Lamasta:Bro, 1. Why should Mbappe stop playing just because the ball was not passed to him? 2. Why would he bump into Messi when he was facing Messi's direction and even if it was unintentional why didnt he even acknowledge or apologize? Beyond the penalty issue, both actions above shows a high level of arrogance and you dont expect the Media to keep quiet about it. Yes, Neymar is problematic but should Mbappe's response then be arrogance? Even CR7's tantrums after several Ballon dors were not up to this level. Why would you then think Mbappe's actions are justified? He messed up joor. |
Start Messi, bench Neymar and sell Mbappe. I'm selling Mbappe although he's currently the best of the three, he isnt so much of a team player and I think having Messi and a refocused Neymar will be more productive than Messi and Mbappe But then it's a foolish question, why would I want only one when I can get at least 2. That's the beauty of having these superstars together. |
Dannyxy:Actually, and this is from a neutral's perspective here, both Bryann and Hermes were bandwagonned right from the start. In fact there were 4 HMs with bandwagon fans within the shows first 2 days: Bryann - due to his prior musical background, fact that he looked like popular Rema and the social engagement by his management team Hermes- He looked less-privileged and weirdly different, coupled with the pity story about his lost mum. A good number of fans already put him up as the winner from day 2. Phyna - Tacha-like crude but relatable persona from Edo. Also fit the narrative to have a girl winner. Beauty - Hot girl aura. Her beauty and her followership in the first few days swelled like Agege bread. Bandwagonners also flirted with Sheggzz as per finest boy from London and he even trended some hours before his entry. But he was quickly dropped like hot potatoes due to his perceived poshness and arrogance. And to be honest, of the four bandwagon HMs, Bryann is the most bandwagonned cos almost all the support he has had been secured in the first 2 or 3 days and not from anything special he demonstrated in the house. In fact his childish attention-hogging persona is quite repellent and yet his plenty faves have been defending him strongly right from early days. And that is the perfect evidence for the ultimate bandwagonner. Phyna comes close. |
AZControversial:So did Henry because he won the world cup (as France highest goal scorer) become arrogant with Messi and Ronaldinho? Did Gotze, David Villa, Ronaldo de lima and Zidane start to behave like they owned their clubs after winning the world cups as the main protagonists? Mbappe has World Cup, so does Pogba, Greizzmann and Giroud. He has no Ballon dor or UCL yet he's already like this, what would then happen when he wins Ballon dor? |
lexy2014:Oga Lexy, what Mbappe posted on instagram is not the genesis but a response to recent previous issues which I have taken the time to outline below: During their last match, on a counter attack, when Vitinha passed to Messi rather than him, he then stopped running and started walking away almost like going off the field in frustration. He collected PSG's first penalty from Neymar and missed it. When Messi won the second penalty for them, he then went to Neymar again and asked to take it. Neymar refused and scored and celebrated wildly. Several times he tried to dribble too many players when passing to a better placed teammate was a much better option. Distorted the existing chemistry between Neymar and Messi. He slightly shoved Messi at the shoulder while walking back from arguing with Neymar. Messi gave him a bemused look. After the match Neymar liked two fan's instagram posts criticising Mbappe's selfish behaviour. The two of them almost came to blows in the dressing room after the match. Sergio Ramos had to step in and separate them. The new sporting director also had to warn them both. The South American players in the team are behind Neymar. Others like Hakimi are supporting Mbappe. That's the background. |
Lord Mbappe of PSG. The guy has done what no other person has successfully done in history, unite Madrid and Barca fans. Neymar will show him pepper this season. |
emmaodet:Na him dey shout SIU like towncrier. So he con adopt WaSIU as middle name ![]() |
Jokerman:Na Bumbappe buy him own market o. CR na learner where that guy dey in terms of arrogance. The guy has successfully united Madrid and Barca fans with one voice against him. |
Not Goal.com calling Pendu the "Incredible Sulk" for me. FirstbornWds, you journalists can have bad mouth eh ![]() |
ETH, you better let Wasiu the Incredible Sulk leave before he turns you into Erik Ten Haggard I hear Corinthians FC are ready to give him the much needed shelter. Let him go and help them and their 10 wood logs win the intergalactic champions league ![]() |
Biggie don mad ooooo |
Bryann is almost crying. He's insinuating that some of his level mates are not putting in their best e.g Groovy. He then goes to ask his fellows "how many are we left in the house". That really cracked me up. |
I think hermes will be disqualified cos he wrote 2 numbers on his board |
michigang:Sorry I dont really follow PSG's transfer activities, I only know that their new guy in charge of transfers, Luis Ocampos, has an astute reputation for attracting young talents. I just watch them whenever Messi is playing. |
Tranquility2345:That jobless lazy mama works in a big four multinational accounting firm. E be like say you no too sabi that some people can multitask very well. Or you think I'm not at work as I'm replying you now. Except maybe you re just being a troll ![]() |

Messi gave him a "what was that for bloke" look And finally, after the match Neymar liked a fan's post criticising Mbappe's selfish behaviour. Overall not a good picture for a team trying to make a mark in the UCL. |
Jokerman:J.man but why does Clubs Reject 7 like being useless and destroyed by grade B teams in the likes of Brighton, Brentford, Burnley, Watford et al, chopping 4-0s regularly for breakfast? ![]() Your finished asun's house is on fire, you con dey check whether Nepa light dey for the GOAT's mansion. Misplaced priorities. Messi no dey chop this kind of embarassing disgrace. Wasiu just dey collect first class wotowoto upandan. |
mostob:Can't ever remember a 23-year old player showing on the pitch like he owns the club and can do anyhow. Not Maradona, not Messi, not De Lima, not even arrogant CR could dare to stop playing football just because a teammate passed to someone else other than him. Or twice asking to take penalties from the main penalty taker after having missed once. Or hitting Messi by the shoulder. PSG management don buy market. |
First game of the season, too early to be crying wolf. My take on the match below: - No fluidity between the front three of Lewa, Ousmane and Raphina. - Our attacks were too much dependent on wingplay from Raphina and Dembele. Unfortunately Raph was very off with his take-ons, crosses and shots. Dembele was a bit better wit crosses but also woeful with his take-ons and wasn't able to connect with Lewa. - We could not attack well through the center. Somehow the pairing of Pedri and Gavi underwhelmed significantly here, which was why most of our attacking initiative was surrendered to Raphina and Dembele. - Our attack improved after the introduction of Auba and removal of Raphina. -MATS saved us a point in this match. -Didnt see the value of Kessie's substitution. In other news, Mbappe should just have gone to Real Madrid. Man's killing Messi's vibes at PSG and it seems Neymar is ready to tackle him head-on. |
FIGARO00:Even Wmoney chased Maria at some point. You know, using one stone to kill two birds. |
FIGARO00:Hermes is focused o. In fact his focus is scary. |
While you guys were focused on the Groovy Phyna & Co rectangle drama: I got to know that Hermes shot his shot at Chomzy and she told him no, but Hermes was pained afterwardsthat she allowed Eloswag to sleep on her bed, but chomzy countered that she also told Elo no but Elo wasnt mature enough to accept it like the others. She also told Hermes her judgement about him was right that he only came for her after his initial rejection from Obaseki and she can't be second choice. I got to know that doyin didnt find Chichi grinding her bum on Deji's face cool during yesterday's party cos she believed that Deji with his kind of lofty rep outside shouldn't be having a public sexual display on TV. Got to know that Deji told Dotun that Phyna was the strongest HM in Level 2. He almost spilled some other facts about Khalid that would have given him out as having prior knowledge of what was going on in the houses but he quickly backtracked. If Dotun was smart, he should have decoded that Deji is fake HM. Got to know that ChiChi doesnt rate Bryann as potential bae. Got to know that Ilebaye eventually kissed Dotun as confirmed by Deji. Found out Eloswag is deluded and thinks Rachel and all the girls are crushing on him. Guy seems to live mentally in a different world. Back to Groovy things. Drama otipoorju |
Raphina needs to be more precise with his outputs. Barca taking this. |
Kilishihunter:You know because they've been starved of genuine bragging rights for so long, they'd hold on to anything irrelevant just to create useless agenda. They've always been using Lewa to further their agenda. They all really supported his coming to Barca so that Ronaldo can go and statpad at Bayern. But Kahn did them strong thing. Who could have ever thought that a time would come when CR and his myrmidons would descend to the level of celebrating a 30-man ballon dor nomination? The GOAT celebrates wins and not nominations. Meanwhile, I saw a Barca - Rayo 5-0 highlights youtube notification yesterday evening and my heart skipped many beats thinking how the hell did I miss the match. Only to see that it was a clickbait for a previous season fixture. The relief I felt mehn. Xavi has starved us for too long joor. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Lol, you spoke too soon! |
Jokerman:Messi won a Ballon D'or at 34 years. At 34 years Ronaldo was dragging down his team into Europa league contention. Messi has more ballon dors than your so-called 30-man ballon d'or nominees combined Last year Ballon d'or had lost relevance to you guys, but this year, una dey celebrate a mere nomination in a community list where it's sure that Pendu will not even make top 20. Is this how much the GOAT dey press your necks to the point of absolute confusion?
|
badinfluence:Even if they are considering bringing her back, it would be unfair to other HMs as she would have undue advantage in having seen what's going on in both houses and strategise accordingly. It's a hard sell. |
chiomaP:Lol, In other words he is yet to convince you ![]() |
safarigirl:Thanks. But pictures would have done better justice to your vivid descriptions. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Yielding to those advances doesn't necessarily mean he doesnt genuinely like Beauty. Without cameras, he might have seen Baye as a casual opportunity for sex while he moves back to Beauty after the show. I can't shake off that impression of him as per being a male model. |
