Romance › Re: I Hate It When Girls Wear Rings On Their Engagement Finger For No Reason by TheSeeker(m): 4:01pm On Jun 20, 2009
When people aren't naturally happy, they make up a temporary happiness for themselves. I think women who wear engagement ring when nothing is going on are putting themselves through hassles. First, a legible suitor will come around and will be like "oops! She's taken" and that's because he doesn't want to go into battle with any other man, see your loss! By the time you know it, all good men will have passed you by and the next thing is you start flaunting your old self around making passes at possibly married men. What a Shame! I read someone saying she wears it so as not to be bothered, no one will bother you but in the end you can regret it for real.

Soon, people will need advice on how to drink water.
Drinking water can be complicated, but many will need advice on how to close their eyes when going to bed. Should they close the right or the left eye first or both simultaneously? LOL

Poster,
How do you come to know about this, is it the man in question told you,if yes, he have already let the cat out.
Also they should quit that relationship, because the way I see it now, if the woman in question eventualy come for (Omugwu)she may have another affair with the man.
So let them quit the relationship
We are very close friends and tells me anything. I have advised him to tell his girl and accepts whatever happens, although I do believe if she loves him, she'll still accept him cuz that was in the past.
proudly9ja:
My advice is for the man to let the girl know what happened and if she still accepts him, then both should go for serious cleansing. Im not much of a culture person but I believe that in any culture, it is wrong for a man to sleep with both mother and daughter. While I cannot mention any consequence as a result of this, I am sure there are and the only way to avoid it is prayers.

If however, the girl decides to opt out, they should both move on to better things and the guy shld stop his gigolo moves undecided
You do have a point but things can be complicated

I don't think she hates him, I think she's just playing hard to get. A woman doesn't tell a man she hates him unless she likes him.

Romance › Immorality edging towards a gravy apex of societal decadence in Nigeria by TheSeeker(op): 1:11pm On Jun 20, 2009
I had been chatting at this guy in Ibadan, he is a bit older than I am so I regarded him as a brother "bros". He would tell me anything about himself, family, friends, business, anything, in fact I was beginning to think he took me as his blood brother. I actually enjoyed it a whole lot when I've had to advise him a few times in regards to some of his deals and dealings. Howbeit, something persisted at every conversation we had, the sentence is "I love you". At first my skepticism set in but then I told myself it might just be platonic and really didn't connote any feelings while my instincts argued there was more to it. Every now and then he told me he loved and I'd say "OK", at some point he asked me if I won't reciprocate the gesture so I just told him he should know I feel the same without having to say it. I then noticed he never talked to me about any woman and my suspicion arose.

When I came into the country a few months ago and I had it scheduled to visit with him in Ibadan. I was really welcome but all those who surrounded him were guys, no women, not one. "Where there are no women, there's no fun" I told him and he asked what do I really care about women for that he was going to link me up with the world and let me know what's up, first of all, I thought he was meaning to introduce me into dope dealing. Later that night he introduced me to a guy who was his friend and he started to appraise my cuteness and further queried "have you ever been with a man?" I felt a rage that I didn't mind having to axe his head into two halves

He started touching me and I just sternly warned him that I was going to blow off his brains and paint the glass window behind him red with his brain blood. My friend later came to me persuading me to join the hell-bound team of gay maggots. When I got back home, I shared the experiences with a couple of my cousins and friends and they told me it's becoming rampant in Nigeria. On a closer observation, lesbianism exists in almost every part of this country. I heard one time that the bill for passage of homosexuality into law was introduced and immediately thrown out of the Senate(in my opinion the only good thing our national assembly has done). What I'm asking is thus : Does homosexuality present a good bandwidth of  WESTERN civilization in Nigeria? Do you think we should let is slide into our dear country, Nigeria and probably Africa in diaspora? Have a blast!

The stupid woman dug her grave when she didnt let go.

i am looking forward to her reasons except they guy would be 'mature' not to let the cat out of the bag
The guy is supposed to tell the tale and she will be left with no positive attributes but shame and rotten dignity, moreover the guy was just paper chasing and the mom was what? I wonder how she will explain that to her daughter as well as her husband.
Romance › Re: Men Would You Easily Forgive Ur Woman If She Rains Insults On You? by TheSeeker(m): 12:16pm On Jun 20, 2009
Women might claim to be equal to us in all terms but we all know they ain't up to the task. They don't have the gumption we do, they don't think like we do and they are generally weak vessels, we all know that. They are just simply grown kids. If a woman does anything, I don't think the next thing is to start demonstrating your prowess in boxing, better still, why not take that to the streets and jack some rocks? Women aren't supposed to be beaten. My advice is when she hurls the insult, just walk away and don't talk, she'll be the one to come back apologizing and when she does, forgive her and put it behind you. Don't forget that she will do worse someday and that is rampant with all women. That is what nature has granted us to endure in them.
Romance › Re: Why Are Men Always Afraid To Fall In Love? by TheSeeker(m): 12:05pm On Jun 20, 2009
When it comes to relationships men are the weakest, men have the most insecurity and you can tell that so easily by how badly tempered jealous they can get even though we try to conceal it but we can't hide from who we are. I do like to be in love but with all the heartaches and emotional trauma I have to go through, Imma let it pass.

I don't believe values don't exist, i  believe that people are faced with harder conditions and are inclined to make varied choices, for varied reason. As for being morally wrong, lol! i doubt i can jump on that high horse, it's just a sad coincidence that one of his ex-clients happens to be his girlfriends mum. It's not like he would have planned it given the opportunity. I believe if he cares about her, he'll come clean to her before the mum says anything. That way, he stands a chance of redeeming himself by taking responsibilty for his choice of profession.
I suggest he comes clean too but truth as we have always known it to be is cold. He should apply more diplomacy while he opens up and choose his words wisely. Some issues are better left unsaid.

He hasn't made any comments yet but from what I can confirm, the both of them are pretty serious about each other. Word has it they are planning on getting married later this year or early next. My concern is, if they get married and the culprits are lip-sealed about this, what happens if she(daughter) gets to know after they have been married? A divorce maybe?

Not saying there aren't some genuine people.  Whether African, or Western.  .  .do good, be good - it's humane not a thing of culture.  .  .basic principle.  Do things you know you wont regret or will come back to bite you in the ass - that is common sense [/color]
I believe we can be pretty pretentious, even at that, we're inferior to the westerns in terms of pretense. A lot of them I have hung out with jump into conclusions and would always dish out what they can't half accept. They always are making up excuses for their errors and except everything to be just as perfect and work for them. We can be shady but believe me, Westerners are shadier than we can ever be.

My friend, sorry for being harsh on you but I think you are sick. If you are not , then how can one explain your toying with a girl's emotion and wanting to dump her on the guise of her being ugly. Were you blind when you toasted her. angry
She's ugly so what? Saying you're perturbed by what your kids will look like has demonstrated that you're not encouraging when it comes to look, yourself. No offense man, but your parents too must have been uglier to produce an ugly frog like you, so why don't you just continue the thread and produce ugly kids? Remember, the beautiful ones aren't yet born, while the ugly ones refuse to die. Please continue the generation, we need ugly people so we can be able to appreciate the beautiful ones. On the reverse, if we have a good looking person who's messing around because they're hot, then we can just subvert to the ugly ones.

Now you understand where I am coming from. If the daughter gets to know I am sure it will be disastrous. Nigerians can be capable of nasty things but we still uphold our heritage. Part of our problems is that we're being greatly influenced by western culture but it's doing us more harm than good by letting anything slide through as long as it's western

Go on to the next street, or in more advanced manner tell her first that one of your is interested in the girl and he's too shy to talk to her hence you are the one he has appointed to do the talking. But then you have to plan it along with one of your friends so that he shows up and tell her in person so she can believe the whole story. She won't be suspicious and before you know it, you've had your game. Always tell her how you hate to be with any other woman but the best thing is for you to go out there on the other street. As for the girls you'll be dating on your street, tell them your girlfriend is crazy and that you're considering dumping her and you don't want to cause any rift, therefore, you should keep it on the DL.

Are people now openly letting their sons marry prostitutes, hence it is a profession for some ? The man sold himself for cash, the mum didn't have an affair, she paid for his services grin.
Whilst I agree with you that she paid for his services, don't forget that it was a short sexual AFFAIR. There was an opening and an insertion which also is happening with between him and her daughter. Not to attack your opinion antagonistically, don't you think it is morally absurd? This world is fast decaying into a society where no more values exist.
