Yooo! I'm against jungle justice but with situations like this I will gladly support, especially knowing how useless Nigerian laws can be. Someone who had the audacity to batter or nearly kill another and somebody's mama at that (whom the person is owing money ooo) should face the full wrath of the law. Do whatever you must to get justice for your mom. |

And they've not been arrested and charged with murder? ![]() |
Happy birthday |
Her behaviour is unacceptable. She's abusive to people and to you (e.g. took your phone and turned it off). If you care about your life, walk away now. |
Viceni111, how're you doing? And how's your dad doing? I just saw the video you posted in 2020 (Appeals to Nigerians) in which your Dad is pleading for help and you're all crying. What a sad video. I hope you and him are doing fine. My sincere condolences. How're you doing? Did you finish your studies? |
Imagine. Just within a year of marriage, you've committed adultery. If your wife didn't find out, you had no intentions of stopping. You didn't even mention that you have or will. What a joke of a marriage. |
Don't give up. Also, someone mentioned up there that you can teach and mentioned Benin. Why not look for a teaching job at your current location or go to Benin? |
Congrats to them |
Tell him to run. With what he saw there and how he felt, he better run. |
How pathetic |
What names did I call you in my post? You quoted my post calling me names, not the other way around. But let's play that game now: what names did I call you in my post below, Miss Blind Bat? It's you that something is wrong with, LilMissFrustrated. Secondly, you seem to lack reading comprehension skills or these your eyes must be severely damaged because of the total rubbish you wrote again. You're crazy with the way you're just making up your your own stories without going by OP's post. OP CLEARLY wrote that the guy has been sending her money every month for the child's wellbeing but he doesn't see any significant effects of the money on the child. If she's spending the money anyhow or not using it to take care of the child, how is that his fault if she's suffering, as you claim? His main concern is the child and if she's not using it to fend for the child, then that IS what concerns him and the more reason he should get custody, or should he continue to waste money to not see her use it on the child? Or he should be rushing there everytime the child falls sick? At this point, it makes sense for the child to be under his custody as he will take better care of him and the mother can continue her shenanigans. Lastly, that he will remarry and the child's fate will be worse is another nonsense you keep shouting. The man is an involved father, so if he does remarry he will definitely watch over his son as he is doing now. If he does get custody and remarries, I hope he will marry a loving and kind woman who will love and care for the child. With the way, you attacked the OP unecessarily up there and telling him to leave the child, you're obviously a pained and frustrated single mother, as well as the type to abuse children. Monster. It looks like the killing was very recent. In a saner climate, it wouldn't take long for the authorities and forensics investigators to find the perpetrator/s who murdered her, but Nigeria na yeye country and those behind it will go scot-free. The fact that it's eyewitness who are on the scene and no police in sight speaks volume. |
OP, your "cousin brother" is doing the right thing. Big props to him. The fact that he has been sending her money and keeping an eye on his son's wellbeing/welfare are indications that he's a present father and good man, as he has not abandoned his child despite their divorce. Kudos to him for taking him to the hospital for medical attention, including tests. Please don't listen to any ugly comment above telling him to "face his life" and simply abandon the child. I hope he's able to get custody. God bless him. LilMissFavvy:How is he monitoring what she does to her body? He did the right thing taking him to the hospital to get him checked out and have tests carried out on him, which revealed he has sexually transmitted infections. Is that not something he should be concerned about? Your telling him to abandon the child is really the height of wickedness. |
I hope she's alive and well |
Ok |
All that talking in front of the coffin about how he thanks God he survived is unecessary and quite insensitive. Wrong place for such talks. How's his family who are already mourning supposed to feel hearing that? The lack of sensitivity and sense amongst Nigerians is quite alarming. |
That is nonsense. She needs to dump you because no woman has any business being in a relationship with you and definitely none marrying someone like you. Since this behavior goes towards everyone in your life in general, does that also mean you treat your parents or loved ones similarly? You don't call them, don't pick their calls or reply their chat? That would be really pathetic. There's nothing cool about this. You need to learn to value the people in your life. Grow up, pls. |
Inappropriate is an understatement. Shame on him. |
Awww, hbd to her. |
Disgusting |
That is really sad and pathetic, even more sad and pathetic that it has been "out of use for several years", smh. I had an MRI done recently and spent a great deal of time in that machine, as the MRI Technologist really took her time with me. I'm glad I'm a citizen of a country with wonderful healthcare and I didn't pay a dime either. I hope Nigeria can get to such level. |
But God did not tell them to. In fact, that was not His design. |
I would choose King Solomon, but since he's not there, then Queen Esther. |
She wanted to work but you prevented her from taking the job. At the same time, you don't want to be giving her money. Pick a side, dude. She could've started that job to earn, then look for another that's far from your place. This was nothing to break up over. Clearly, she's right that you didn't love her because you would've handled this differently if you did. |
Neptunium:I wanted to fry everything to make buka-style stew, but I no get that kain time right now. The meats are still enjoying themselves in the freezer. I will probably just cook them tomorrow, then bake them in the oven, and c'est tout. |
I just replied one thread on fp (https://www.nairaland.com/8075025/husband-kicked-me-out-after/4#129666654) and didn't condone what the woman did, but seeing this thread makes it obvious that men are part of the problem. It's also no wonder there're many single mothers in Nigeria. |
But why did you pass another man's child as his? How can you do that and be able to sleep at night knowing you're hiding such a secret and deceiving your spouse? That means she carried someone else's pregnancy enter the marriage. Their wahala o jare. |
Horrible. And I'm sure nobody will be held responsible for this tragedy. Secondly, whoever wrote the article is quite senseless with the use of "roasted". They were human beings, not pieces of meat. Inexcusable lack of sensitivity. |

chiiraq802:I saw the OP and logged in to post the exact comment you did and I'm now just scrolling down to see your comment, so you've written what I wanted to write. The hashtags are insensitive. He's clearly an insensitive and senseless somebody. |
