KashApp: It is love...she’s the perfect woman for you....smh!! You people will see things clearly and you still be asking for advice; sometimes, it makes me feel some stories here are not real sef.
Like...I dinno understand why OP is still asking questions that is not making sense....
I work as a security officer in a community, I usually work from 7:00am - 3pm in a secondary school, and also resume night duty by 7pm in a community close to my house The landlord association gave us a warning that we must check all cars coming in and going out of the estate and we have been performing our duties in a polite way.. About 11:35pm last night, we heard the horn of a strange car requesting that we should open the gate, I switch on my touch to check those inside the car, it was three abled young men and lady inside the car, in a polite way I ask them where they are heading to and they mentioned a popular rich man in the community, as usual, I told them to open the booth of there car which they refused to open, I told them to drive back to where they are coming from but before I could know what's happening,. They got down from the car and threathing to deal with us if the gate is not opened...they forced the gate open and drove inside the community,my colleague we're just watching the whole scenario as I drag issues with them... I don't know the report they gave the chairman of the landlords association, they just got to our checkpoint this morning and told me I have been fired without paying me off, I told them I haven't done anything wrong and was just carrying out my duties,I was told never to come close to the area again or else I will be arrested. I left there in annoyance, I was only carrying out my duties but now I have been Sacked for carrying out order... I don't know what this country is turning to again...
Hey dear, you'll get a better job...alright? No pressure.
Sequel to my previous post about my boss and I. It was a dramatic day for me yesterday. While everyone was enjoying Valentine's day celebration, I was summoned to a panel to explain my reasons for having to yell at my superior at work and not reporting to HR just like everyone has been suggesting on the comment section. So I honoured the panel while a member of the board of directors was invited to hear from both parties. My boss was emphasizing on the fact that I don't do the duties assigned to me, which is a BIG FAT LIE. Basically, he didn't have any cogent reason for his negative actions towards me. It was just pure hatred. I was then asked to talk, then I told the panel that since I was posted to his department, I've been getting negative vibes from him for no reason. I endured the whole hatred for 2 years and 3months under him without any retaliation. Luckily, the MD had been briefed about the whole thing. Now, i need you all to understand that I have a personal relationship with the MD. So while the panel was ongoing, the MD called on zoom and interfered in the meeting. After hearing from both of us, he gladly ordered that my now EX BOSS be transferred to our portharcourt branch while someone else takes over with immediate effect. Before I decided to yell at him, I had already made up my mind for whatever the outcome would be cos I had been pushed to the wall. Then the promotion even worsened the whole issue to the point that he couldn't hold the hatred other than to show it to me. During pep talk this morning, y'all needed to see the look on his face. It was obvious he wanted me out, but to God be the glory, reverse is the case.
The MD later called me personally to admonish me about taking laws into my hands. I apologized and the whole thing ended.
I'm sorry for the long talk, but that's how it all played out. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. God bless us all.
Wow! Congratulations! I'm so happy this worked out well for you!
WillyWonda1: I really don't know what I did to my immediate boss since I got promoted earlier this year. Ever since I got my promotion letter, my boss changed to me abruptly. He suddenly finds everything I do useless.
When I noticed the change, I went to him and begged him to tell me what I had done wrong so we could settle everything and get back along. But he said I did nothing wrong and I shouldn't worry about anything. So I locked up and was doing my job to the best of my ability. So he did something that sparked my madness and anger.
I got an email that I was to go on board our vessel to go and load from Lagos cos our mother vessel berthed in Lagos. And cos of my promotion, I'm not supposed to be a crew member anymore. But I was surprised to see the mail and went to his office to address the issue, next thing he said was 'IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR DUTY, YOU CAN RESIGN'.
That statement really sent chills down my spine and I sparked and told him really derogatory words. I don't even feel anyhow about my reaction. I'm happy I told him his life history. I'm very excited to have poured my mind out to him. If I get sacked, I won't feel bad, rather I'll be glad I told him what I told him. #Peace
My dear, no need to fight like this. Take his name to MFM altar. It's either his brain will reset and you two will be good again or he will commot from your front somehow. Thank me later
Yankiss: To end ASUU perennial strikes the following measures must be undertaken: 1. No lecturer should have any ward outside Nigerian Institutions for first degrees, once they have any they should as a matter resign. 2. No politician in Nigeria should have any ward in overseas countries, at least for first degrees.
Once the above two conditions are guaranteed, sanity will return to the Ivory Towers. There will be no further strikes and threats of strikes. FG and ASUU will always strike a balance.
You're over right! That's just the solution.
If our leaders had their children living and schooling in this country, they will behave.
IamV: Novak Djokovic has said he would rather miss out on future tennis trophies than be forced to get a Covid vaccine.
Speaking exclusively to the BBC, he said he should not be associated with the anti-vax movement, but supported an individual's right to choose. Djokovic was asked if he would sacrifice taking part in competitions such as Wimbledon and the French Open over his stance on the vaccine.
"Yes, that is the price that I'm willing to pay," he said.
Djokovic, who is the world's number one men's tennis player, said he had obtained a medical exemption to enter the country to play in the Australian Open as he had recently recovered from Covid-19. However, the country's immigration minister, Alex Hawke, personally cancelled the 34-year-old's visa, on the grounds that his presence could incite "civil unrest" and encourage anti-vaccine sentiment.
"I was never against vaccination," he told the BBC, confirming that he'd had vaccines as a child, "but I've always supported the freedom to choose what you put in your body."
In a wide-ranging interview, his first since he was detained in Melbourne in January, Djokovic addressed speculation about the timing of his positive Covid case in December and discussed his own attitude towards the vaccine.
Djokovic said he hoped vaccination requirements in certain tournaments would change, adding that he was hoping that he "can play for many more years".
But he also confirmed he was willing to forego the chance to become statistically the greatest male tennis player of all time because he felt so strongly. Djokovic's rival, Rafael Nadal, has won 21 Grand Slam titles - the most of any competitor.
Asked why, he replied: "Because the principles of decision making on my body are more important than any title or anything else. I'm trying to be in tune with my body as much as I possibly can."
Djokovic said he had "always been a great student of wellness, wellbeing, health, nutrition," and that his decision had been partly influenced by the positive impact that factors such as changing his diet and his sleeping patterns, had had on his abilities as an athlete.
]I respect people. I expect to be respected in return. If you do not respect me, I will put you in your place, gently but firmly, irrespective of who you are - father, mother, siblings, spouse, parent in-laws, other in-laws, friends, and other associates.
While my mother in-law can stay in my house and enjoy freedom to do as she pleases, she 'no fit do pass herself for my place'. I will tell you directly! Which one is tell your wife to tell her mother; I will tell her myself! Imagine my MIL comes and knock on my door to come to the sitting room to advice me...lol. What I will tell her that day, she will never forget it in her life.
I do not see the relevance of dropping the information on money you give to your MIL in your post. I can infer you do not have the aura of being in charge of your house, and instead of facing the main issue, you are deflecting by bringing money into the equation. Oga, money without a commanding maturity is USELESS!
Finally, If our accommodation arrangement is comfortable enough, if my MIL wants to stay for 1 year, I don't mind. What is the big deal there?
Chop knuckle!

JoyReportsOnlin: Jenny Slimzy has taken to her Facebook page to share the heartwarming action she took to meet the desperate needs of her husband.
During her Livestream Broadcast, the young woman revealed that her husband borrowed a huge amount of money to purchase some properties needed for the new apartment they moved into so that the family will enjoy a comfortable life.
However, the family who is currently living in Vienna, Austria, has been finding it difficult to clear the over 3 years loan they took from the bank to foot the bills of their new residence.
Jenny stated; “he borrowed some money from the bank. He bought the house things we are using in our apartment. He just wants to put everything together to make sure we are comfortable when we come. Ever since we came my husband has been paying for this bill. He has paid for this bill for over 3 years now.
I was praying to God that God should bless me to bless him because I was thinking maybe when I come here I’m going to start work and help him in one way or the other. But when I moved in here I find out that for me to even talk of work, I must learn the language.
God did it for me so I started getting money. As I am getting money I am also saving because I want to put a smile on my husband’s face. I don’t know how to go about paying this money. So what I did, I told him to go to the bank and get the details, let us know how much you have paid. I did that because I want to get the whole information.
Last night I went to his file then I brought it out and went through it. I saw that he is owing Two Thousand, Nine Hundred Euros (€2,900:00.). I then paid the money this morning. In fact, I cleared my husband’s bill this morning. Let’s see his reaction.”
The lady then set the camera on standby, called on her husband, and revealed to him that she has paid the debt by showing him proof of the online transaction.
On seeing this, the husband shouted in excitement as he broke down in tears and started praising God for giving him an amazing woman.
“Is not about the money. A lot of things have changed,” the husband said.
His wife further advised the ladies to form the habit of assisting their husbands to ease them of the stress.

If nothing is done soon, the state will be overrun. It is just so sad.
