So Buhari's Ministers will not go with him?

Nah this kind person dey create thread for Nairaland angry

Seems you have difficulty making your point without starting with insult...try and get help or seek God's face.

Back to the subject, it is not a must that all Ministers would go with the current president. Some can be retained and represented to the Legislation for reappointment based on merit.

Politics / 1st Month If Tinubu Wins Presidency - Who Will Be Sacked by thelegend1(m): 2:05pm On Feb 19, 2023
The anticipated 2023 Presidential elections hold in less than a week. I implore all Nigerians eligible to vote, to vote wisely and with a pure conscience.
A lot of lives have been ruined in the past 8 years due to bad leadership, and we cannot afford another saga.

Back to the subject matter of the thread, the first set of people to be dismissed from office in my opinion are:-

1. CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele
2. NDLEA DG, Rtd. Major General Buba Marwa
3. EFCC boss, Bala Mohammed
4. Minister of (mis)information, Lai Mohammed
5. FIRS boss, whoever that may be
6. Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola
7. Osun State Governor, Mr. Adeleke will be upturned by Supreme Court

Career / Re: Jumia Sacks 900 Workers To Reduce Cost Of Operation by thelegend1(m): 8:20pm On Feb 17, 2023
It was expected. Most tech business took up more manpower than required during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Now that things are back to normal with business processes and logistics optimized, there's no need bearing the excess overhead costs.

I would advice anyone in Nigeria to find something to produce and sell across supply chains rather than putting their hope on a 9 to 5 job.

Thinking that the high rollers are all queuing behind Peter Obi. Are they passing a message to Nigerians or making a statement to the political class, especially people like the governors of Kaduna, Zamfara and Kogi?
All things being equal and you're seeing pictures like this, you can bet you're looking at your next C-in-C. As guys who know the side their bread is buttered, they're already putting their money where their mouths are.

Do you remember in 2015 during the Election Polling of results...recall how Dangote was sitting with GEJ initially but cross-carpeted once it was obvious Buhari would win the election?

I'm supporting Obi, but it's too early to decide. You will still see this same bunch taking pics with BAT & Atiku

The implications of this ChatGPT in Nigeria will be quite devastating.
Our business models and processes aren't highly specialized; so expect more AI automation in the coming years.

Top of the list I envisage repercussions are:-

1. Customer Care desks and Call Centers
2. Retail banking
3. Drop shipping merchants
4. IT Industry will be more streamlined

Other industries that may benefit are:-
1. Power sector (every IT innovation needs electricity)
2. Real estate (the computers and their programmers need a sheltered space to work)
3. Logistics (there will be less human-to-human Customer interaction. But the transfer of goods would require more human input)
4. Agriculture (man must chop...job or no job)

kenedyx:

I got a huge contract through my brother's company.

The contract is securely in my possession now and I've been fully paid. Initially, the plan was for my bro to supply me the materials

But the issue now is the quotation he's giving me is way higher than what I'm getting elsewhere.

I've asked him to beat down his price but he's adamant. I plan on sidelining him if he doesn't do the needful.

Guys any thoughts on this?

Your opening sentence just answered your question. Be honorable.

Politics / Re: Fact Checks On Peter Obi's Speech At Chattam House Yesterday by thelegend1(m): 1:06pm On Jan 17, 2023
vacanci:
Reportera is a department of Obi's campaign. Here is the reason below

The fact check sheet above showed the date to be 15th January, 2023 as against the true date of the speech which was 16th January, 2023. How did they do a fact check on the 15th when the speech happened on the 16th

This implies that they have already prepared what he was going to say and already did the fact checks ahead of time.

fact checking the fact checker shows that it is a branch of the labour party.

Have you heard of timezones? What if they're based somewhere in the world that it was still 15th January?
Have you heard of simple typographical error as well?

Looking at the position of the ignition key for the Range Rover, there's no way that's a 2009 model.

This Ignition position was used when BMW still owned Range Rover, so it's probably 2003 - 2006 model.

phoneport:
As seen in the photo below, she was smiling for the camera while sporting a chic white attire, a smile on her face, and a beautiful when ever appearance as the camera flashed.

Tweeps continued to praise her beauty, but it seems that they weren’t the only ones attracted to her. An older man can be seen gazing at her and it’s obvious that he likes what he sees. Some tweeps speculated that the older man might be her lover, while others claimed that he was merely a passerby.

What is your observation and comment please?

If you know this lady well, you'll know that's her FATHER in the background

I think I know the why because I have been there... The car suddenly became light @140km/h and very unstable, can easily swearve off the road to the bush if care is not taken.

You can drop your (why) point as well.

All of the above you mentioned, plus fear of the "HONDA SURPRISE" is the beginning of wisdom.

Bmw 535i 2005 model. Lagos to Ondo = N260kmph

Honda Accord 2004 model = Never dared beyond 140kmph (E get why)

Ford Something 2015 model. Abuja environs = was doing about 120kmph when Cow entered the road from nowhere. Lucky to be alive after the crash.

Speed kills...use only in times of absolute necessity, controlled environment or emergency.

Learn to tell yourself the uncomfortable truth and from there begin to accept it as reality.

We all know that 99.9% of these deportees are of Igbo origin.

The only way forward is to accept a problem from where you can begin to address it.

You have a myopic and tribalistic view on this.
No need to engage with you further.

Excuse you,
Normally.. if you work the avererage job in this countries, one will survive, but the eagerness to do big man, buy benz and use Iphone while wearing fake ass Versace is the bane of all Nigerians…

We want to show off… we want to oppress, announce our arrival…

There is no way that would happen if do your normal job, hence the criminality. You have blamed the country enough and you are out of the country, yet you still continue…

Its insane.

Very good point.

Fixed.
Charity begins at home. Prof Soludo has been screaming that parents have abandoned their responsibilities in Igboland. It is not a coincidence that all the drug criminals we read about as arrested in India are from SE. The parents failed big time.

Agreed, but let's not be tribalistic by using SE as the only example. Every region has it's own fair share of atrocities.

I can mention at least 50 countries that are way poorer than Nigeria, but you don't see them causing commotion everywhere they go.
The average Nigerian is just a criminal. The only hope for the next generation of Nigerians is to make anti-corruption a core course in school, at all levels

I remember during my childhood days, the would strip you naked and parade you round the entire community for petty theft. Also, the military administration had firing squad for severe crimes.
Nowadays, anyone can do anyhow.

I am seriously suffering from schizophrenia. Even as I am typing this, I feel like crying because I am being tortured by the spirits of people I used to see Everytime, even all through the night. To me, I used to think that the problem was as a result of curses laid upon me by my family members. I used to be a private school Teacher not until I intentionally resigned because of the illness. Currently, I work as a "dumpster diver" in order to get little funds to feed myself daily because there's no financial support from anyone. Sometimes, I would not go to work whenever I feel the hallucinations is too disabling. Currently, I have no access to medical treatment because of no financial support.

I am using, this medium to ask for help from any caring hearts to reach out to me in any possible way. I need your financial support to treat and mange this problem. $1, $10, or $100 is not too small for me. Also, I need your prayer as well to strengthen my soul. Thanks, as I look forward to receiving help from you. My account details is as below:

People who know me, refer to me as a realist and pragmatic.

With that said, 50% of whatever challenges you face in life lies in your realization of your role in the problem.

As far as I'm concerned, you're in charge of your mental faculty irregardless of the intrusions you may get.
Your are still the HEADMASTER, fight for control one day at a time.
You will win. God help you, and men support you.
