Openbusiness3:Are the categories based on height or weight? |
Listen to this - A staggering 40% of all Ronaldo's goals in Seria A this season have been penalties. A classic case of stats padding! |
Kamaru looks bigger and more built up than Adesanya. But I've always wondered why he is in a lighter weight category than Adesanya who is in the middleweight division? Congrats Kamaru anyway |
brightdestiny96:I think it's also called a Dugong |
Beverlyjean:Lie Lie Beverlyjean. The last time CR7 scored up to 50 goals for a club in a single season was in early 2016, over four years ago when he was 31. Meanwhile, Messi at 32, still scored 51 goals in all competitions last season. So you see, you are actually the deranged person who has made a conclusion on a public forum based on falsified information (as is mysteriously common with many CR7 fans). Your lies actually show that Messi has been better at a similar age. Also I don't understand the mediocrity on display here, the next thing , after failing to score a freekick for over 2 years and then finally score one, is to start shouting how that's the best thing to happen since sliced bread How does that silence critics? Is that not still a poor free kick return? If a striker who hasn't scored a goal for months finally scores one after almost a year, does that mean he should start boasting over other strikers who have been scoring tons of goals during this same period?? I am at a loss here, or is it that CR7's standards have crashed so abysmally![]() And Messi's recent actions is aimed at putting the Barca board on their toes, because they are running the club in an appalling way, because they have the mindset that they have insurance in Messi's continued stay at the club. Messi wants to change that rhetoric, and that's why he's threatening with exit. Lie lie Beverlyjean |
In the end, Ko-Pay rara. |
baby124:It's not my fault your capacity to assimilate is limited. Stop trying to hide your intellectual shortcoming under the guise of being busy. You have a job and you've been ranting on this thread since afternoon?? If you had a meaningful job you'd not be demonstrating such an embarrassing gap in understanding of the workings within the top echelon of the corporate industry. |
Jarus:Don't mind them. Just exerting themselves out of overzealous ignorance. It's a problem of limited exposure of how the corporate big players work. Imagine them still being fixated on salaries. An ED of a bank doesn't just earn salaries, there are bonuses which can be quite significant, allowances and other perks outside of the gross salaries. Also consider investments they'd have. Now compare with an MD of a multinational oil giant subsidiary. I mean there are Partners of big four firms in Nigeria who have earned up to 4billion Naira from their 25 - 30 year careers. Do they not also earn salaries? It's quite amusing when ignorance is so loud. |
baby124:What has my age got to do with this? I see you are rather emotional than factual. If not you would not tell me to go and find out information elsewhere when my own mum was a nurse working with the State Government then. Do you not know that the value of Ajimobi's earnings in 2002 is much greater than the same amount of money in 2011? Do you understand the concept of revaluation at all? And I have already roughly adjusted for inflation in my analysis. Assuming Ajimobi even earned $200k in 2002, is it not much more higher in value in Nigeria than someone earning $600k currently So what then do you mean by OBJ and GEJ inflation has hit? Did it hit the value of Ajimobi's earnings back in 2002? If anything the inflation had helped to push the value of Ajimobi's assets up by 2011. You need to understand basic economic concepts first. There is a difference between earnings and assets value. Go and learn that first and come back to the table for discussion. |
baby124:Firstly, my mum a nurse with the state government was earning N30,000 per month in 1999 and she was not even a matron. So where did you get your 500 Naira per month from? In 2000, just after finishing secondary school, very young teenage me earned N2,000 within one and a half week of vouching marked WAEC papers. Secondly, our parents did not work in the oil sector. So you cannot compare them to Ajimobi who worked within a multinational oil group. The value of Ajimobi's assets in 2011 would have been also much lower when he purchased them much earlier. So it goes both ways. I hope you understand my analysis, it's based on facts and not just here and there submissions |
baby124:Baby124, see I understand and respect your stance and it's commendable seeing the strong anti-corruption drive you are displaying here. But then, you need to ask yourself, are your current submissions based on factual information or have you just decided to pack all political personalities under the corruption bucket irrespective of whatever facts come to light. Personally, I hate corruption with passion. However, I also assess circumstances objectively, because if my perspectives are based on falsehood/misrepresentations, then I am no better than the uneducated illiterate. Accordingly, it will do you well to calm down a bit and consider the facts objectively: 1. Many of the assets that Ajimobi declared especially the houses and land were based on current revaluation by professionals close to the time of his declaration. This means that he did not purchase those assets at the same monetary value of their current valuation in 2011 (e.g the house valued at 300million in VGC could have been actually purchased at N100million a decade earlier but revalued in line with current economic realities) 2. The fact that he worked and rose to MD within the Shell Group for 26years. The salaries bonuses and allowances he earned in a top multi-national can indeed support those assets declared. Let's look at the mathematics, An MD of a shell subsidiary will earn hundreds of millions of Naira per annum. Heck, by virtue of my job, I know MDs of manufacturing companies that earn between N150 - N250million per annum. If Ajimobi was MD for just three years he will have earned at least N1billion naira as MD. If he earned a weighted average salary of N50million (entry level to manager to director i.e average from 15m - 150m) per annum for 22years, he will have earned at least another N1 billion. You should know that the earnings of a top level director in oil sector in just 6 years at top management level, can be equivalent to the earnings of the same person for 20 years at lower to mid-management level i.e in just 6 years he could have earned 1.5billion while in his previous 20 years could also have brought something similar. 3. Accordingly, it is not far-fetched to conclude that Ajimobi might have realized over N2.5billion (16 million dollars at 2011 exchange rates) from his stint within the oil sector for 26 years (average of 600,000 dollars per annum). This was the point Jarus was trying to make you see about the increasing earning trajectory (i.e Jarus is saying that by the time he is 60, he would likely have more than the assets Ajimobi declared in 2011 based on his current earnings and career trend). Coupled with income from other sources (senatorship and personal companies) we will be likely looking at over 3billion Naira for Ajimobi, which is more than the PURCHASE value of the total assets he declared back in 2011 4. To put the above in context by benchmarking, I know top Partners of big-four accounting firms (less lucrative when compared to oil sector) who earned over 3billion Naira in ten years of being partner. This is excluding their earnings from entry staff level to director which typically takes about 11 to 14 years. So in the accounting industry for a 24 year career, you are looking at total earnings of over N3.5billion, all perfectly legitimate. So please learn to look at things critically before taking a strong stance on them so that you are not misguided. I mean If I earned 4billion Naira throughout a brilliant career of mine. It will be totally unfair and unreasonable if someone were to attribute my wealth to corruption. |
Lol, I remember this so called CHARON the Ferryman and his coins o. If you've watched CLASH OF THE TITANS (The original film version), Charon was the skeleton guy covered in black cloth that ferried PERSEUS, son of Zeus, across the steam-covered lake to Hades where the witches lived. Remember that Perseus had to give him a coin before he could move the canoe. I particularly recall those skeletoid fingers clasping the coin firm before he rowed to the land of the MEDUSA. Now, Charon's coins have been found. So the legend is real. Interesting. |
Aww, Thanks CR7. Every-time shouldn't be for fighting. |
Rozz:Alright then. Glad you have now been enlightened. Just to satisfy my curiosity and avoid the same trap you fell into, please is there any other trigger that can cause a lady to be wet in her vagina other than sexual arousal? Looking forward to your experienced clarification on this ![]() |
Omosefeeguaibor, It's quite irresponsible for you to ignore the potential risk you may constitute to others whom you come in contact with who may not be so lucky as you are. Anosmia (loss of smell and taste) is a definitive symptom of COVID 19. The fact that you are not having any other symptom doesn't mean it's not COVID. Covid doesn't cause severe symptoms in ninety out of a hundred people. But it will be morally wrong for those 90 people to knowingly constitute a death threat to others whose immune system may have been compromised on account of age, or any other underlying disease. I get it that you are trying to be positive about yourself. Your sense of smell and taste may even return to you quickly. But the appropriate step for you to take right now is to get tested for COVID. If you are unable to do so, ensure you self-isolate to protect others just in case it's COVID. Remember that the fact that symptoms may disappear does not mean a COVID infected person is free from COVID. Only a test can determine that. In the absence of a test, self-isolate for two weeks at the minimum, even when you are feeling alright. This helps to prevent you from infecting another person who may in turn infect another person and the chain continues, and you don't know who will be the one to die from this chain of infection. Wish you speedy recovery and safe health. |
Rozz:I don't trust you. I suspect you might have wanted to tag the innocent little boy as a potential pervert! without having full understanding of the male anatomy. I think I remember your comment in another thread insinuating that once a man has an erection, it signifies that he has consented to have sex. Such a glaring display of ignorance. |
Angelfrost:I agree. They'd better not lose! |
frankmoney:It's like common sense took a leave of absence from you bro. Can't waste my time with a dumbo. Ciao. |
Angelfrost:Football isn't like that bro. I'm a Barca fan. If you watch Napoli in crucial games, you'd see that they know how to sit and defend deep with numbers and launch counter-attacks. They used that to frustrate Barca in the first leg, and now Juventus as well. It's quite obvious that Barca's level of creativity has dwindled over the years and are also known to be susceptible to counter attacks. So Barca needs to be very very careful against Napoli in the return leg. |
frankmoney:Please drop this idiotic argument. Messi has scored much more goals against Sevilla than Eibar. 37 goals in 38 games against Sevilla. He has already scored against Sevilla this season. So you are not making sense. Imagine someone taunting DROGBA for not scoring in a match against ARSENAL?? |
obonujoker:This your post sha. I dunno whether it's for me or against me ![]() I'll assume you understood and agree with my point! |
JOHNSONSOLAFUNMI:Because he was the WORST PLAYER ON THE PITCH in a CUP FINAL. Ask LucaToni and Sarri for confirmation! And to show you that Messi is held to a higher standard of criticism than your oga, in last year's Copa Del Rey's final against Valencia, Messi was heavily criticized, by Nairalanders inclusive, DESPITE SCORING BARCA'S ONLY GOAL AND BEING THEIR BEST PLAYER ON THE PITCH! If Ronaldo were to score in a final while also playing well, and he lost, he wont be touched by the media. They'd blame his teammates. |
Pendu's fans talking nonsense as usual. Misery loves company so they say. On this one sha, Messi no dey your miserable company This season, Messi has already scored the winning goal against Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad and also against Sevilla in the first leg, all of which are top six opponents in La liga. So all this Eibar singing pained peeps should go and have a sit and just observe the GOAT in awe and silence. Imagine taunting Messi against SEVILLA? Sevilla that is Messi's favorite opponent, a club that he has scored a whopping 37 goals against! Abeg go and sit down if you don't have any tangible comment to make. |
I don't know what to believe again o. Is he dead or not? |
All those deceiving themselves that Corona is not in Cross River. You don see am? See, Corona is like pregnancy, it will always show in the end, and put an end to all lies. If Nigerians don't take precautions, Corona will continue to show itself. Our only prayer is that the death rate be reduced. |
kadiri3:And what is the basis for your belief that it does not exist? Just your hunch? Are you a doctor or health care worker to warrant making that baseless statement? You better change your mindset. I will advise you that even if you don't believe, make sure you use your face masks when you go out and keep your distance from people as much as possible, so that you minimize the threat you constitute to other people's lives. E go soon clear from your eyes. And if this is of any help, a close family member of mine contracted Covid 19 and was down for almost 2 weeks. But thankfully she has recovered. MODIFIED: I can see that you are a troll that is beyond help, judging from your responses to other posts. If I knew beforehand, I wouldn't have tried to waste my time on an irredeemable dunce. |
Investnow2017:You are spot on. All those Covidiots in Nigeria who have been shouting scam all over and are now trying to turn around to blame the Govt for the rise in cases and deaths, should please shut up and bow their ignorant heads in shame. They themselves are the chief cause of the rise in cases and deaths because they are not taking safety precautions and keep putting others at risk. And many Nigerians are in that bucket. |
Lordave:Yes he died from Covid 19 complications about 2 or 3 weeks ago. |
Tastemoney:What symptoms are you experiencing? |
Grandmeister:My point is not about enforcing lockdown until the cure is found. That's not economically feasible in a disorganized developing country like Nigeria. My point is that people are wrong to abandon safety precautions (face mask, social distancing, etc) just because they believe it's a scam by the Govt. The countries that are opening up now have already learnt how to manage the plague during the months of lockdown. So the lockdown was necessary for them to learn the ropes when it is eventually eased off. Smallpox virus was completely eliminated via a cure (vaccine). If we let all Nigerians catch Covid 19 to gain herd immunity, we are simply playing a game of Russian roulette, do we know who amongst us will be one of the estimated casualties of about 2 - 4million people (at 98 - 99% survival rate)? |
Yampotatocarrot:I hear you sir. But let me tell you, not even Wole Soyinka can reasonably undermine those points I have raised, if he chooses to. If someone doubts the prevalence of COVID 19, what's their basis? Is it logical or just unfounded hearsays that can be shredded by the average keen mind. A virus is ravaging the population of a country, you say the Government isn't truthful with it. What's the correlation between an independent minded virus that doesn't differentiate Government from masses, and the reportage that the Govt is providing on it? Whether NCDC is making some mistakes or not, the fact is that COVID is infecting people steadily in Nigeria. Even if the Government is inaccurate with reportage, is the correct response to then abandon all safety precautions the way Nigerians are doing? |
Grandmeister:You are proving my point. I believe you and I did not have to wait until I got to know someone who died of Malaria before I believed. My point is that it is foolish to wait until you see someone affected by COVID before you believe with all the other glaring evidence on ground. |
