According to research conducted by. . . [s](don't ask me who!do I look lk a nerd?)[/s] pre nup and common law, these are both good recipes(if you want your marriage to hit the rocks).

Which is the bigger tragedy, loosing your soulmate or a trustfund? [s]Micheal had d trustfund but i can't attest 2 d fact that he led a happy life[/s]
I'm keepin ma fingers crossed that I don't have ma priorities mixed up.

Anyway all these dudes dat are cryin prenup, I know their type. Its all talk!!They'll be advising their friends" kill the bitch man, she is disrespecting." Meanwhile they treat their galfriends like cow egg.
Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. No man in his purely sane mind, have millions stashed away in his bank accounts, insurances and investments will go into a marriage without opting for a pre-nup -- not with all the divorce going these days and men who have worked so hard lose all they have ever worked for in the process to a woman that may have been bleeping another man while he was breaking his feet and working his ass up to put all these together. To me, I don't trust a marriage can last longer not to warrant a divorce because at some point you will understand each so much that you will want a fight and when that happens, you know what happens next. No marriage lasts long and the more years y'all both live together for, the more you stand to lose when you have a divorce, so why, in the first place, will I go into a marriage without a pre-nup? That is why I love my man 50 Cent, he said "KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR MONEY AND TRUST NO B***TCH" I will never forget that line and it has taught me a lot.

A lot of girls have been accused of being arrogant even here on NL but I will not delve into that. Fact is you might have an attitude but don't all girls? Yes I do have reasons to believe and understand all girls have an attitude but hey, you being nice to people doesn't make you less a woman with class or vulnerable. Be nice to people around you, joke with them, talk with them but always know where to draw the line and stop. I know some of us can be an ass and when you give us an inch we want to take a mile but like I said earlier always know where to stop and draw the line.

I do not think she's the right girl for you. First of all, she's 19 and I don't see why a 19 year old should be pressured into marriage by her parents unless of course they don't have better plans for her. There are parents who want their daughters to succeed and be a good, established and successful woman before they get married but in her case I see otherwise.

I am almost confident that her parents are looking to make off some financial gains from shipping her to a matrimonial home. Force marriage on a 19 year old is way too absurd! Who does that these days?
Romance › How Will You Handle A Jealous Boyfriend/girlfriend? by TheSeeker(op): 5:26am On Jun 27, 2009
I have been in relationships and all the girls I have been with have been extremely jealous to a point where I almost can't tell what they'd do if a situation requires them to be jealous(not like I know what makes them jealous anyways). I do have a problem with some types of jealousy that I consider baseless e.g. when a another lady calls me and my girlfriend becomes jealous when she doesn't even know who's on the phone with me.

Reportedly from the ladies' corner, guys have been labeled the most jealous of all creatures. How far is this true? Please let me know. While some define jealousy to strengthen a relationship others have confirmed how much wreck it brings.

Question is, how can you manage or handle jealousy? Can it be suppressed at all? Do you think it strengthens or drives a wreck into a relationship?

What's your experience so far?

as for me we are signing that pre-nup whether she likes it or not. the only way we wont sign a pre-nup is if we did start out building a biz together and it florished b4 we got married otherwise PRE-NUP! all these naija girls that are here shouting no to pre-nup, ask them, which one of them is willing to marry a poor man, not one. when it comes to poor men they will say "we have to be wise" or "who won suffer" but when it comes to a rich dude they will say "it is love" ole! all of una bi thief!  angry angry angry angry

Education › Re: Why Is The English Language Skill Of Nigerian Graduate So Appalling? by TheSeeker(m): 4:53am On Jun 27, 2009
I believe the educational system in Nigeria, sad but true, is bad so to say. It has always been a two-way phenomenon. As much as I will not like to dispute the fact that some graduates have poor English Language skills, I can't totally blame it on the educational system. I believe the society in which most of these people have lived and still live has a greater influence on them than their School's social circle. However, I do believe their School has a cogent role to play in their usage of the language. Nevertheless, we have some graduates who I believe to be brimming with good use of English Language even better than their teachers -- I have come across a few myself.

On the other hand, we have some brilliant high School kids who are far better, in all ramifications, when compared with these supposedly "bad" users of English Language. I'd like to predicate my belief on the fact that most of them are more centralized on educational articles and don't bother to get involved with other non-educational texts. Nigeria has produced very good graduates.

I am all for pre-nup especially on all I have aquired before the marriage. I don't want no woman no matter how much I love her to walk away with half my assets.I don't mind sharing half of all I have earned with her.I am comitted to making my marriage work and I don't want any woman working away with all that I have earned prior to her arrival.
Exactly the point. Why would a woman who never knew how much I had to put in efforts to make what I have before she comes in, get away with half of what I have earned all my life all because we're married? I don't see why marriage is so important in every relationship. What is it meant for anyway?

Your English Language usage skills are questionable. You sounded so sanctimonious and felt like you were all righteous about your whole assertions. Newsflash!! You're a joke to the language itself. You could have had someone in your "office" vet your post before displaying your utter foolish attempt at parading your ignorance about Nigerian education.

Majority of em have molested kids in Naija o but it's very easy for them to come online and discuss someone else on the day he died.
It's fuckery.

This cannot stand in court as an evidence.
If the parents of the kids involved are responsible, their kids shouldn't love being in MJ's ranch than their own houses.
Michael liked to be around kids, that doesn't make him a Paedo.[/quote]I finally found someone who agrees with me. How else do you explain a 25 year old sleeping with 12 year old? Molestation. All of them are guilty as I well charge them to come and defend their acts.

The best person to have ever happened to entertainment. Just two days ago I posted on here who was more popular between him and Bob Marley. This is saddening but people die everyday, being a star makes no difference. After all, Jay Z said "every time a child is born somebody is slain".  RIP MJ.

Family › THIS BEATS MY IMAGINATION! NAIRA-LANDERS PLEASE HELP ON THIS ONE! KEEP IT COMIN' by TheSeeker(op): 9:50pm On Jun 25, 2009
I was up somewhere today and was asked to lay my opinion on the table for them to examine. I was first of all at a loss for words but I did say something as much as my intelligence and sense of morale could let me. Well here's what happened.

A certain young lady, Kate, in her late 30's, black, young, hardworking and very beautiful is married to a Magistrate, Shawn, early 40's, white, intelligent, witty and well respected. His wife has a sister, Mandy, who in turn has 2 kids both boys. Mandy as you might have well guessed is married but to a sworn and certified drunk, Jason. He'd creep in late at night and had her waiting up all night for him until she got tired and stopped the waits. Fearing that her husband's lifestyle will influence their kids, Mandy and Jason reached an agreement to have their kids go and live with her sister, Kate.

The boys were 2 and 4 years old respectively. Kate took care of these kids as if they were her own, cared for them in every way never would anyone have suspected she wasn't their biological mother. The kids' mom comes to visit with them every 6 months so they were quite acquainted with their mom than their dad who they haven't seen in a long time but funny I didn't find it, that these kids love their dad to death even though they haven't seen him in a long time.

I want to make this as short as possible so I won't sound irritatingly boring. Kate for some reasons I don't know can't have a child but her husband, Shawn is very much capable of having one. However, he pledged his love for her never to leave her because she can't have a child.  This year, the kids have turned 8 and 10 years old. Mandy have found a comfortable job and is ready to have her kids back to take care of them herself. She's still married to Jason but they operate a bit of a distant relationship right now only that he still vehemently claims he will always remain married to her.

Two months ago, Mandy came for her kids and had to stay a few weeks with Kate and her husband, and Kate brought up a discussion with her sister. The discussion was that she should have a child for her. How? Shawn will make love to Mandy and she will carry the child for them. Kate claims she loves Shawn so much that she wants him to have a child of his own and she can't be comfortable with no one else except her sister. Shawn was approached and he refused the offer but Mandy accepted because she loves her sister so dearly that she'd do anything for her. They both decided they will keep it away from Jason until she has the baby. Seeing how upset and disgusted Shawn feels about this plan, Kate apologizes to him but said she will leave with her sister so she can be with the kids. She's simply reiterating that she can't let go of the kids when she knows she can't have none and Shawn had refused to take her offer to have a baby through her sister.

From my opinion, I see a selfish wife here. She sounded very "husband-concerned" and all of a sudden her interest sprouted from the blue. The issue now is Shawn loves Kate so very much and he doesn't wanna let go yet, he insists he won't oblige Kate her request whereas Kate is bent on leaving him and stay with his sister and the kids.  What would you possibly say about this whole affair? What do you think Shawn should do? Do you think Kate is right with whatever decision she makes? Does the plan make any sense?
