The requirements are the same with normal visitor's visa except that your sponsor will have to commit himself/herself in writing to be responsible for your welfare with appropriate documents to back it up.

Modified
I assumed the sponsor is in the country you are visiting
no, my sponsor resides in another country

If you are being sponsored by someone in another country for visitors visa, what are the requirements?

Sincerely I have been overjoyed eveer since I read about Bishop Kukas Christmas statement.

What he has said boldly is the most daring truth which other socalled Pentecostant Men of God are shying away from saying while boldly shouting on their pulpits as if that's the only place they can be more effective.

So many Prophet in the Bible spake against the evil Rulers and gave Prophecies that were apt and came to realities.

This is highly COMMENDABLE!!!!

GOD HELP AND KEEP BISHOP KUKAH LS LIFE AND FAMILY AND MINISTRY, IN JESUS NAME!!!!
I don't blame other pastors ooo.
The Catholic Church has fought the ancient wars, crusades, instituted and toppled governments and a whole lot of others ...and you want our lily-livered pastors to do what?? grin grin

Kukah has 1.3billion faithfuls with the wealthiest, powerful and strongest religious institution in the whole world behind him.

Your post lack bases and it does not relate to what the lady was saying at all.
SmartPolician:
The headline is FALSE

Admittedly, we need to respect the females, but the females must respect themselves first. The quest for material things is making our ladies lose their manners and values.

Similarly, families must treat the girl child as the males because they deserve equal opportunities.
BTW, I come from a family where the females are the eldest and they all got university education.

Someone should advise this lady, please. This feminism thing is gradually making her lose her senses. The way Amanda is pushing this agenda will make her lose many male fans.

PS: I didn't waste my data to watch the video because I don't care.

Someone giving you his/her visa form won't solve your problem if you yourself don't know your first name grin
Your first name is your first name! The first written name.
I guess the problem most students have is that they often write their surnames as their first names!
No, your surname is your last name.

So to help you, your surname is the same as your last name except you make some clarifications.
For instance, if you write your name as, 'Peace Kingmaker Nairalander'
This is the proper/correct way of writing names.

Here, first name is: Peace,
Middle name: Kingmaker
Last name or surname: Nairalander.

However, if you wish to write it differently, then you must indicate your surname by writing it in capital or by underlining it.
So the above name could also be written as:
NAIRALANDER Peace Kingmaker (Note, it is not NAIRALANDER Kingmaker Peace!)
or
Nairalander Peace Kingmaker (Note, I actually wanted to underline Nairalander but I didn't see the icon for it, so I had to use bold)
Kingmaker, though coming last, is still your middle name because the proper position of the last name/surname had been changed.

The authority is on the data page of the passport. It is usually the name of the state capital where the passport was issued.
I guess your passport is genuine?
grin grin thanks. The fear of Visa denials made me forgot which one is which.
Yeah, it is genuine.

Thanks once again.
If you can give me more details on visitors visa requirements, yellow fever card, bank account s etc. How to book flights and hotel? I'd be grateful

Liftmaster:
No offense taken. It's not an issue of inconvenience but the issue here is the husbands lack of discernment. Regardless of whatever the reason for declining is, the wife has a right to do so. Her declining may be being inconsiderate but she has a right to it. I marvel at those on here that think that because a husband asks his wife to do something, she must always say yes. A wife has rights too. I hate to say this, but wisdom does seem to be in short supply In some of the antagonistic responses.
One further point. You said "Don't we all host people from time to time? We are a people and I think we have some communal sense, why act as though it is strange?" Why do you speak like we are all together in his marriage? Everybody is different. We may have certain customs as a people but it doesn't mean everyone agrees with these customs and willingly participates. Every individual has rights. She has spoken her mind and we as a people need to learn to respect other people's rights and opinions.

The wife was glad to do the hosting when she was 5 months pregnant. I personally think that was inconsiderate of the husband to ask her to do so, but regardless, she gladly oblidged. This time around she said no and is vehement in her refusal. There is something going on here. A sufficiently wise husband should discern something from this. Regardless of what path he takes, the issue will, still remain. He will be wise pick his battles, drop the issue and move on. At a later time when tempers have cooled, he can come back and try to figure out what exactly the issue is.
The husband will not win this battle.
Due note that she is not failing in her duties of feeding her family.

FamilyRe: My Wife Won't Cook For Our Guests. Please Advise Me by Theyoungmatron: 4:51pm On Sep 02, 2020
This is way above her duty as a wife except she is a caterer. Something of this magnitude cannot be done easily and it is like asking for more and she has the right to refuse. Cooking, serving, washing and cleaning after 25 men is not a small feat, it is a fulltime job for some people. I know you do not have a househelp, just her and the kids with the running of the home. That's how african men allow their wives to age before their time.
. Hire a caterer and let your wife do the serving.
Utilize a caterer or do the cooking by yourself.

It may seems so trivial to some, but it's still deception and betrayal nonetheless especially for those that values the truth.

EducationRe: Pls What Is Your Advice To A Guy That Wants To Study Nursing by Theyoungmatron: 2:11pm On Aug 01, 2020
Kindly note that Nursing in Nigeria is not what is obtainable in other countries. The profession is at its abyssmal low in Nigeria even though it has been trying in recent time. In Mozambique, South Sudan and other countries, nurse/midwives are undertaking complex procedures and some obstetric surgeries. If your goals is to stay back in this "ghost town" choose other profession, if not, you are in a very lucrative profession outside Nigeria spheres.

Meanwhile, Nursing is a distinct PROFESSION LIKE MEDICINE AND PHARMACY.
It is neither medicine nor pharmacy, rather each knows a fraction of what is obtainable in the other profession to be able to work effectively. If nurses should know more than 50% of what is in medicine then there is no need to have a doctor, is there?

If your interest is in obstetrics, you can proceed to maternal and child health nursing at graduate level.

You should emancipate yourself from mental and misogynistic slavery.
This is a working class lady. A peri-operative nurse that works at a teaching hospital earning 6 figures per month. So she should wait for a man to take care of herself before she does? Get yourself out of that environment and mixed with people with high intelluctual ability and earning skills

I still stand stand on my earlier statement.
I don't know if you've ever worked as a healthcare giver in Nigeria. You'll be frustrated.
I've tried both within and outside.
The situation in Nigeria is terrible.
Health-seeking behaviour is almost zero.
No one outside Nigeria will cough out blood once and still remain at home, waiting for another episode, even on the background of a chronic cough.
If you re-read the post, you'll find out what the guy is looking for is the cause(diagnosis) and solution on a social media!
Not even a direction on the appropriate health facility to go to.
Who would evaluate and diagnose a case of chronic cough and haemoptysis on the social media or even telemedicine without investigation results?
In most cases, what they want is what they call a home remedy or herbal concoctions, even when a diagnosis is yet to be made.

Reassurance will continue to keep them at home.
Then, when the woman starts gasping for air, they'd rush her to the nearest hospital.
And if she eventually fails to make it, the relatives, who have been nonchalant all these while, will gather together and burn down the hospital for not saving the her.
That's the usual scenario in Nigeria, and I'm sure it has not changed.
I still stand on mine

There's no anxiety here.
FavourNation post=91558040:
good evening fellow nairalanders,

please i need your assistance. i will be very brief and direct.

my mum has been coughing out blood for some time now(mostly early morning).
i really do not know what's wrong.
going to the hospital would have been viable but with the current state of things in the country, she isn't buying the idea yet.
Health professionals in the house please help. by telling me the cause and possible solution.
thanks in advance
This woman has been coughing out blood for sometime now; it didn't just start today.
And according to the Op again, going to the hospital is not in the list of their agenda.
The OP is just looking for an easy way out in a situation where there's none.
That's just typical of Nigerians in general; they don't like going to the hospital.
In most cases they only go when the condition has become irredeemable, and then expect miracles from the same hospitals they know are poorly equipped.
Part of our roles here is to make them see reasons why they should go the hospitals early in the course of their illness.
That's what the person you quoted was trying to do.
What you're reassuring might even be lung cancer, as against TB. Let them run to the hospital
Check out the emboldened in his submission. He wanted her to go but the mum isn't buying it.
The use of telemedicine has been helpful with patients' problems and allaying anxiety especially in this pandemic era.

With telehealth, which has made an inroad of recent, one of the driving principles is health education and directing client to appriopriate resources for their health-care.
Telehealth is the distribution of health-related services and information via electronic information and telecommunication technologies.[1] It allows long-distance patient and clinician contact, care, advice, reminders, education, intervention, monitoring, and remote admissions..

As a Nigerian, the thought of going to a hospital is already an anxiety provoking situation, so saying that there is no anxiety here is unfair and improper. Illness is a major cause of anxiety for both patients and their families and shouldn't be waved aside on the altar of "that's how patients behaves....".

Also note my word, needs reassurance to forge ahead

The FRONT PAGE will ADMIT her mother abiiii...?
IF her MOM is truly coughing up blood, she wouldn't be on NAIRALAND in the first place.
She expects NAIRALAND to proceed with Investigations, admission, diagnosis, treatment, possibly discharge her with a Follow up care.
NAIRALAND don Suffer.
NOTHING we no go see here...
Allay his anxiety first because he is obviously panicking and needs reassurance to forge ahead. When the unexpected happens, commonsense flews through the windows.
A list of probable causes of the haemoptysis, what they will expect, the likely procedures they will encounter in the course of the management and any soothing home remedies prior to going to the hospital especially in this pandemic era will go a long way.
Thats how it's done back in the day.

What will get you out of a depressive state is in you sir, just like peak milk.
Exercise to get the blood pumping if your health can allow it.
Maybe you haven't had a good sex in a while or do you think your XXXX stuff can't handle it or it has been reduced to XX or even X size. grin grin grin
You need to increase your endorphin, dopamines and the oxytocins with a nice sex romps, sir. Sex can be therapeutic, you know. If you still needs your babymama then be the bigger person.
Facetime your family members and friends.
Go to social media and create controversial topics that you are familiar with. Arguments you have won over and over again in the past. It will keep you busy until this wave of depressive state passes.
Go online, facebook precisely and search for Dave Chapelle shows, Kevin Harts, Trevor Noahs etc and have a good laugh.
Take a trip if you can afford it.
Visit friends and let them do the talking.
If you are a catholic or moslem or whatever, i'd suggest you go to the chapel or mosque and sleep for an hour. The tranquility, the silence and including the perceived feeling that a supreme being knew you are there is kinda reassuring and uplifting.

If it becomes so overwhelming, you can seek out the helps of professionals. I wish you well.
