Gbawe: ![]() By the time Wike and his paid goons finish with her and her husband, she'll realise she's meant to put tribal considerations first before anything ![]() |
omenka:The mind of a wailer is like a board filled with abstract paintings made by a child........incomprehensible ![]() |
Justice Mary Odili is a betrayer and a traitor ![]() |
Singingbae:Will you be shocked if I confirm to you that they also sat in abuja? |
I don't blame MTN, rather I blame Nigerian officials. They benefit from these schemes that's why they pretend like they don't know. It gets more annoying when you realise a greater percentage of their workforce in Nigeria are all employed on contract basis with no protection from NLC or the FG whatsoever yet they refuse to pay their due tax. I hope FIRS can get serious with issues like this. |
denko:Good. However if you'll be realistic, you have to admit he can't turn us into Dubai within 5 months. See my signature.....some things take time no matter how desperate we are or frustrating the wait is. Fixing Nigeria after the years of misrule and mismanagement is an example. I wish things can move at a faster pace but good and durable things take time. We have no choice but to wait and even if Buhari fails, we can't do anything until 2019 so chill my man ![]() |
denko:Little boy, How many times did you call for GEJ to resign when about 15,000 Nigerians died under his watch? or you didn't see the need because none of your relatives was blown to pieces then? You really need to upgrade your mental capabilities my friend so you can desist from opening threads like this or this https://www.nairaland.com/2648443/did-buhari-declare-yobe-estate and even this https://www.nairaland.com/2638289/70-million-independence-budget-how |
denko:It'll be wise you stop playing politics for once and wish your country well. You're the one that is screaming how proud you are to be a 5 percenter......enjoy your eldorado This administration inherited a mess. They might appear slow even to admirers like me but it's very childish to stick to whining because one man somewhere lost an election. He won't be the first neither will he be the last. He has moved on as you should too |
This is a problem that started with your hero. We are only reaping the 'rewards' of a profligate and prodigal regime that was incapable of planning with the oil price windfall they supervised for over 3 years. Infact, thousands of Nigerians lost jobs under your hero even with Oil prices not this low. Abagworo:They know this truth but of course will want to stand it on its head. Things are rough but what were they expecting? After the previous govt wasted the entire period when oil was at an all time record high? Even Okonjo Iweala already warned us Nigeria’s former Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said her successor will face a “difficult” year because of plunging oil revenues and the economy needs expert management to weather the storm. Also here http://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/171145-brace-tougher-times-ahead-okonjo-iweala-tells-nigerians.html |
franchizy: ![]() all these ingrish you're shearing here.....i hope it's deliberate humor?? ![]() |
basilo101:its a poisoned chalice that holds no benefit to any tribe. of what benefit was Humphrey Nwosu and Maurice Iwu's tenures to the SE other than recriminations? |
modath:@the bold.....perfectly said ![]() |
It's confirmed now. Lalasticlala......pls help spread the news |
EdCure:They sat on weekends through the trial |
seunmsg:I concur.....i was getting frustrated with him already |
The Rivers State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja will on Saturday deliver its judgment on the petition filed by the All Progressives Congress and its candidate in the April 11, 2015 election, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, challenging the election of Governor Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party.http://www.punchng.com/politics/rivers-tribunal-delivers-judgment-saturday/ |
Ezemust:Yes my friend i believe so. A man who has held office as minister of petroleum, chairman of NNPC, Governor of the entire north east, Head of state, Chairman of PTF, GOC of 3 divisions of the NA yet no individual has been able to trace a single oil well to him is surely above board relative to his peers. Also, you should know corruption is the least of the problems we have with GEJ. His major problem is his profound helplessness in curbing the extreme appetite of his subordinates. No man is a saint but when i see a man operating above the extreme materialistic and ''primitive acquisition'' mindset of the average privileged Nigerian and also able to hold others to account, i applaud and PMB is in that category. You're right to say that corruption is not the only problem we grapple with but will it be a crime if we try to tackle it no matter how small the success recorded is? |
Ezemust:Of course my friend...they all belong to someone or something. Is it GEJ or OBJ that didn't belong to a myriad of personalities? As long as the gross impunity and stealing of yesteryears is reduced, he can belong to the devil if he likes. |
Ezemust:Which truth my friend?? |
Rilwayne001:No. I think she's Ibibio |
myqel:did you also complain when he removed Danladi Kifasi and appointed Ekanem Ita as replacement?? keep on wailing my friend ![]() |
basilo101:and you the good Samaritan is trying to wail on their behalf right? ![]() continue wailing......their chi will reward you ![]() |
bettercreature:SE already has a commissioner representing them. if you check well, only 5 new commissioners were announced while we have 6 geo political zones EDIT:It pays to check before rolling out war drums. The commissioner representing the SE is Ambassador Lawrence Nwuruku The Independent Electoral National Commission on Wednesday experienced an overhaul of its leadership as Professor Mahmood Yakubu (Bauchi) was appointed as its chairman. The following were also appointed as INEC commissioners: •Mrs Amina Zakari (Jigawa)–North-West •Dr Antonla Taiye Okoosi (Kogi)–North-central •Alhaji Baba Shettima Arfo (Borno)–North-east •Dr Mohammed Mustafa (Edo)–South-south •Mr Soyebi Adedeji Solomon (Ogun)—South-west Meanwhile, the Council of State resolved that Ambassador Lawrence Nwuruku who is currently representing the South-east should remain. from here http://naijaextra.com/2015/10/inec-gets-5-new-regional-commissioners-see-names/ |
before PDP or APC roll out the drums in celebration, it's pertinent to find out what the distribution of valid votes look like what was the total no of valid votes cast in the 13lga where the tribunal determined that elections took place? How many for PDP and how many for APC? That's what folks should determine instead of these premature celebrations from both camps |
Ademat7:Well, rails have their place and roads also have theirs. We can't stop road construction because we are terrorised by dangote trucks. Car owners like you and I also need good roads. However, your point is valid and i hope the FG's ministry of transport will see the big picture and borrow some ideas from your line of thought ![]() |
naptu2:Thanks for the education bro.... ![]() |
naptu2: That's very grandiose |
THIS IS A JUNE 14 2011 STORY FROM VANGUARD. OP, PLS GET UPDATED. THIS STORY IS STALE....VERY STALE |
baralatie:@the bold, i know a lot of things have happened before to feed your pessimism but pls lets hope for the sake of all of us that this will be different ![]() This is what Ben Ayade said ''In his remarks, Ayade said apart from the road project, the state would also be constructing a deep sea port in Bakassi. According to him, the two projects will be executed through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP)'' Except he lied through his teeth, i want to believe the road and the sea port are both PPP projects. It seems likely that tolls will be incorporated (i see no other way for the private investors to recoup their money) but my brother, at this stage and with the world economy the way it is, i don't mind some small sacrifices. You raised an important observation of the road passing through cross river and Benue state so i wonder why Benue state isn't represented here. Maybe some additional clarifications will come in the days ahead |
Image123:forget those Principalities and Demon Party agents jare. Are they not the same people that swore Buhari will force all Christians to start reading the quran? ![]() Let them continue wallowing in their delusions.....It's their right. Me, i know the Buhari i campaigned for ![]() |
baralatie:Well, the honest truth is that with the state of our finances, no state govt can successfully execute such gigantic projects. Whether they like it or not, they must engage private investors and these investors won't allow their money and efforts to go to waste. that much i hope anyway. I chose to believe they'll see these projects through. They're very important to the economy of the SS and SE |
