Politics / Re: Borehole Controversy: I Am Disappointed In Obi - Tonto Dikeh by TGM2015: 8:18pm On Apr 10
immortalcrown:
Even Madam 40 seconds?

My question is, what exactly is bad about Obi's donation of boreholes? Don't the beneficiaries need the boreholes? What exactly is bad about it? If you attack my comment without mentioning exactly why the boreholes donation is bad, you are mentally-deranged.

If you suggest that Burna Boy and Davido should use their money to help the poor instead of spending the money on cars and jewelleries, fools will remind you that Burna Boy and Davido are not the government. The fools will say you should not tell a rich man how he should spend his money.

But the same fools act as if Obi is the government. The same fools try to tell Obi how he should spend his money. OBO allegedly gave orphanages 30 million Naira and there is no physical evidence of it for the public. Those who asked for evidence were informed that OBO owes nobody any explanation. But explanations are being demanded for Obi's donation of boreholes. When the government does a substandard project and you criticise it, online thugs will say "We are getting there, it is a gradual process". In fact, they will insist that the substandard project is ultramodern. But the same thugs are condemning the boreholes Obi donated. Double personality disorder.

If Obi provides water in Enugu, his haters will still say he is helping only his own tribe.

Let him do his things without minding the critics.
That is actually not a borehole, it was a water tank. He also commissioned a hand pump borehole. While the hand pump borehole may be commendable, maybe due to poor electricity or fuelling cost but a solar power one would have been better though cost higher.

For the water tank, ask yourself how will the tank be refilled with water? Obi knowing what he commissioned did posted edited picture of the water tank to conceal the true nature of the situation. Did he expect them to be fetching the water to fill the tank? Consider the stress in getting water from the manual borehole and the second round of stress in carrying the water and filling the tank. Key question is, why did Obi edit the water tank picture to conceal the true situation of what he commissioned?

Seems Nigeria took the right decision anyway.

I knew the arrests in Nigeria was more of money laundering and weapon proliferation than dollars rate stabilisation.

Family / Re: Can A Woman Love Her Husband And Not Love His Family? by TGM2015: 4:21pm On Feb 09
MisterBanny:
I always kept wondering about this. I have seen many homes break as a result of marrying a woman who despises her In-laws, and treats them with levity and disdain, yet claims to love her husband genuinely.
A once happy family could be in total disarray immediately some women get into that family.
Personally, I think if u love your husband, such love should be extended to every member of his nuclear and extended family members and same goes to the Man. I believe that genuine LOVE is infectious and contagious. I have seen a lot happening In today's marriages that I'm already scared of getting married. People can pretend throughout the dating and courting period, but immediately after the wedding, the beast and monster in them begin to Manifest. It's scary.

Almost all married woman are guilty of this. But the men almost do not have any issue with Loving their wive's families.
It even gets to the ugly point that, the wife makes a decree that no menmber of the man's family must ever visit them to stay for more than a day or two.

It depends. If the husband loves his family, it is impossible but if the husband did not have much interest or respect for his family, it will be a less difficult thing.

The basic principle here is, you cannot say you love a thing/person without getting yourself to love or put up with what that thing/person loves.

Properties / Seeking Opinion On Real Estate Offering NHF And RSA Loan by TGM2015: 12:10am On Jan 15
I have checked the recent waved of Real Estate Offering opportunities of securing NHF loan and/or 25% RSA benefits to enable their prospective house owner to buy block of flat or bungalow.

My suspicious is that all real estate companies that I know before these influx, like over 5 years of existence, are not offering this NHF and RSA opportunities.

So, I want shared experiences or opinions and information on these companies. Are they real? Though FMBN and NHF have made accessing these loans practically impossible, should one patronise these new companies, offering their assistance?

Attached are some screenshot of related advertisement as I am able to see on Facebook some minutes ago.

Please, I need some contributions on these. Thank you.

Politics / The President's New Year Address To The Nation (full Address) by TGM2015: 7:38am On Jan 01
PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU’S NEW YEAR ADDRESS TO THE NATION

Dear Compatriots,

It gives me immense joy to welcome each and everyone of you – young and old- to this brand new year 2024. We must lift up our hands to Almighty God, in gratitude, for his grace and benevolence to our country and our lives in the year 2023 that has just gone by.

Though the past year was a very challenging one, it was eventful in so many ways. For our country, it was a transition year that saw a peaceful, orderly and successful transfer of power from one administration to another, marking yet another remarkable step in our 24 years of unbroken democracy.

It was a year, you the gracious people of this blessed nation, entrusted your faith in me with a clear mandate to make our country better, to revamp our economy, restore security within our borders, revitalise our floundering industrial sector, boost agricultural production, increase national productivity and set our country on an irreversible path towards national greatness that we and future generations will forever be proud of.

The task of building a better nation and making sure we have a Nigeria society that cares for all her citizens is the reason I ran to become your President. It was the core of my Renewed Hope campaign message on the basis of which you voted me as President.

Everything I have done in office, every decision I have taken and every trip I have undertaken outside the shores of our land, since I assumed office on 29 May 2023, have been done in the best interest of our country.

Over the past seven months of our administration, I have taken some difficult and yet necessary decisions to save our country from fiscal catastrophe. One of those decisions was the removal of fuel subsidy which had become an unsustainable financial burden on our country for more than four decades. Another was the removal of the chokehold of few people on our foreign exchange system that benefited only the rich and the most powerful among us. Without doubt, these two decisions brought some discomfort to individuals, families and businesses.

I am well aware that for some time now the conversations and debates have centred on the rising cost of living, high inflation which is now above 28% and the unacceptable high under-employment rate.

From the boardrooms at Broad Street in Lagos to the main-streets of Kano and Nembe Creeks in Bayelsa, I hear the groans of Nigerians who work hard every day to provide for themselves and their families.

I am not oblivious to the expressed and sometimes unexpressed frustrations of my fellow citizens. I know for a fact that some of our compatriots are even asking if this is how our administration wants to renew their h ope.

Dear Compatriots, take this from me: the time may be rough and tough, however, our spirit must remain unbowed because tough times never last. We are made for this period, never to flinch, never to falter. The socio-economic challenges of today should energize and rekindle our love and faith in the promise of Nigeria. Our current circumstances should make us resolve to work better for the good of our beloved nation. Our situation should make us resolve that this new year 2024, each and everyone of us will commit to be better citizens.

Silently, we have worked to free captives from abductors. While we can’t beat our chest yet that we had solved all the security problems, we are working hard to ensure that we all have peace of mind in our homes, places of work and on the roads.

Having laid the groundwork of our economic recovery plans within the last seven months of 2023, we are now poised to accelerate the pace of our service delivery across sectors.

Just this past December during COP28 in Dubai, the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and I agreed and committed to a new deal to speed up the delivery of the Siemens Energy power project that will ultimately deliver reliable supply of electricity to our homes and businesses under the Presidential Power Initiative which began in 2018.

Other power installation projects to strengthen the reliability of our transmission lines and optimise the integrity of our National grid are ongoing across the country.

My administration recognises that no meaningful economic transformation can happen without steady electricity supply. In 2024, we are moving a step further in our quest to restart local refining of petroleum products with Port Harcourt Refinery, and the Dangote Refinery which shall fully come on stream.

To ensure constant food supply, security and affordability, we will step up our plan to cultivate 500,000 hectares of farmlands across the country to grow maize, rice, wheat, millet and other staple crops. We launched the dry season farming with 120,000 hectares of land in Jigawa State last November under our National Wheat Development Programme.

In this new year, we will race against time to ensure all the fiscal and tax policies reforms we need to put in place are codified and simplified to ensure the business environment does not destroy value. On every foreign trip I have embarked on, my message to investors and other business people has been the same. Nigeria is ready and open for business.

I will fight every obstacle that impedes business competitiveness in Nigeria and I will not hesitate to remove any clog hindering our path to making Nigeria a destination of choice for local and foreign investments.

In my 2024 Budget presentation to the National Assembly, I listed my administration’s 8 priority areas to include national defence and internal security, job creation, macro-economic stability, investment environment optimization, human capital development, poverty reduction and social security. Because we take our development agenda very seriously, our 2024 budget reflects the premium we placed on achieving our governance objectives.

We will work diligently to make sure every Nigerian feels the impact of their government. The economic aspirations and the material well-being of the poor, the most vulnerable and the working people shall not be neglected. It is in this spirit that we are going to implement a new national living wage for our industrious workers this new year. It is not only good economics to do this, it is also a morally and politically correct thing to do.

I took an oath to serve this country and give my best at all times. Like I said in the past, no excuse for poor performance from any of my appointees will be good enough.

It is the reason I put in place a Policy Coordination, Evaluation, Monitoring and Delivery Unit in the Presidency to make sure that governance output improves the living condition of our people.

We have set the parameters for evaluation. Within the first quarter of this new year, Ministers and Heads of Agencies with a future in this administration that I lead will continue to show themselves.

Fellow Nigerians, my major ambition in government as a Senator in the aborted Third Republic, as Governor of Lagos State for eight years and now as the President of this blessed country is to build a fair and equitable society and close the widening inequality. While I believe the rich should enjoy their legitimately-earned wealth, our minimum bargain must be that, any Nigerian that works hard and diligent enough will have a chance to get ahead in life. I must add that because God didn’t create us with equal talents and strengths, I can not guarantee that we will have equal outcomes when we work hard. But my government, in this new year 2024 and beyond, will work to give every Nigerian equal opportunity to strive and to thrive.

For the new year to yield all its good benefits to us as individuals and collectively as a people we must be prepared to play our part. The job of building a prosperous nation is not the job of the President, Governors, Ministers, Lawmakers and government officials alone. Our destinies are connected as members of this household of Nigeria. Our language, creed, ethnicity and religious beliefs even when they are not same should never make us work at cross purposes.

In this new year, let us resolve that as joint-heirs to the Nigerian Commonwealth, we will work for the peace, progress and stability of our country. I extend this call to my political opponents in the last election. Election is over. It’s time for all of us to work together for the sake of our country.

We must let the light each of us carries – men and women, young and old- shine bright and brighter to illuminate our path to a glorious dawn.

I wish all of us a happy and prosperous year 2024.

May God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Education / Re: Canada Raises Cost-Of-Living Requirement For International Students by TGM2015: 10:14am On Dec 08, 2023
For 2024, a single applicant will need to show they have $20,635, representing 75 per cent of low-income cut-off (LICO), in addition to their first year of tuition and travel costs. The change will apply to new study permit applications received on or after Jan.1, 2024.

How much is $20,635 (Canadian Dollars) when converted to naira?

Based on the screenshot and the quote above, the Canadian government is saying one needs about $20,635 (N11.9m) representing 75% or about N16m to have a decent living above poverty line in Canada for 6 months right? They have move the LICO estimate from $13,757 (2023) to $20,635 (2024).

Please, how much do I need to live a semi-rich lifestyle in Nigeria for six months? I believed in measuring the strength of a currency against it purchasing power in it local country than it exchange rate against other currencies.

Politics / President Tinubu's Independence Day Speech (Full Text) by TGM2015: 8:29am On Oct 01, 2023
ADDRESS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR, PRESIDENT AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 63RD INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY OF NIGERIA ON SUNDAY, 1ST OCTOBER, 2023

Dear Compatriots,

It is my unique honour to address you on this day, the 63rd anniversary of our nation’s independence, both as the President of our dear country and, simply, as a fellow Nigerian.

On this solemn yet hopeful day, let us commend our founding fathers and mothers. Without them, there would be no modern Nigeria. From the fading embers of colonialism, their activism, dedication and leadership gave life to the belief in Nigeria as a sovereign and independent nation.

Let us, at this very moment, affirm that as Nigerians, we are all endowed with the sacred rights and individual gifts that God has bestowed on us as a nation and as human beings. No one is greater or lesser than the other. The triumphs that Nigeria has achieved shall define us. The travails we have endured shall strengthen us. And no other nation or power on this earth shall keep us from our rightful place and destiny. This nation belongs to you, dear people. Love and cherish it as your very own.

Nigeria is remarkable in its formation and essential character. We are a broad and dynamic blend of ethnic groups, religions, traditions and cultures. Yet, our bonds are intangible yet strong, invisible yet universal. We are joined by a common thirst for peace and progress, by the common dream of prosperity and harmony and by the unifying ideals of tolerance and justice.

Forging a nation based on the fair application of these noble principles to a diverse population has been a task of significant blessing but also a serial challenge. Some people have said an independent Nigeria should never have come into existence. Some have said that our country would be torn apart. They are forever mistaken. Here, our nation stands and here we shall remain.

This year, we passed a significant milestone in our journey to a better Nigeria. By democratically electing a 7th consecutive civilian government, Nigeria has proven that commitment to democracy and the rule of law remains our guiding light.

At my inauguration, I made important promises about how I would govern this great nation. Among those promises, were pledges to reshape and modernize our economy and to secure the lives, liberty and property of the people. I said that bold reforms were necessary to place our nation on the path of prosperity and growth. On that occasion, I announced the end of the fuel subsidy.

I am attuned to the hardships that have come. I have a heart that feels and eyes that see. I wish to explain to you why we must endure this trying moment. Those who sought to perpetuate the fuel subsidy and broken foreign exchange policies are people who would build their family mansion in the middle of a swamp. I am different. I am not a man to erect our national home on a foundation of mud. To endure, our home must be constructed on safe and pleasant ground.

Reform may be painful, but it is what greatness and the future require, We now carry the costs of reaching a future Nigeria where the abundance and fruits of the nation are fairly shared among all, not hoarded by a select and greedy few. A Nigeria where hunger, poverty and hardship are pushed into the shadows of a never-fading past.

There is no joy in seeing the people of this nation shoulder burdens that should have been shed years ago. I wish today’s difficulties did not exist. But we must endure if we are to reach the good side of our future.

My government is doing all that it can to ease the load. I will now outline the path we are taking to relieve the stress on our families and households.

We have embarked on several public sector reforms to stabilize the economy, direct fiscal and monetary policy to fight inflation, encourage production, ensure the security of lives and property and lend more support to the poor and the vulnerable.

Based on our talks with labour, business and other stakeholders, we are introducing a provisional wage increment to enhance the federal minimum wage without causing undue inflation. For the next six months, the average low-grade worker shall receive an additional Twenty-Five Thousand naira per month.

To ensure better grassroots development, we set up an Infrastructure Support Fund for states to invest in critical areas. States have already received funds to provide relief packages against the impact of rising food and other prices.

Making the economy more robust by lowering transport costs will be key. In this regard, we have opened a new chapter in public transportation through the deployment of cheaper, safer Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses across the nation. These buses will operate at a fraction of current fuel prices, positively affecting transport fares.

New CNG conversion kits will start coming in very soon as all hands are on deck to fast-track the usually lengthy procurement process. We are also setting up training facilities and workshops across the nation to train and provide new opportunities for transport operators and entrepreneurs. This is a groundbreaking moment where, as a nation, we embrace more efficient means to power our economy. In making this change, we also make history.

I pledged a thorough housecleaning of the den of malfeasance the CBN had become. That housecleaning is well underway. A new leadership for the Central Bank has been constituted. Also, my special investigator will soon present his findings on past lapses and how to prevent similar reoccurrences.

Henceforth, monetary policy shall be for the benefit of all and not the exclusive province of the powerful and wealthy.

Wise tax policy is essential to economic fairness and development. I have inaugurated a Committee on Tax Reforms to improve the efficiency of tax administration in the country and address fiscal policies that are unfair or hinder the business environment and slow our growth.

To boost employment and urban incomes, we are providing investment funding for enterprises with great potential. Similarly, we are increasing investment in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

Commencing this month, the social safety net is being extended through the expansion of cash transfer programs to an additional 15 million vulnerable households.

My administration shall always accord the highest priority to the safety of the people. Inter-Service collaboration and intelligence sharing have been enhanced. Our Service Chiefs have been tasked with the vital responsibility of rebuilding the capacities of our security services.

Here, I salute and commend our gallant security forces for keeping us safe and securing our territorial integrity. Many have paid the ultimate sacrifice. We remember them today and their families. We shall equip our forces with the ways and means needed to perform their urgent task on behalf of the people.

We shall continue to make key appointments in line with the provisions of the Constitution and with fairness toward all. Women, Youth and the physically challenged shall continue to be given due regard in these appointments.

May I take this opportunity to congratulate the National Assembly for its role in the quick take-off of this administration through the performance of its constitutional duties of confirmation and oversight.

I similarly congratulate the judiciary as a pillar of democracy and fairness.

I also thank members of our dynamic civil society organizations and labour unions for their dedication to Nigerian democracy. We may not always agree but I value your advice and recommendations. You are my brothers and sisters and you have my due respect.

Fellow compatriots, the journey ahead will not be navigated by fear or hatred. We can only achieve our better Nigeria through courage, compassion and commitment as one indivisible unit.

I promise that I shall remain committed and serve faithfully. I also invite all to join this enterprise to remake our beloved nation into its better self. We can do it, We must do it. We shall do it.!!!

I wish you all a happy 63rd Independence Anniversary.

Thank you for listening.
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Please don't prove me wrong about your dumbness because I don't think you are one. If APC can't take their invalid votes to court, was their own election different?

If NNPP was given 1000 votes , APC 600, PDP 300, others 50 and invalid votes 5, and it was later found out that the number of invalid votes was for example 500. isn't 500 not supposed to be minus from each party's votes equitably?
I know that your IQ is very low and not your fault but being dumb is definitely a choice.
Valid argument, but we don't have much detail for now but have you considered another possibilities like in the scenarios below.

ANNOUNCED RESULTS
NNPC 80
APC 15
OTHERS 5

RESULTS AFTER REMOVING UNSIGNED BALLOTS (SCENARIO A)
NNPC 50
APC 8
OTHERS 2
UNSIGNED 40

RESULTS AFTER REMOVING UNSIGNED BALLOTS (SCENARIO B)
NNPC 40
APC 15
OTHERS 5
UNSIGNED 40

In scenarios A, the election should be cancelled and rerun be ordered. That is the angle you are looking at.

In scenario B, there is no need for cancellation because it is "clearly obvious" that the invalid ballot papers are for NNPC.

You mean that INEC didn't sign and collate these 165000 votes? Or BVAS didn't record them?
I didn’t mean any of what you posted. The news stated that, some over 165,000 ballot papers were not signed/dated/stamped, the electoral (Legislated) law stated that a ballot paper must be stamped, dated, and signed.

INEC or any of her representatives err in law by counting, recording, and collating unsigned / unstamped / undated ballot paper.

My post is simply saying, you can only argue at the Tribunal with content in a legislated (Electoral) law and not a regulatory guidelines (INEC election guidelines) issued by a legislated body (INEC). It was law that established INEC, so INEC issued instruction/guidelines/policies can not be recognised above the law that established it because she derived her powers from that law and expected to operates within the same law. Without Electoral law, there is no INEC.
Politics / Re: APC Counsel Explains Why Kano Tribunal Judgment Favoured Them (Video) by TGM2015: 6:41pm On Sep 20, 2023
The court deducted 165,663 votes from Yusuf’s total as invalid votes, stating that the affected ballot papers were not stamped or signed and therefore declared invalid.

According to the counsel, they presented over 160,000 invalid ballot papers used in the election and it is on this basis that the court declared Gawuna winner.

Petitioners at the Tribunal are expected to provide evidences of their allegations in all irregularities they hold claims on.

The court rules based on convincing evidences recognised by act legislated into law before them and not oral claims of irregularities or regulatory guidelines issued by institution created by legislated law.

Having watch the recorded video of the above Zoom Meeting and checking on the website including the engagement in the thread of above post, I observed the following :

1. The company does not have a physical address.
2. They didn’t enable video of the 2 speakers and the moderator during the Zoom meeting. Why are they hiding the faces by disabling video during the Zoom meeting?
3. The company claims that their CEO name is Chukwuemeka Ndukwe, but do provide the verified Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn account?
4. A search on the CEO name on LinkedIn shows a profile without a picture, with last update work experience with KPMG, there is no information on connection with H28 Homes.
5. During the Zoom meeting they showcase a website homes.h28.io and website to choose preferred homes to buy. A check shows that the post was made years back and contains only 3 pictures of homes for sale and they are claiming they can process for hundreds of registered members.

You can not be operating financial related businesses and your company, the CEO, and staff are all anonymous. Only fraudsters do such.

Again, how will you do a zoom meeting and you the moderator, the CEO that did the work through, and the lawyer that spoke do not enable video, all you zooms are behind the camera? Why hiding your physical identity if you are not a fraud?

You are even showcasing advertised homes posted years back in your Zoom meeting.

You guys are fraudsters.

I can safely conclude they are fraudster and Nigerians should be aware they are.

The last time I checked, he was still under the contract of Federal government through NNPC now NNPLC to secure oil facilities in Niger Delta.

So sure, he will not be securing without being license to carry arms and ammunition, especially, those that are superior to the criminal he has to fight.

Hello guys. Greetings to you. Please don't mind muy grammar, I'm not here for English classes lol.
My first child's almost 3years, trust me that girl can be playing and roaming about 24/7. As long as she's not asleep, her mum and I are always talking, don't do this, don't do that. Sometimes I lose my cool you know. I'm planing to enroll her into a conventional school by September because she seems really smart. My question here is, how do I handle her, she can't just stay in one place and our apartment is not really safe for her to be playing outside.
Parents and expert in the house please assist a brother with an idea of what to do.
Thank you
Why not buy her educational tablets, with free/paid educational app from Play store, most importantly, YouTube kids. If you are using android phone, you can setup family link, enabled you monitor and control her activities on the phone.

If you have smart television, explore installing YouTube kids and get yourself some rest. Anyway, you should be happy she is playing around, as most people as advise. Your duty is to make the house safer for her. She will learn her limit with time.

On her starting school, please if you noticed she gentle within a month, change that school immediately without thinking about cost. A little behaviour change is expected but when the change is significant in terms of her hyperactiveness, CHANGE THE SCHOOL without a second thought.

Politics / FULL TEXT: What Peter Obi, Oyedepo Said In Leaked “religious War” Phone Call by TGM2015: 7:28pm On Apr 02, 2023
On Obidepo (Yes daddy) audio leak,

Kenneth the Labour Party presidential campaign spokesman has confirmed the audio to be real but disagreed with "religion war" attached to it.

Bishop Oyedepo has not denied it but said he doesn't campaign for politicians but only give them advise.

FIJ has subjected the audio to AI test and confirmed it was not doctored.

Premium Times has comes up with transcript of the audio conversation as reproduced below.

Peter Obi: Good morning Daddy.

Bishop Oyedepo: Praise the Lord, how are you Sir?

Peter Obi: Fine Daddy, good morning Sir.

Bishop Oyedepo: Amen, in Jesus name we are going to get bright results.

Peter Obi: Thank you Daddy, when I hear these your calls and prayers, Daddy it’s very dear to me. Like I keep saying if this works, you people will never regret the support.

Bishop Oyedepo: Amen! Amen! We look forward to God’s intervention.

Peter Obi: Thank you, Daddy, I need you to speak to your people in South West and Kwara, the Christians in South West and Kwara, this is a religious war.

Bishop Oyedepo: I believe that… I believe that… I believe that… You know I did a release ‘Nigeria Going Forward’ and I am coming with the second one today. I wanted it out when they won’t have any time to do damage control. But in the name of Jesus this would be a success. You know what I said in today’s own? A sickling nation like Nigeria will require a strong and healthy personality. I said anyone whose source of wealth could not be verified should not have access to governance. So all we are doing is appealing to the conscience of people to know where to go. But I want to assure you, in the name of Jesus, that the result will be favourable.

Peter Obi: Thank you Daddy.

Bishop Oyedepo: So relax yourself don’t be apprehensive. Are you in Lagos or Abuja?

Peter Obi: I am in Onitsha now

Bishop Oyedepo: So you will be there for the election?

Peter Obi: Yes Sir

Bishop Oyedepo: Very good, that is where to be, I say all Nigerians have an equal stake, nobody has the right to claim that he is dashing something to someone, we are coming out of it, so how is the east generally?

Peter Obi: East is okay. East is correct.

Bishop Oyedepo: And the Middle Belt?

Peter Obi: It is okay, Middle Belt is okay but places like Kogi, Kwara and Niger are worrisome places.

Bishop Oyedepo: We will get to Kwara

Peter Obi: Fantastic, I went to Kwara and visited Olofa of Offa who told me that nobody had ever come here, with you no problem but the Christian community in Kwara and Niger, and I am also working in Kogi same way.

Bishop Oyedepo: Okay then I will target this clip to them; I will make sure it gets them.

Peter Obi: Thank you I will be looking forward to the release as well, please send it to me.

Bishop Oyedepo: Okay I will do that, God bless you.

Peter Obi: Thank you, Daddy.

You can't lend your support to anyone who doesn't value human lives but you can support tinubu that says nothing about endsars but defended the security by asking "what are the youth doing at the lekki toll gate", you can support tinubu that asels where are the cows when fasoranti daughters as killed, you can support tinubu that never led his voice to the killing of his people in Ogun and oyo until igbohobcame to their recuse..

See bros you can support anyone you like, it's ur right but don't try to insult the sensibilities of your reader, they can read through you..

First thing to note is one Obi has direct power to call and fight for justice as at the time of Akwuzu River incident but the cases you cited on Tinubu he has no direct power to fight for justice for them. Secondly, the Lekki Tollgate massacre issues is absolutely untrue, you will asked why DJ Switch was never granted asylum. Why after heated argue in support of Lekki Tollgate massacre at the UK Parliament, the Parliament never considered it after receiving security and intelligence report.

Let me tell you one thing, Army bullet can kill at least 4 people when shot at a close range. A logical and objective looks at the clustered crowd, numbers of army shooting and how long they shot does not justify the narration of massacre. Let us assume 5 armies were shooting for at least 10 minutes, and a bullet will kill 4 persons at least with over 10 bullets per minute, we will have nothing less than 2,000 dead Nigerians (5 armies x 10 bullets x 10 minutes x 4 persons) with as much blood as possible staining the ground.

You can also check my analysis based on Premium Times reports that time, everything does not add up, 2 years after no proof of massacre yet.

Politics / Presidential Election: I Have Decided, What About You? by TGM2015: 5:41am On Feb 18, 2023
We are entering an elections week who are you voting for?

Why are you voting your candidate?

Let take a cursory look at previous elections and 2023 Presidential Candidates .

2015 Elections
Nigerians have 2 major choices to vote. Buhari and Jonathan.
Jonathan was voted out because of him romancing corruption, political rascality, and perceived deliberate action to allow insecurity to advance in the North East.
Buhari was voted to tackle corruption, secure the North East while hoping on his vice to build confidence in judiciary and improve the economy. Buhari was never believed to have capacity to improve economy but his vice who has been steering economic team from day 1 of Buhari 8 years.

2019 Elections
Nigerians have 2 major choices to vote again. Buhari and Atiku.

Atiku has never be an option for political enlighten individuals and business focus investors/managers, hence, Buhari because available lesser evil to be voted for as he did not live to the expectation of tackling corruption and insecurity. His reelection was boost by his vice president economy stimulus programme and his goodwill. Unfortunately, the news has it that the vice recommended the creation of a ministry to take over these programmes possibly to prepare for running for Presidency after his principal tenure. Worst decision by the VP if you asked me.

2023 Presidential Elections
We are now approaching 2023 presidential election, Nigerians have 4 major candidates to vote for Kwankwaso, Atiku, Obi and Tinubu.

What are the baggage these candidates are carrying or accusations against them?

Kwankwaso
I have not seen any as far as political environment for 2023 is concern. He commands considerable large crowd in Kano and some few northern states. He is projected to have considerable number of votes but will not win 2023 presidential election. No need to get more information on him.

Atiku
He was accused of corruption while working at Customs, the accusations he never deemed to address.
He was accused of not be a principle man, this he has consistently shown by his political prostitution and going back to his vomit on what he said about PDP and APC when he left one for another.
He proudly declared publicly selling of Nigeria owned assets and corporation to friends and family, he even defended it.
Personally, I am not voting such a candidate. At least, we have records of how those privatisation he did as VP, how they all went. Nigeria and Nigerians lost on them all, I mean, all the privatisation that Atiku supervised.

Obi
He was accused of 2 things: incorrect statistics and accomplice in Akwuzu rivers killing.
For incorrect statistics, this possibly might have been traced to the source of data used. In recent time, that accusation is no more relevant, Obi figures have now been confirmed to be more accurate.
Akwuzu Rivers killing and link to James Nwafor. Akwuzu SARS killings was traced to when, according to people of the land, Obi gave a blanket order to shoot MASSOB members on sight when they are disturbing the peace of the land. His attention was later drew to Akwuzu rivers where James Nwafor led SARS was alleged to have been dumping killed residents. Obi ordered investigations into it, but no report or action was taken. James was recommended to the next governors and was sacked at the heat of ENDSARS judicial panel at Anambra and was helped to escape justice.
When Obi was asked about the Akwuzu river killings, he had this 👇 to say

"The Awkuzu SARS was there before I became a Governor. It was a police formation that used to be controlled by the Federal Government. It was like when someone said that I ordered people to arrest him, I was not the police; I was the Governor”
Source: https://dailypost.ng/2022/10/24/peter-obi-opens-up-on-awkuzu-sars-killings/

If you are Governor, you are aware of gruesome murder of residents and indigenes of your state, and you feel it was not your responsibility to investigate and make the culprit face the wrath of the law, it means 2 things, it is either you approve of it or you simply by your nature do not care for sanctity of human lives.

Though Obi has Pandora papers linked to him, I have decided, based on Akwuzu Rivers, James Nwafor being helped to escape justice, and Obi response to the allegation, not to lend my support to someone who has no regards for human lives.

Tinubu
He has so many accusations against him, his age, secondary school attended, genuineness of his first degree, drug lord, failing health, Agberonism, no regards for Christian by picking a Muslim Muslim tickets, etc.

On his age, records shows he has been maintaining that same date of birth for decades. I also read Simi's mother confirming the same on twitter. That time Simi was one of the critics of Tinubu until her mother made that tweets. Simi's mother has worked in same company with Tinubu according to that tweet if I can recollect well.

On secondary school attended, he has own up that the initial record was an error as he didn't complete his secondary education before moving abroad. We are told he went to remedial class and got admitted for first degree where he passed with first class. The University has confirmed that he was graduated.

Drug lord, was as a result of civil suite against him link to some drug cartel. Based on available information as released by the opposition, the case was a civil case not a criminal case. Drug pushing case is always a criminal case. There was a plead bargain, you don't do plead bargain on drug pushing case. Tinubu was said to have forfeited some huge amount of Dollars in his account, if it was a drug pushing case, you forfeit ALL not some. Tinubu associates disclosed that after his account was linked as beneficiary to drug transactions, the government discovered he has not be paying taxes and the money "forfeited" was the bargained calculated taxes. Based on my banking and financial knowledge, this sound obtainable.

Failing health (due to age)
I may be bias somehow here, not for Tinubu but for older people. Most of the health related issue noticed about Tinubu are connected to 3 things, age, knee surgery and educational difficulties based on my observation.

Tinubu is getting old but not losing his mental capacity. He never denied his health challenges, but has constantly defend his mental capacity. You wonder why universities do not let go of their retired professors. Have we not seen villages elder that are almost getting blind and being supported to walk, still presiding over decisions making and pronouncing sound judgement? This is my actual bias, I don't accept looking down on older people with age related challenges, their experiences and guidance are always needed.

Tinubu had in recent time, undergone knee surgery, so I can understand his unable to stand for long and climb staircases effectively. Educational difficulties, as an educationist with experience in human resources, I can bet you that most first class graduates are poor public speakers except they are developed or they developed themselves. Again, even when you are a good public speaker, and you have left public speaking for long, you may have difficulty composing yourself in your next public speaking. Again, anxiety and pressure, can also affect your public speaking in some occasions. This is another bias, as I have a lot of personal experience on this.

Agberonism
This fact is acknowledged but I have also discovered that these Lagos agberos, apart from them contributing to high cost of transport fare and harassing motorists daily, they make bus stop safer and turn illegal bus stop to legal, easing the trekking distance for commuters. The danfos drivers also enjoy some immunity against law enforcement arresting them for driving licences and vehicles particulars. Anyway, agberos are seen all over the southern states and not only in Lagos.

Muslims Muslim tickets
Personally, I look through political activities and decisions throughout the game of politics and political lens. Judging an economists through the lens of accountants, will always result to failure no matter how good the economists are. But key word is what is the personality of Tinubu and his vice towards protecting the interests of Christians and other non-Muslim religions? The past and present life records of these two had shown they have not been discriminating individuals or making political policy based on religion and ethnic sentiments.

I have thoroughly appraised the individualism of the 3 topmost candidates, check the political dynamics and federal political acceptance (I really don't want BUHARI-NASS of First term to happen to Nigeria again, we suffered the implications in his second term), compared the accusations against their responses and my personal experiences...

I believe my support should be to
TINUBU of All Progressive Congress
I wish him best of luck.

WhizdomXX:

And please as a business person, who do you think that is?

For the purpose of investment in Nigeria market, political analysts has predicted a non-disputed win for BAT, that has been the basis for investor still investing despite having election in less than a month because there is no uncertainty as to who becomes next Nigeria president.

Remember pre-2015, the stock market was greatly affected negatively because there are uncertainty on the next Nigeria president. Political environment favours Buhari and Jonathan led FG controlled the national apparatus including the INEC. Until 2015, power of incumbency always determined who wins the elections.
