as he
Wash all my sins away

When this poor lisping stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave
Then in a nobler sweeter song
I’ll sing thy power to save

He is the son of the living God
He’s Jesus Christ, the holy one
Then in a nobler sweeter song
I’ll sing thy power to save
(Repeat chorus)
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Loosed all their guilty stains (3x)

RomanceRe: Do You Like Midnight Calls? by TerrySoft(m): 11:32am On Mar 07, 2008
I naturally dislike free things. Besides, i love my sleep and can't take anything in return for it, talk less of a free call from one stingy fellow.

As a matter of fact, I'm not on extra cool and I've never called anyone at night in the name of free calls.

RomanceRe: Why Do Guys Lose Interest In Relationships After The Chase? by TerrySoft(m): 11:02am On Mar 07, 2008
In my opinion, I think it depends on what the guy was chasing. If a guy chases a lady or girl for sex, when he gets that, he has won and every game ends when there's a winner.
CultureRe: Are Expensive Funerals Necessary? by TerrySoft(m): 10:34am On Mar 07, 2008
Whether rich or poor, enlightened or not, whatever the tribe or culture, expensive burial does not benefit the dead, so why indulge in it?

I do not belong to lslam but their way of burial is the best as far as I'm concerned. My father who will soon turn 81 has said it over and over again that God will bless any of his Son's who will bury him in the backyard without keeping him for a ceremonial burial and I've vowed to do just that for him.

Aged ones could be celebrated upon their departure but we should try also to make sure they are comfortable financially while they live, else every form of celebration is uncalled for.
