ivolt:
Please, stop imagining things in your head, imagination is not equal to reality. Women are more Emotionally Intelligent than men, many researches have confirmed this.
The number of women CEO is a question of patriarchy not women's fault.
How many women in authority have you interacted with to make the use of the word "most" ?
The problem you guys have is that of superiority complex when working with women, you can't imagine a common woman making decisions, a woman that should be on her feet worshipping you.
Many guys suffer in their workplace courtesy of their boss's attitude but they won't complain if the boss is a man but let their be a change in management and a woman is in charge, that is when they will remember that their boss is evil and proud. This is no surprising as their unconscious mind is interested solely in finding evidence that the woman is incompetent and they tend to confirm their bias.
Even in politics, when 10 men are arraigned for corruption, the usual comment is that "politicians are generally bad", "we are all corrupt". But should one woman be arraigned , the story immediately change to "corrupt nature of women", " women shouldn't be in government. The same commentators who couldn't condemn corruption when men are involved suddenly find their voice by blaming the gender instead of the person involved. You only read to reply so ain't no need responding to you after this. First, you deviated by going into your politics bla bla... Second, I have worked in the corporate world and interacted with a whole lot of women in authority, so that for me counts as experience and a kind of pseudo research, remember that every research is also based in samples from a small group in the larger group. Actually, most enlightened men would have no issue working under a woman, save for the fact that many of such women turn tyrants, are averse to diplomacy, all in the name of fighting perceived obnoxiousness, and completely tactless and clueless when it comes to delicate issues... All my comments are from my personal experiences while working with women. So what experiences do you have to support these claims of men being unable to take orders from women? While you're on it, please reference any such research that says women are more emotionally intelligent than men cos it is common knowledge that women are able to sense things much more than men, which is just a tiny fraction of the while EI thing... Read to digest and understand, cos you seem to feel too smart for anyone and also a closeted tribal bigot... |

ivolt: How do the men handle being richer ? They rule iron fist and you see nothing wrong with it, so why being hypocritical when the table is turned ? Even though it's basically individual differences I can boldly tell you that most women in authority tend to abuse power and privileges that come with authority. I've worked long enough to know this... I think it's a complex much akin to the Napoleon's complex; they hastily misinterpret any opposition as one trying to undermine them cos they're female, then they wanna react to "show" such opposition that they're tough and they end up bungling up the whole situation. How many CEOs of top companies are women? How many company owners would want a female in charge? Just a handful I bet you, cos of my aforementioned theory... I think men are mostly endowed with the gift of EI to an extent while women have the gift of instinct and sixth Zena in abundance... Just saying, no hard feelings |

They always carry out their activities with the mindset that they are above the law. Look at the the story, protesting in front of State House of Assembly wielding arms and yet not arrested . What an impunity? SMH These are the issues we keep screaming about. Try that anywhere in the south and you'll have the whole army swarming in that location in minutes... and they definitely leave their regular trademark of sorrow, tears and blood After someone would tell me to believe in this kind of Nigeria where we ain't equal? . To many of my Yoruba brethren, apparently doing anything you can to remain alive is ultimate wisdom and intelligence and makes you peace loving and calculative...
Well I have a thoroughly different opinion...
He who does not have something he can die for definitely lived a worthless life...
It is this extreme love for self preservation that many people who have a different world view term cowardice...
I would rather die for something I strongly believe in than succumb to threats and accept money to denounce or oppose that which I believe in...
Life for me and for most Igbos is not about how long you have lived but the quality of your legacies and what you stood for in your lifetime...
It is never how far but how well and besides why struggle so much and lose your dignity just to stay alive? Who gets out of life alive anyway? Who ever lived forever?
I hope my words aren't misconstrued cos I'm kinda thinking out loud...
Peace out... |

Let's be honest with ourselves, Buhari is the major cause of all these avoidable agitations in the country...
Only that 97% and 5% statement did a lot of damage to the psyche of the 5%...
Then he went on a confront the militants with brash force, that sank the country further but for the timely intervention of Osibanjo...
Nnamdi Kanu that was hitherto largely unknown turned a hero overnight due to the sloppy and unnecessary arrest of the man, now see where that got us...
That man is a disgrace to everything good...
The name of any president or government that restructures Nigeria to a working confederation will be forever etched in the fabrics of our history....
I believe in Nigeria but one where there's equality, justice and occasional retrospection.... |

KahlDrogo: This is why you people can hardly be taken seriously. You accuse them of being the "first to threaten" and TOTALLY IGNORE THE ORIGIN OF THEIR THREAT!
When have igbo leaders of yoots ever cautioned Nnamdi Kanu over his hate utterances? You people wake up, insult ALL northerners, Insult ALL Muslims, name dogs and cow after their respected brother, and then EXPECT THEM TO GIVE YOU A BEAR HUG IN RETURN!
You people just don't get it. You sow what you reap. Sow hatred and that is what you should expect in return and not some Romeo and Juliet fairytale.
You could have your country but be careful how you go about it. You don't have to make enemies of everything and everyone to do so. Nnamdi Kanu your nightmare was never taken serious by many Igbos until Buharii made him popular by arresting him Besides, how can you compare his rhetorical with people that issued ultimatum that others should leave their region? You seem to be daft man... The northern youths coalition was clear that it is the May 30 sit at home that precipitated their ultimatum so why you trying to twist the narrative? Nnamdi kanu never spoke for Igbos but for his group IPOB and they never at any time called for anyone to leave the SE. If he made other stupid comments, people in the east never took him serious until buhari made that costly mistake of arresting him... Stop trying to be smart by quarter and quit comparing one man's actions to a coalition of northern youths... Face the truth for once! |

Nigeria is a name that was coined by Mrs Lugard so my distinguished senator, you're urhobo first before Nigerian.

Yet you expect superb roads, fast rail, healthcare, education from the paltry $1 bn, who says Lagos doesn't need more help or increased IGR is really dumb
The Niger bridge Ojukwu blew up was repaired by who? from the 20 pounds or with worthless Biafran currency? The food relief after surrender and the reintegration into FG jobs such that today Imo state has the highest number of federal workers shows the rehabilitation in RRR was abandoned? When are you going to show appreciation for anything? The Hausa that were massacred in Iboland before the war commenced have you compensated them? Which work did you do for FG for 3years that deserves the payment of £20 ro each of you? You were paid fo killing Nigerian soldiers, you were paid for rebelling against a sovereign state, you were paid for indolence.
Who paid other patriotic Nigerians? This is just the exact reason why the devilish Nigerian FG headed by the Fulani mafia abolished the teaching of history in secondary schools: to ensure people like you have no idea of the atrocities committed by Nigeria in the name of oil. Did you know that the £20 was paid to all bank account holders of Igbo origin irrespective of how much you had before in the same account? That is a big injustice that will forever haunt this country... Do you know that Igbo people had their lands in various states stolen from them during the war, the land grabbers never relinquished those lands after the war... You definitely have zilch idea of the monumental tragedies that was orchestrated against the Igbos, how can you when you know nothing of your history... I could go on and on but...I'm at work... You know nothing Mr. |
