pongwa:Well, that may be a general truism. But as of now, Messi is still irreplaceable at Barca. |
FuckThaMod:Don't ever quote me again if your comments cannot reflect someone with at least an electron of sense. Opta also quoted Zanetti with 16 dribbles in a match against Dynamo Kiev in 2003 as a joint record holder with Messi and Neymar. Were you blind not to have seen that or in your own twisted intelligence world, 2006 is earlier than 2003? CR7's 20 dribbles in a match is false, a figment of imagination of fraudulent CR7 fans. I know it's an uphill task. But God help me, I'm ready to help you upgrade this your abysmal IQ. So go ahead and give me yet another dumb rebuttal. |
Threebear:So in what scenario/permutation will you have a Laycon win? |
CodeTemplar:I fully agree This is what CR7 fans are refusing to come to terms with. |
Beverlyjean:I already told you that you only seem to have a modicum of sense whenever you are not deluded by CR7's handsome face. Ronaldo is not the most expensive footballer in the world. If Juventus were realizing a significant returns on investment in him, it does not make sense to offload him. It simply means he is deemed SURPLUS to requirements when you consider his supposedly "excellent" performance relative to the cost of his engagement to the club. Why is the most expensive footballer in the world not being bandied around like a Gypsy? Olodo Rabata. |
Jake420:Try comprehend small na. Since you at least agree that he is not the highest paid player in the world, why are they not looking to offload the highest paid player in the world like they are doing now for the second highest paid player?? It's simply about Returns on Investment. You gerrit now?? |
Beverlyjean:Says you, a CR7 fan. FYI, they've been begging BARCA, PSG & Bayern Munich to come and help them carry their load ![]() |
Beverlyjean:Ode you can't read abi "Ronaldo OFFERED TO Barcelona" Not Barcelona wanting to buy CR7" Also in the write-up, it was stated that it was more of Juventus tasking Jorge Mendes with FINDING A CLUB for CR7. You CR7 fans can lie a lot sha. That's how you guys lied that he had the highest ever dribbles in a match against Benfica until OptaJoe bust your lies yesterday with the fact that the record was actually held by Messi and Zanetti before Neymar matched it yesterday. If your oga is that good, you don't need to be lying to pad him up. |
Jake420:Oga don't disgrace yourself. What do you mean by he's not affordable by any means. He is neither the most expensive footballer nor the highest wage earner in the world. What it means is that the returns on investment in CR7 is simply not considered high enough by Juventus, else they wouldn't be looking to offload him. |
Barca no want abeg. Imagine some peoples goat being offered around like a pot of sacrifice to the various gods. It simply means Juventus considers him replaceable at a lower cost. |

Bannylove13:Lol, see painment from an OBVIOUS TRIBALIST. Go and tell YUL EDOCHIE that he is a Yoruba AGBERO. Dey there dey reason like mumu. When you can't understand the MOVEMENT, then you resort to insults. The train has moved past you bro. ![]() |
NENGIsmells:Don't even go there at all. Laycon's big Gbola alone has provided more premium content on this show than Tochi and Eric combined. The owner of the gbola may be acting dumb for now, but he will snap out of it sooner rather than later. |
thatigboman:You wey dey act like Laycon collect your wife, sister and every other female that matters to you join. Laycon lives inside of your head rent free. |
Baba4kinatu:Did they hack this moniker? One of the most vocal haters of Laycon, second only to thatigboman. |
This Erica HOH win pained Prince gan o. He never thought it was possible she could surpass him. And why does Prince keep assuming that deep boring eyes posture making him to look like Papa Ajasco or Lucky Johnson. Guy is a clown I swear. |
Munzy14:How time flies! That's Bolo Yeung, Van Damme's kicking mat |
obonujoker:It appears you're the same as Jokerman? Cos you have a similar penchant for pointless arguments. Even Phillipe Senderos has done snakebite in training, that doesn't mean you can bring up a conversation comparing him to Ronaldinho in snakebites by any stretch of the imagination. Just let it rest, okay? |
Pimpmaride:You that I can still see CR7's tears from Friday reflecting from your face. Barca fan my foot! |
obonujoker:It's one match at a time oga. Why die already for a battle that is yet to come. The important thing is that on this night, Messi gave us a masterclass which is what is giving Barca a chance against Bayern, something that CR7 cannot boast of. And you losers were all about hyping CR7 yesterday while his team lost, and began to bring up irrelevant records about him. I am sure that if Barca had bungled the match tonight say 3-3, Barca fans would not be putting focus on Messi's brilliant performance. I'm sure you wouldn't as well, seeing that you are not even giving him credit when they've done well. This just shows that Messi is held to a higher standard of performance than any other player. Got no problem with that tho as that's the cost of being the GOAT |
Congrats to Bayern and Barca. These deluded CR7 fans have got nothing to say sotey they begin to yarn rubbish. On a night when Messi's brilliance sent Barca to the quarterfinals, they keep talking off-topic. They are so pained that their brain is empty of anything sensible instead of just accepting their L in peace. Messi's wonderful performance today is just normal for him. No need to make much fuss about it. He even had another wondergoal unjustly disallowed. He has the highest standards of football set for him of all players in the world. Just another day at the office for the GOAT. |
This is a normal brilliant Messi performance. It's a shame VAR denied him unjustly of a brilliant goal. |

drkrest:See how you are slamming first name on your Grandfather's mate, judging from your profile picture. |
This is a shocker o, and a pointer for those who believe that COVID is over and that precautions are no longer necessary. The Russian roulette has struck again! RIP. |
obonujoker: Is that one a player? You and I know that CR7 is Juve's point man. Higuaín na just waka pass. |

TheRealProphet:See overhyping. Since when does a penalty become a wonderful goal? And why are you sounding like Ronaldo was not supposed to score for Juventus against Lyon over two legs? Is he that bad that the expectation was for him not to score at all, such that him scoring 2 goals against an average Lyon side over two legs is something out of the ordinary?? I don't understand this kind of reasoning o. You mean if Luis Suarez scores 2 goals against Napoli, and Barca gets eliminated (God forbid), all we will be singing about is how Suarez did Barca a favour by scoring 2 goals against a slightly above average Napoli side? Make no mistake, CR7 had a very good performance against Lyon yesterday. But he was only doing his job as Juve's main striker. So stop making it look like he was doing Juve a favour. |
DrayZee:Oga, you are colouring Ronaldo's present predicament with his past exploits and that's what you are basing your unnecessary hype on. Let me break it down for you. The subject under discussion is CR7's situation with Juve this season. After all being said and done, he has scored a whopping 4 UCL goals this season and is already exited at the second round. If you were looking at an annual performance report, will you be ecstatic about this kind of results, and then start to say, well I did very well four years ago, So I'm the bla bla bla. Nobody can take away his UCL history, but with the current situation at hand, that's irrelevant, as he was brought to Juve to help them win the UCL. Whether his introduction into Juve has changed the team dynamics is what I cannot tell. And you keep talking as if Ronaldo is different from the Juventus team. He is now a part and parcel of the team just as Dybala. He is their main striker. I don't know why many CR7 fans keep acting surprised whenever CR7 scores or does well for Juve as if that is not what he was brought there to do. Is Immobile helping Lazio or he is an integral part of Lazio? If Liverpool were playing Lyon at home and Sadio Mane scored 2 goals and then Liverpool gets eliminated, I am sure Mane wouldn't be hyped because it's expected of his role and the focus will be much on Liverpool's elimination. People need to learn to put things into context before making submissions. So brother, stop mixing apples and oranges together. |
People might say City benefited from RM defender errors, but this was because City's players forced the Madrid players into making those errors. I remember Real Madrid a few seasons ago when all their opponents from PSG, B Munich, Juventus and Liverpool were gifting Madrid with free goals from errors. I discovered that this was due to the fear factor Madrid carried such that all the teams they played made one form of error or the other till they won the UCL. Man City now has that same fear factor. Kudos to Guardiola. |
