Go and die. All the bloodshed and I your security chives still there feasting on the souls of the departed you full. Here is a man that knows how to call the shots, not a living dead
Calm down, it is not a good thing to start comparing statistics of people who are dead or arguing numbers of people that died under each administration. What I can tell you is that under Jonathan and his Security Chiefs, hundreds of thousands souls where lost.

Whatever description you are given to Buhari administration, just accept same for Jonathan. As for Trump hundreds of thousands of Americans (highest in the world) have died of Coronavirus with millions of Americans affected as a result of Trump actions and policies. So, you can see how Trump is feasting, according to you, on the souls of the departed.

As for your first 3 words, you can see you take interest in death of people, how are you better than the person you are accusing of feasting on the souls of the departed?

See them hailing Trump, just because your Defense Secretary doesn't support your recent moves, which can cause serious security breach to the nation. You fired him and replace him immediately.

If it was Buhari that did this, from not conceding election lost to firing all those with differing opinions, he will be dictator but Trump doing same thing is the real niggar.

The hypocrisy of "this set of people" is beyond Satan understanding.

Don't they said conveyers of #EndSARS protest hide under a hidden agenda and ulterior motives? Politicians disguising as activists are worst than bad governance and brutality of SARS.

Which SARS are they ending again? Even SWAT has been suspended if not buried.

Anybody that falls for this second waves of protest is not intelligent and not smart.
PoliticsLekki Shooting: Analysing Premium Times Report by TGM2015(op):
I received a WhatsApp message from my friend on the recent Premium Times report of untold stories of Lekki Shooting. Here are the analysis and opinions of my friend.

Highlights from the videos and stories are:

1. They heard gunshots. This has been established and no one denied this.

2. Army and Police, some names were even mentioned, killed and took bodies away. Known allegations, yet 11 days now, their friends and families were not looking or speaking out for them. Some says they were afraid to speak out because they feared the FG? The excuse shock me ooo, naa so they loved the dead reach? Please, tell these people to come out and speak, I beg.

3. The gunshots wounded some of the villagers. Here is what we are saying, there were shootings but the bullet as seen can NEVER be a live bullet. It wounds but has not been recorded to have killed. The 2 deaths were as a result of complications, they died days after the shooting that night.

4. There was stampede, people get wounded in the process, no mention of deaths but we know there could be high possibility of deaths in stampede. Anyway, no evidence or mention for such from the news report.

5. People ran into the water and some were rescued. Here too, there are possibilities of people getting drown and some may have died. Going by know fact, waters always returned dead bodies, after 3 to 7 days, were are now in 11th days. Maybe we should wait for 14 or 21 days before we conclude on this.

6. Oh we have 1 dead body floating on the water now. Yes, there was a body floating on the water, unfortunately the reporter never made mention of whether there was gunshot wound on the man. The only thing established there is there were no blood stains on the man's clothes. Who knows if it was as a result of number 5 above.

7. Hospitals were said to have received instruction to sent lists of people they were treating or at their mortuaries. They alleged that they are afraid to sent the list, even if they were afraid, what about the families of the dead people? They too are afraid to mention where their love one were kept pending Burial? Please, tell them to contact Arise TV or DJ Switch, at least, these people will protect their identity or better come out to the inquiry panel to give details.

Remembered that people alleged that the army threw the killed people into the river and move some to Ikeja and the military mortuary. The panel went to military mortuary unannounced, they were delayed for about 10 minutes before they were allowed, according to Arise TV. When they entered, they find empty spaces, the hospital has been built but not yet equipped to . LCC have also been invited with the CCTV footage of the incident.

Like I always advised people, it is better we look at things objectively than with a biased mind or emotions. In all these, there has never been evidence of Genocide, massacre or mass killings , but for the 2 or more people that died and for any unprofessional engagement, we shall pushed for adequate compensation for victims and punishment for any person (civilians, army, police, etc.) that were found wanting .
Hold on...

All Raymond Simon wanted to do was help. But his large heart almost cost him his life. Mr Simon told PREMIUM TIMES he was not at the toll gate when the soldiers shot at protesters. A church instrumentalist, he was at a rehearsal that evening. As he was returning home on his motorcycle, he decided to take some of those injured during the shooting to hospitals.

He said he was returning after making the third trip from nearby Reddington Hospital when he was ambushed by police officers at the toll gate who viciously attacked and abducted him.

“After I was stabbed, they abducted me alongside a corpse. They were driving us around the area and I suspect they were looking for where to abandon the corpse. When they got to Ilasan area, they pushed me down. My hands were tied to the back,” he said.

He said the police officers drove off with the other presumably dead person. He later managed to find his way to a hospital where his wound was stitched, and he was given painkillers before being discharged.

Mr Simon said after he was attacked, one of the police officers tried to shoot him but one of his colleagues pushed him away. He said another officer with a bayonet attached to his rifle aimed to stab him in the neck, but he quickly moved his head and the blade hit his chin.He said his motorcycle was stolen during the attack.
... you mean they actually spared Simon? He was viciously attacked, they stabbed him even though they had gun with them, push him down and tied him up, knowing fully well he is still breathing. And got only stitch and pain killer for treatment. Hmmm... the story get as ẹ be ooo.

Summary poor learning. Remember that learning is sole responsibility of the student. You see, most of this generation of students never want to study but to read and pass. They might not necessarily be cramming, they may just want to read and understand without personalising the material. That is when you see most efikos, they can solve almost all questions but call them to explain or teach you, they will find it difficult.

They understand it at the level of the educators or creator of the learning materials but not at their own level of understanding. They understand the knowledge pass but were unable to break the knowledge down into pieces and build their own personified knowledge. They are knowledge consumers and not knowledge creators.

Studying a learning materials can take you up to 10 times time of ready the material. They display this traits in all social media

On the first part, you help somebody to help yourself, that is how the world moves forward! If the individual researches merits being published in reputable international journals then I do not see reasons why our government will not setup a body to study and use some of these researches for the benefit of Nigeria.
On the second part, ASUU is not a research body, it is a union meant for the welfare of its members. ASUU also make sure that her members follow due process and ethics in the discharge of their duties. The result of the research of the individual ASUU members is to the credit of ASUU in general. ASUU as a body "does not do research" (please note my apostrophe).
Besides, do you know that there is what is called TetFund research grant? The ASUU members are to apply for this and the people that approve are not ASUU members, they people in Abuja. One of the requirement for some of the grants by TetFund is that software and hardware to be used MUST be purchased from some listed companies! Why can't the TetFund, a government body, insist that your software/hardware be locally produced?
StaffofOrayan:
Bros
ASUU is just one damaged cell in the cancerous body called Nigeria,
Let's take hospitals for example, this govt told doctors to leave the country if they wanted to, that Nigeria has enough doctors,
Now we can blame the doctors for not 'forcefully' tabling their demands or ask why the govt (which is made up of civil servants) seems to be so anti people.
Isn't that a more valid question?
The useless executive/legislation just budget ridiculous amounts to themselves in the 2021 budget, a budget funded by loans

Bros let's wake up while we are still young abeg
proffemi:
I had to log in to respond because your post just rubs me off the wrong way.

What do you mean "push"? You mean as in force government to accept their solutions where appropriate? So now, they must not only teach and do research, but also possess government and force uptake??

Convenient way to downplay their contributions, right? You mean the research group that was the first in Africa to sequence the SARS-COV2 coronavirus did it just for promotion? Or that the COVID-19 vaccine they are about to start producing (the only one in Africa that I am aware of) is just for them and their grandmothershuh

I'm sure you know what a trade union is. So I hope you don't have any unrealistic expectations.
Now for your information, over the years, ASUU has made immense contributions to the nation. If you aren't too young, then you probably know that ASUU was one of the fiercest voices of opposition to successive military juntas.

But closer to their core mandate, ASUU came up with the idea of TETFund, one of the most innovative funding schemes for education anywhere in the world. TETFund is the only reason why the universities are where they are today (they would have entirely collapsed). In fact, the FG now regularly dips into TETFund to fund all sorts of programmes that have nothing to do with tertiary education.
Until what birth #EndSARS happen in educational sector, we will realise that government is not the Executives and Legislators but the people, in this case ASUU and NANS. If education is the bedrock of a national, if the standards of education determined the development level of a nation, then, we should start to search and come to term to who the real drivers of educational sector are. To me, they are the NUT and ASUU, without them, there can't be educational sector and if there is no educational sector, there cannot be a develop nation.

Remember the government are not the executives or the legislators but the people. My submission, Nigeria as a country in real and technical terms, is in the hands of the teachers/lecturer. This is an unwritten and hidden obligations of all educators.

You pretend like you have a govt that gives a crap about you.
Any of their pikin dey naija uni?
First thing first. You give and other accept or reject. If you say you don't give because people will not accept, the first question will be how many people have you given something and they rejected.

In this case, I am talking about ASUU determination to force the government, their employer, to accept their solutions on how they will be paid. So, if we assume ASUU has been providing solutions to Nigeria problems why not forcing the government to accept such solutions, must the force be on issue that will benefit them only?
EducationRe: ASUU, FG Meeting Inconclusive, Adjourned by TGM2015: 7:13am On Oct 16, 2020

I really can not understand your argument but you should note that ASUU members have always been proffering solutions to Nigeria problems, scientifically, technically and socially but government have never been looking their way angry All their researches end up on the pages of international journals and the whites always feed on these results to add to their own developments sad
From the post you quoted, it reads develop and push, did they push?

Anyway, for any lecturer to be relevant in his or her fields, to get to be recommended for professorship or maintain his/her professorship; they must write for research journals and publications. And the research must make sense, so, those researches you are referring to may not be for the purpose of helping the government but helping themselves to attain and maintained their career.

And again, you are referring to individual ASUU members and not ASUU as a union. Has ASUU as a union proffer solution(s) to any Nigeria problems before? If at all they have, what did they do to make it a reality? At least in the last 10 years, ASUU must have gone on strike for over 3 years accumulatively to get the government dance to their demands on what and how they MUST be paid.
EducationRe: ASUU, FG Meeting Inconclusive, Adjourned by TGM2015:
So our university lecturer can develop solutions to how they can be pay and push for it implementation but can not develop solutions to how Nigeria problems (electricity, government recruitment processes to absolve students they taught, procurement processes, refineries, computerising government processes to eliminate inefficient civil servants, etc.).

Government just approved 20 billion naira for e-procurement, if ASUU has helped the government, they may have been able to help the government to save close to N10bn and force the government to invest it on Nigerian universities.

Police Act 2020 was signed last month as confirmed by the reporter, meaning that Police Act 2020 was not in existence as at when the case was filed at the Federal High Court. So, how could a non existing Act be a subject matter in a court of law?

It would have been better the reporter provides us with the copy of the judgement order of at least produced a direct quote of the judgement not his/her interpretation of the judgment.

Secondary school: 8:00AM - 4:00PM
University: 8:00AM - 6:00PM

I used to teach some Lebanese and Pakistanis children private lessons from 4:30 to 6:30 in which I make up to N58,000 a month. I have to sacrifice that too if I accept the university work
If your lecturing job is about the post I quoted below, forget about it and enjoy your secondary school job. On your fiancé threat and to-be lecturer wife stuff, those are very clear red flags, never consider that in making your final decision but reconsider your relationship with her.

A known fact is that private universities in Nigeria are just like advanced secondary schools. But with your determination to start PhD, it shows that you have interest in lecturing job. It is easier to complete PhD programmes in Nigeria as a lecturer than being a school teacher.

Possible reasons that made her drank poison for loosing her phone.

-She's addicted to her phone.
-Her phone was her only source of happiness.
-She was not truly loved by her strict parents and had no one to get her another phone.
-Her parents are financially incapable of getting her another phone.
-She had no one to talk to when the suicide thought came in.

In all, the engineering factor of this fvckery was her addiction to her phone. She couldn't do without it, reason I won't fault anyone but her.
Or she will not be able to bear the shame that may follow if the person who stole the phone decides to bring the content in the phone to online social media. Who knows, she may even know the person that stole it and the reasons for stealing it.

Those reasons are not enough to commit suicide for slay queen like her. Or better she committed the suicide based on reasons far different from her loosing her phone.

Though he used symbolic terms that's a bit difficult for ordinary readers to grasp so we move closer to Jesus' brothers (born again Christians) to interpret such sacred secrets in the lay man's language! smiley

Obaseki has won this election because majority of APC leaders allows it.

APC lost Edo governorship election because it was choice of APC stalwarts that wants Oshiomole's power & by extension, Tinubu's influence in APC watered-down. A win in Edo will be a boost to Oshiomole, the party structure that see Oshiomole's out from being the Chairman are actively alive and not happy with his committee decisions to disqualify Obaseki.

Edo elections was decided when almost all APC governors rise against Obaseki disqualifications. The power to be in APC are fighting hard to make Tinubu irrelevant in APC major decisions.

Obaseki was very lucky to get the solidarity support of almost all governors in Nigeria who considered the trend of using party structures to denied automatic tickets for incumbent governor as a slap to their face. Obaseki was lucky that he wasn't the first, the politics surrounding Ambode lost has made a solid ground to such not to repeat itself. Ambode lost was the final straw that intensify the kicking out of Oshiomole, Obaseki case make sure Oshiomole's reign was buried.

Ooh, I forgot to add. Edo people stand for the sovereignty of their state like "Ó to gé" like "Edo no be Lagos". They made their choice and stood by it. Congratulations to the Edolites, na man you people be.
