Honestly I can't imagine myself saying a man was raped n even if it was so, still find it hard 2 call it rape lol
So in your terms, what would you call it?

How do you chill with them? What's the essence of the "chilling"
nethacker:
Exactly!!!! this is wat i have been trying to explain siiiiiiiiiince, thx jare my broda grin
I am telling you, if my ex happens to come and see me and we're alone, there's a 99% chance that I will want to have her in bed and when that happens, the relationship starts off all over again perhaps even stronger.

Honestly speaking 4 myself, if it was me, after thorough check up, he' alrite, I would stay. It would almost b d same thing as having sex with other people b4 we decided 2 commit nd all nd I love him so much, I would.
Do you by chance know why some women won't stay?

Monicaa:
@the seeker- trust me on this, I agree with him nd his case but some of us were talking what if that was not d case here, no terminal infection nd all that
OK! Let me ask you, if the man was the one raped, no terminal infections whatsoever, no permanent anal dysfunction, do you think any woman would stay? What will you do? In my opinion, some women will stay some won't.

Monicaa:
Lol @ whitlexi with his terminal infection nd all, of cause there would b compromise, but in dis case, such wasn't mentioned, only dat she was disvirgined nd raped by others not him
I like him very much because he's attempting to create a defense line for his cause. He'd make a good criminal attorney. He's a front liner.

Let's twist the question a bit. . . So this dude is really nice and seems to be the perfect one for u when suddenly, just before your marriage, some homosexual armed robbers broke in and gave it to him real rough from his behind - leaving him with a possible terminal infection and a permanent anal dysfunction which meant that he could no longer control how or when he made doodoo.
Would u, as a loving prospective wife, still go ahead with the marriage, or will u thank God the marriage has not yet happened?
I am not sure any woman would want to endure the drama when it comes to possible terminal infection. She will compromise.
you can imagine! rape is not an easy thing to have to deal it. and am really fed up with blaming the victim thing. rape is a personal violation and the victims needs all the help and support they can get not some whining ass baby called his bf. gosh, this kinda tells the girl the kinda punk ass bf she has . anyways am fine and you?
It's a permanent stigma in her life. Which is hard to deal with. Still baffles me why some men condescend to rape. I wish this unfortunate habit halts but I'm not sure that will happen. I am fine, the week is burning out like calorie. How's it up @your end?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Up Chelsea!what Impact Do You Think Carlo Ancelloti Will Make At The Bridge? by TheSeeker(op): 8:39am On Jun 24, 2009
We have successively changed managers in the last 3 years and it has been completely sour although much love and appreciation to Guus Hiddink who brought back pride into the squad. However, with the appointment of Carlo Ancelloti on a three year deal, what impact do you think he will make at Chelsea given his successes at AC Milan, especially on the European stages? Do you think we should change some crop of players at Stamford? What players do you suggest be brought in and taken out of the squad? Do you have any special recommendations?

yea, he's pissed that his gf was raped in front of him, why ddint he prevent the hoodlums? oh i guess he wasnt man enough? he is talking as if the girls begged the rapist to violently rape her or do it in front of him huh huh Instead of, him to show remorse for the poor girl, he's there whining. if i was the girl, i will be the first to leave him sef, nonsense. been raped is already an emotional torment to have to deal with his ass. gosh
I thought as much. I have known girls who have been raped and I can tell it's one of the true but sad traumas some women involved have to deal with. It emotionally and physically drains any woman caught up in this mess and before you know it, she's a wreck. Might take as long as 10 years before she gets right back on track until whatever makes her reminisce vamooses. Sissy, what's up?

Funny i actually expected your stupendous response. Its a simple question, an open debate and answers are based on different issues, why must u cringe at any response that does not go in line with your's?
It has been a rampant modus operandi on NL that everyone monitors your response and slay you if it doesn't go in line with theirs. In the actual sense, I believe people have their reasons for their respective opinions. Why would you consider opting out? Just maybe I might understand my friend's decision a little bit more.

yeah, but he loves d virginity more?
! sad
Very sad but true. I think he kept her in the first place because of the virginity. I asked him once if he was keeping her because of the virginity and not because he actually loves her and his response was a resounding NO!
yea the girl definitely deserves way more.
I wonder what pain she must feel to be raped first of all and then rejected, as a result, by the one she loves.

is the guy a virgin sef? @ theseeker, is he a virgin?  huh why are naija men obsessed with female virginity  huh (going by the # of virgin topics in this site)
I don't know ooooo. Ask them. But my friend lives in San Francisco.

That's a good idea. But some people still beg to differ.
oh wow.  I feel pity for the girl. not only for being a victim of rape but also for keeping an asshole as a boyfriend.

Ur friend must have something else in mind, mayb I don't understand 'cos I'm not him but still that should not b enuf reason 2 opt out. Its not fair on d girl.
I am starting to feel there is more to it. However, I remember how he constantly praised her. Now I'm wondering what happened to all those accolades.

@ post- I don't think Jaybee was trying 2b mean but d question itself was tricky nd more like duh of cause y would I want 2 leave because she was raped in my presence?
He may not have intended it to be mean but it did come through as being mean. This happened to a friend of mine, I have tried to make him see things from a different perspective yet, he is bent of opting out of the relationship. The babe's refusal to continue the relationship is also not helping matters. She actually wants the relationship to continue but the guy's lousy reactions to her is putting her off.

Lol @ post. U should also ask urself wat if u both were married nd for years, this happens, would u leave? Of cause I would stay, y would I want to leave?
I understand where your coming from. But the status here is they are still not married. I was talking to the guy and he said he can't possibly get over the scenario. He said each time he sees her, he remembers the night and how it happened. I have ceaselessly tried talking him out of that opinion but he wouldn't bulge. Whether or not I was already married, I'd stay because it was never any of her intentions to be raped.

Peeps that reason the way u do don't deserve good women.
How did I reason? Maybe you need to go back to the board and read again. I asked what you would do in such a situation. I also pointed out that it's happened to people I know and I still remember what happened. I still am in talks with the guy involved. Next time you don't slander people like you just did. Read and understand the contents of every topic before you start the smearing. I don't mean no offense but insults has been the paragon of attitudes here on NL lately wink

When you still contact your ex, chances are that you will end up having to meet and when that happens, old feelings rush through your veins and your hormones become vastly uncontrollable.

If you were dating a girl and she by chance was a virgin, you both have plans of getting married in the near future. You have never had doubts that she's a perfect woman. One night, some hoodlums lurking around find their way into your house, raped your fiancee right in your face. If you were the guy in this situation, what would you do? Walk away or continue the relationship and subsequently get married to her?

She's a wacko! 6 weeks and she frolicked? What would have happened or what will happen if you had to go on a trip of 365 days overseas for training? It means on your arrival, she'd have been delivered of a bouncing baby that looks different from anything in your entire generation and a contrasting DNA? You are in for a deep shit

I was in a terrific debate with some friends today and we talked about Michael Jackson and Bob Marley's popularity streak across the globe. In your opinion, who is more popular, Michael Jackson or Bob Marley? Why do you think either of them is popular? I know this is out of place as it's not categorized under romance but I figured I could get a few comments about that on here.

Romance › Re: Ladies--giving Out Their Numbers. by TheSeeker(m): 2:01am On Jun 23, 2009
I agree that guys can be pest at most times especially when they want something and as such would be so great if you girls apply any method of dismissal towards us. One question though and it's meant for those of you girls who haven't got married yet, who don't have a boyfriend yet is, do you suppose when the right guy is blistering his way to your path that he looks up your number in the telephone directory? At one point or the other, you will always give your number out to a guy, who knows? Maybe the ugliest of guys. So you can give the fake numbers, be irritate over the phone, for all you care.
Romance › Re: How Easy Is It To Forget The One You Lost Your Virginity To? by TheSeeker(m): 8:16pm On Jun 22, 2009
Based on who you had it with, it could be very memorable. There may be emotional attachments to it, yes! First time I had it was when I was 20 and I had it with a girl who was also a virgin at 20 too. So, we both exchanged the honor. However, I must say that not a day goes by that I don't think about her, or at the least remember her, why is because I come across situations and things that make me make reference to her everyday, this post for example
