Lagos is not as people say it is. In fact, the GRA in Port Harcourt is more neater and nicer than Lekki.

Lekki was nothing to write home about during my stay there.
You went to a few overhyped parts of Lagos, and you think that defines the whole Lagos?

GRA in PH is cool sha; it's the only place in PH that I feel comfortable whenever I visit.

I just sat down and did some calculations and noticed I spend nothing less than 8k daily on feeding my wife n kids and also fueling my car and generator, some one said I am extravagant ,pls how true it ?
You are not extravagant but you may need to learn to start buying in bulk as it saves more money in the long run. I can be dead broke for 2-3 months but food, fuel, diesel, home and office supplies and internet will not be my problem cos they have been sorted months in advance.

You sound like a 'Bat' supporter or APC. He has been in school Oga. He graduated and wanted to pick his certificate.
A man that loves schooling... That is why he invested heavily school, unlike Tinubu without certificate that is incoherent.... A man that want to feed 50 million youth with agbado and cassava after sending them to Maiduguri.
And ,You sound like someone who jumps to conclusions hastily.

Meanwhile, you say He has been in school- even in the heat of Covid, when many schools went remote? Ok ooo.

You see how you behuh After 4 years? Na for abroad he take contest Primarieshuh? By the way, he went schooling and he came back with another certificate unlike your Tinubu that wen to France for health care and still can't raise flag........
Tinubu like his boss Buhari don't have certificate that is why they don't value ASSU
stop with the assumptions. I am not a Tinubu supporter.

I said ALMOST 4 years cos Atiku has been outside most of the time between the last elections and recent times. He came in for primaries then jetted back out. He has been more of a visitor to Nigeria. If you have any facts to the contrary share it, without jumping to conclusions and including other matters, like I am a BAT supporter. Ok?

This is weak!

Don't tell us it is an Old Wives tale, show us it is an old wives tale. Do that by refuting the specific allegations, not by making assumptions about US or FBIs action or inaction.

No one is debating His freedom of Speech here. It's the implication of the speech that is in issue.

Exercising ones right to vote and be voted for doesn't translate to imposition.
No it does not, but saying "It is my turn" does! Cos it disregards every other persons right to take a turn and does not take into account the will of the people.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Possible To Answer The Call Of God Without A Clear Vision? by TheGift:
Goalnaldo:
Sometime ago during one of the crossing over service the holy Spirit descended heavily and asked each one of us what God will like to do for us. I said I want to be a great man of God. He said he has been waiting to hear this from my mouth.

Oil was poured upon me that night and I was mandated. Few years past, I never made any move to start the work of God, instead I keep applying for jobs, trying several things I learned from this forum but no one yielded anything positive.

Yesterday (Sunday) the holy Spirit descended again. He says one day I will do his work that the earlier I start the better for me. If not every other thing I put my hands on will fall.

I'm bothered because unlike other people that are called, I don't see any vision or revelation or anything that clearly shows me this path. What's your advice on this? Please I need your opinions.
Every believer is already called of God.

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called” Ephesians 4: 1

The word Church is from the Greek word Ekklesia, which means “the called out ones”.

Searching for some special calling is a distraction from the main thing we have been called unto ; which is to Love God and We do that by also Loving our neighbors as our selves.

Why do you want to be a great Man of God? Why not just be a true child of God? Do you want recognition for yourself or for God?

When you focus on love, your unique gifts and talents will come into focus.

Stop waiting for thunder and lightening, sometimes it’s just a still small voice.

Or change jobs to one that pays much more.

I am on the verge of making a decision, I need advice, my landlord is on my neck, as his rent for the last year running remains 50k, I have paid 100k, as the rent for a self-contain is 150k in my area in Owerri. Now he has given me two weeks to pay the balance of 50k or risk getting a quiet notice, as he said their quiet notice is alien to the law because the area is a student area. I want to ask my boss at my work place to help me with the money when he pays he can deduct it or I will give him back. I met some of my coworkers and they advised me to meet our boss, is it right to do so?
As much as possible, do not borrow from anyone.

But if you must , I think one of the best people you can borrow from is someone who is going to pay you some money at some point any way, like your boss I.e your company.

Still to preserve your dignity, be careful how you phrase it. I would be asking for a salary advance rather than a loan.

You may not even need to disclose the specifics, just that it is an emergency. But if you must, it’s good that the money is being asked for a universal essential ie a roof over your head.

Only a foolish Boss will be expecting peak performance from a staff who is worrying about where to sleep, what to eat and how to get to and from work.
