JoeEeL:I call them calamities in the waiting. Araujo looks promising though, but he needs to be in a better more-defensive minded set-up. |
Beverlyjean:What exactly are you yapping about? Don't you have a totally anonymous and ineffectual Ronaldo today to worry about? but no, you still dey chook mouth into Messi matter cho cho cho when you get CR7 bamboo for your eye. Oh I forgot, na all eyes on Messi on top say na im be the GOAT. Begone madame. I dont have your time tonight. |
Barca has a big problem - they have a defence that simply cannot withstand sustained pressure from any decent opposition. This is what is frustrating Messi. How can you not hold on to a lead with only a few minutes to the end of the match against a decent opponent (fine, they beat madrid a few days ago but that should have been a warning to Barca). If Koeman doesn't address this issue drastically, the annual scandalous UCL defeat will be yet another certainty come February or March. I guess there's always a first time for everything. For Messi, it's his first red card for Barca. It's sad cos he was very active in this game in his playmaking role. Congrats to Bilbao. |
RIP sir. Wow, The second wave of Covid is wreaking havoc closer to home o. Nigerians who say Covid in Nigeria is a scamdemic are unbelievably ignorant. They think they are wise but their ignorance is unparalleled. There are so many ways to puncture many of the stupid arguments they raise. How you leave something so obvious to now hold on to unfounded theories beggars reason. How are they different from those typically demented conspiracy theorists? |
Almost all kids are like that if you allow them. But me I noticed that watching cartoons really helped to build the English vocabulary of my 5 yr old boy far quicker than only school efforts would have done. Its because of that I still allow him to watch it well as long as his grades are not dropping. |
Beverlyjean:Why do you like playing ostrich in the sand? He actually included Neymar and Ronaldo in his comparison based on their time in La liga. His actual words were: "A player like Neymar gives you a following in countries that look out for him, but he's not an essential element, not even Cristiano Ronaldo was. Lionel Messi, on the other hand, is an essential element because he's the heritage of La Liga" I'm sure you'd still try to spin something irrelevant and twist his words. |
Beverlyjean:Lol, you just like unnecessary arguments even when things are obvious, FYI, Jaio Felix of Atletico Madrid alone is better and more highly rated than all the players you listed. Immobile does not count for comparison as he was in the Serie A before CR7 joined, so don't expand the goalpost. You should learn the habit of not arguing against facts, it makes you come across as not so smart. The fact is Barca, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid combined have fared better than Juventus, Inter-milan and Atalanta in the UCL since CR7 joined Serie A. Now that's a fact which leads to the obvious interpretation that La liga teams are still better than Serie A teams. Bringing up irrelevancies is actually irrelevant. Your points are very watery, but you have the right to keep them running. |
Beverlyjean:The Oga of La liga has said that Messi is the heritage of La liga, that he is the most important asset to La liga since he started playing. Who are you to challenge that or say otherwise? Do you know more than Javier Tebas, who is a renowned real madrid fan?? Mehn, the audacity is amusing. ![]() |
Beverlyjean:Are you sure you want us to go this route? Eden Hazard, Ousmane Dembele, Coutinho, Jaio Felix, all joined La liga after CR7 left RM and are all more highly rated than all those who joined Serie A after CR7 joined. No matter how dead La liga is, it cannot be as dead as the Serie A which is in its worst period ever. At least Barca has reached semi-finals and UCL QF since. No Serie A team has gone beyond QF since CR7 joined and actually most don't make it out of the group stages in the recent seasons. Tell me what can be deader than that madame. The one-off scandalous defeats Barca has experienced cannot erase this fact. |
Beverlyjean:If EPL flops/rejects/Old cargoes like Lukaku, Sanchez, Ramsey and Eriksson are those you are referring to as top players, then I fear for your affinity for mediocrity. An average league like the Serie A truly suits you and your ilk then. |
DesChyko:- This comment by Tebas in 2019 absolutely nullifies your assertion: "A player like Neymar gives you a following in countries that look out for him, but he's not an essential element, not even Cristiano Ronaldo was. Lionel Messi, on the other hand, is an essential element because he's the heritage of La Liga". I have nothing to add because it is from the source, the oracle of La liga itself. DesChyko:Maybe not a sendforth, but if you are resigning from your workplace and no one persuaded you to stay, then it shows you are not seen as adding value there. That's common knowledge in the corporate ecosystem. DesChyko:Bros, it was a prolonged saga. Barca and la liga were running helter skelter to persuade Messi to change his mind. That sends a strong signal. DesChyko:I do not dispute this but it also doesn't nullify the argument. At least 8 came during Messi's era, which the EPL cannot match (5 UCLs), so indeed in the past 20 years, the La liga has been a better league than the EPL and the Serie A/Bundesliga. |
Beverlyjean:Unfortunately this illusion lives only in your head. You cannot know more about la liga than the la liga president himself Tebas who declared that Messi is La Liga's greatest asset. Only CR7 fans shifted to Serie A which is expected. When CR7 wanted to leave Madrid, both RM and La liga authority didn't bat an eye-lid to at least even pretend to not want him to leave. He was even criticized for being selfish. When Messi wanted to leave, it took the prolonged collaboration of the league authority and Barca to fashion out a way to stop him from leaving. You know why? They know who really matters to the league. Messi was and is La liga's soul. |
Messi does not need any award to validate that he is the top of the pile when it comes to playmaking, dribbling or goal scoring. It's visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. No other player comes close in all-round ability to deliver. The greatest player in football history |
obonujoker:Oga, Porto isn't part of the traditional big teams even though they had very good players then and a very good coach in Mourinho then. But this isnt my argument with you so why are you shifting goalposts?? Despite my acknowledgement of their good players and coach, many football experts believe Porto benefited from the fall of the big weight teams to other teams after the second round and Porto did not play any big team from the QF to the final (Lyon, Deportivo and Monaco). That's why there's been a big "what if" question mark about the merits of Porto's UCL win in 2004. |
obonujoker: Your response is totally out of sync with what we are discussing. Are you sure you are not mistaking my post for sb else's? What I'm putting to you is that all the big teams flopped/were not in form during 2003/2004 UCL. You said they didn't and I'm saying they did, with facts. Then you go off-tangent with the above. |
obonujoker:Don't shift goalposts, so if Man utd gets dumped out of the FA Cup QF by Aston Villa, are you telling me they haven't flopped in your own view? In UCL 03/04, none of the traditional big teams made the semi-final, and you are saying they didn't flop after being dumped out by relative minnows. Of course, they were not the best (in-form) teams then, cos if they were, they'd be in the UCL latter stages. It's obvious you are just trying to save face cos what you re saying must look ridiculous even to you. Don't worry I wont rub it in even if you admit ![]() |
obonujoker:Bros you are the ignorant one here and that guy you quoted is actually right. In 2003/2004 UCL, all the big teams flopped: Real Madrid was eliminated by Monaco in the QF, Man utd was eliminated by Porto in the final match of the group stage. AC Milan was dumped out by Deportivo La Coruna while Liverpool couldnt even make the UCL at all. Bayern Munich was dumped out in the second round by an upcoming Ranieri's Chelsea team while Barcelona couldnt make it into the UCL knockout stages at all. The 2004 UCL final was played between Porto and Monaco, (more like a group stage tie). In fact the semi-finalists were Porto, Deportivo, Monaco and Ranieri's Chelsea. Go figure. So yes, again you are the ignorant one and stop sounding like you understand football very well when you have a poor knowledge of its history! |
thebosstrevor1:You are correct, I misinterpreted your comment my bad. |
thebosstrevor1:Yes, business premises tax is 5k per location. The 30% you are referring to is the corporate tax and not VAT. VAT was formerly 5% but now 7.5%. |
ascek:OP, Let me simplify this for you. The only relevant information you provided to answer your question, is that you made a net profit of N500thousand. You did not provide info about your company's turnover. Therefore, I will clarify based on assumed scenarios. If your annual revenue/turnover that generated the 500k profit is less than N25million, you are exempted from paying any corporate income tax to the Government on the 500k profit. This is because you will be considered as a small company. If your turnover is between N25 - 100million, you will pay 20% of your taxable profit as corporate tax. (Note that taxable profit is not the same as your 500k here but is calculated based on specific rules in the tax law). Also, note that your company is not required to pay any VAT (different from income tax) to the Government where your annual turnover is less than N25million. The current VAT rate is 7.5% and your company will only be required to include it in your invoices to your customers and remit it to the FG where your yearly revenue is above 25million. |
Isn't Josef Bican on 805 goals, when did it become 759 goals? Don't think this record is true. Below is from GOAL.com.

For a working class person |
Mikehot:Yes, with the ways things are going, jail's a real possibility especially if he is impeached. I understand why he needed to do this broadcast. Both Dems and even GOP guys are really scared of what Trump can do in these remaining 12 days to sabotage the transition program on the 20th. He is considered to be that unhinged and powerful. That's why all the social media giants have clamped down on him. |
Lol, watching through his broadcast, it's remarkable to see the complete turnaround in Trump's demeanour and message of hope and reconciliation for Americans. He even denounced his supporters who invaded the Capitol. See how he sounded so presidential and coherent in this message. Where did he keep all this in these past four years? Omo as Baba don dey fear 2nd impeachment from 25th amendment, his brain was involuntarily reset to have sense. In the end, twas much braggadocio about nothing. Congratulations "Sleepy Joe". cc. Boss Mynd44 |
benikad:Where did you get it done? |
Odewaleadesoye:Lol, Your innocent reply to the sarcastic comment you quoted is extremely funny. You genuinely thought he was referring to a rare specie of python. Buratainic python - python owned by our COAS Buratai |
chariisGRACE:The reporting is unbelievably unprofessional. In one part it stated the Alhaja was killed in the bush. In another part, the woman was shot was hospitalized and not dead. Very disjointed crude journalism. |
xenastar:Should that now be an excuse for harboring stinking dirt in your body? What do you mean don't touch raw poop, wont your hands become clean when you wash them with soap and sanitize? As a mother, are you telling me your hand will never touch your baby's poop when cleaning (even with wipes, there's still contact sometimes) I see that you are mistaking your personal sentiments for a logical choice. So pray tell between the two people below, who's more hygienic? 1st person: cleans up buttocks with water (or water and soap), washes hand thoroughly with soap and water. Result: Both ass and hands are clean 2nd person: Uses tissue to clean up, washes hands thoroughly. Result: Hands are clean with dirty smelly ass. Except you are a dumbo, the answer is a no-brainer |
StacyO:Lol, see my earlier comment where I tagged you. Dry tissue still leaves a lot of shit smear on the ass no matter how many times you use it. Try it for yourself. After you've finished your normal tissue wiping business, wet another roll of tissue and wipe, you'd be surprised at what you've been harboring in between those beautiful cheeks all this while ![]() |
masterP042:I used to think like you regarding the emboldened part. The one day at the office, after wiping with tissue about 12 times (I finished over half the roll of big-sized tissue) at the thirteenth time, the tissue was as white after wiping as it was before entry. Something just nudged me to moisten another tissue roll and use. I did this and lo and behold the wet tissue was dark brown all over. The fact is after dry wiping with tissue, just know that there are still tons of shit left in your ass that the dry tissue cannot pick up whether you have hairy balls or not. That singular experience made me switch to water. It is indisputably more hygienic than using tissue as it will remove all fecal matter. Of course you should wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water but Nigerians generally lack proper hand washing hygiene after toilet use and this applies to both tissue and water users. So it is not a distinguishing factor between both options. For ladies saying use tissue and bath afterwards, my question is this, when bathing will you dip your hands into and wash the innermost part of the ass vigorously as one would have done immediately after pooing and rinsing with water? If this is not done, there'll be a lot of unwashed shit smear lodged in between those beautiful ass cheeks. cc StacyO |
Eriokanmi:Bro you can shed more light on your experience bro on the frontpage of a subsequent Covid-19 related thread so that many Nairalanders that are saying its a scam and they dont know anybody that has caught it can be cured of their ignorance because it's really sickening how idiots will just open their mouth and boldly say "It doesn't exist" when one has had a first-hand encounter with the virus. |
