tutudesz: Why can't the south do 4 years 1st and allow you do the other 4 years abi na must for you to do 1st
I am from the south east, I feel sidestepped. He is also old and their are questions around is integrity. However, an eastern will find it extremely haaard to win. We still have a sizeable number of voting populace in the north that are uneducated and just vote based on tribal sentiment. All this problem we have been discussing that Nigeria have dont concern them.
Well, I see the social need to enlighten and point out things. Its love that compels me. I am not a politician. I remembered with bitterness Buharis gragra at inauguration when he said he was relocating to the front line to take on terrorism head on. This move caused sensation all over the world. People were awed and commended it. But now, its obvious it was among many countless empty promises. Buhari 'magad and bobbod' us. We still see great leaders to measure up with even in Africa today. Late chadian president died in the frontline, he was a man of action. The present Ethiopia prime minister made good his vow to go to the war front, and like magic, his country men morale was lifted and results turned to his favour. He is a man of honour obviously. I stand to be corrected...I really want people to point it out if my following observations and assessment of the last decade is wrong: - Young boys now glaringly like never before prefer Yahoo yahoo to schooling. - Nigeria is more than ever divided along tribal fault lines. - the north and north central are going through their most challenging time since independence. - money rituals was the exclusive of older men those days, but young men and boys are the top players now. - we had our second economic recession since independence ever - we have an heavy debt burden that it's just better we dont talk about it for our mental health - prices are sky rocketing - there is palpable fear of travelling as virtually no part of the country isn't feeling the heat of insecurity. - if you have the love of the country at heart, u will feel sad when you go online and observe the constant xenophobic tirades and vituperation and hate speeches and tribalism directed at each other from one tribe to the other. We are losing the sense of solidarity and oness. We are losing our country. This observations if true really are disturbing. Are we going to keep making the same mistakes? Shouldn't we learn and reflect? I kid you not, if we make another mistake at choosing a wrong leader. If we choose another tribalistic and nepotic despot that will not care about appeasing the warring sides the high chance is that the nation will go to war. And war in this age doesn't end. School will stop. Rape will go nuclear. Bad people will be in charge. Boko Haram and religious fanatics will be the government everywhere in the north. We will pay taxes to 'touts.' Everyone will be touched. CIVIL WAR is the WORST thing that can happen to a nation. The last one destroyed the IGBOS and they are yet to completely heal, the next one will destroy the whole nation. We are on the precipice.
jesusjnr2020: If he didn't, I would have been surprised.
In the Bible days, hardly would one see a religious/spiritual leader handing over leadership to a family member. It was only during the era of the kings, that leadership had to do with the king's bloodline, but see how disastrously it ended.
Even king Solomon who was the son of David, a man after God's heart, provoked God to anger at the end, that God divided the kingdom into two, and would have taken it completely from that lineage, but for remembrance of His servant David.
It hardly succeeds because they are not chosen by God, but often forced to become what they're not inclined to be or don't have the attributes required for that.
I have seen several instances where family members, especially the wives and children, of church leaders have been forced to take over their position, even though they didn't have what it requires to do so, but the result reflected that it was the choice of men, not that of God.
If Moses had handed over to his family member instead of God's chosen one, Joshua, Israel would have never reached the promised land.
If Elijah had handed over to his family member instead of God's chosen one, Elisha, the office of the prophet in Israel would have suffered a significant decline.
If Jesus had handed over to His own family members and not those God chose for Him, His disciples, the Gospel of the Kingdom wouldn't have reached us today.
I believe that this example was what worked for the Redeemed Christian Church of God. It was the choice of God appointed to take over from the founder rather than the choice of men and not just family member.
It's not impossible that the family member of a church leader could be chosen by God to take over from him, but that hardly happens.
This is one area the church must needs get it right if it really wants to reach its full potentials, as the church who leaders were chosen by God did, otherwise it would keep chasing shadows, and never be able to do so.
The position of Leadership is the most important in the church. It supersedes any family interest or reputation, hence it's paramount that it's those who are chosen by God that are appointed to lead.
God bless.
My problem with us though is that we see this glaring facts and we still do not want to react appropriately because of sentiments. God has nothing to do with most of these organisations. They are what they are, human organisations. They put their families in this big positions to protect their interests. They show by their actions that they are really the owner of these churches that it's the product of their brain and sweat as against it being Jesus's property. They get clingy with it. See the show of shame that happened recently at the synagogue after the demise of TB Joshua? Humility, decorum and decency was thrown into the air. They just couldn't pretend and hide their real intent again. Should these organisations still then be peopled by people that are sane and wish to serve God? The reality is that the members too are there for selfish reasons. What they can get from 'God ' -miracles, not what they can do for God considering the huge things God has already done. This realities saddens me.

UDOKABESTLUV: The Zamfara State Urban and Regional Planning Board has queried a staff over absenteeism.
The query letter mispelt "quarry" and signed by one Ibrahim Madawaki on behalf of the Director General, has been trending on social media.
Quota system system bleeds the nation. The north is really weighing down the country, yet they justle for the highest complex positions. We are not superior biologically to the north, but we are way more enlightened. The north shy away from this fact and that complicates things. In an ideal society, the north should allow the south dictates most things until they level up intellectually.
emmanuelbrown26: Don't compare iwobi and keita, the two are totally different, Iwobi got d ball and mistakenly stepped on d opponent while Keita being an aboki he was, wanted to kill the opponent. That red card was damn harsh,
Just state ur point and leave tribe Musa is also an Aboki, but u see the way he has carried himself all the years. There is something wrong with u people that just see things through the prism of tribe and race. You lots are sickening. Yuk!
Eguaveon sounds very intelligent. But I expected him to have told is team to hit the ground running from the first half. To become certain after the first half. He has nice crews and team it appears. I think he needed more time
Unclesmart12: I met this girl few weeks ago online and we kinda vibed instantly, a couple of weeks later she came over to my house for weekend and we had sex the first night. I asked her about her relationship status later and she said she was in a relationship, though she doesn't love the guy.
She showed me proof of countless times she's told the guy the truth but he would always persuade her to stay with him with hope that she would warm up to him. So she stayed since he was paying the bills.
I can't tell her to leave the guy because I am not ready to pay any bills for anybody now. Just like most Nigerian girls she gets lots of calls, but one made me upset this night.
She was on call with a guy for almost an hour, from the tone of the conversation the guy might just be a friend, because the gist was centered around school and other random stuff. I felt she disrespected me by staying so long on a call and I made my feelings known when she was done. She got moody and stopped talking to me afterwards.
She finished cooking and dished mine in a separate plate even though we have been eating together since she came. She placed the food on the bed without notifying me and went on to eat hers alone. I tried to adjust and kicked the plate away breaking it in the process.
I packed the food and threw it into the trash can, she immediately went to the kitchen and dropped hers too. Took her bath and went to bed, though I know she's not sleeping.
She's supposed to go tomorrow morning and I intend deleting her contact after she leaves, however I really like her. I've not met someone I liked in a while. I don't wanna beg her since I didn't do anything wrong. Or was my reaction to the call extreme??
Should just free her or attempt talking to her? How do I approach it without coming off as weak?
You appear you are not very mature yourself especially the way you use food to fight...pushed food away because u are angry? God forbid. You appear to have overreacted to the long call. You are just knowing each other. There are things she has been doing before meeting u
So straight to the point. Please I need your advice about two things.
1. I just got my inheritance and I got cash of 8M and there's this popular belief of people squandering their inheritance,I don't want that to be my portion so which business can I invest it into. For context, I currently have a job and I'm not ready to quit so please put that into consideration.
2. My younger brother is still a student so he has asked me to save his portion of 6M in bank until he graduates but I don't think that's a good idea. I would rather he put it in some form of secure investment that will be yielding something. Kindly give us suggestions.
May the soul of my beloved Father continue to rest in peace. Amen
Look into bike dispatch it can't take more than 1.5 million to start and manage like 3bikes. Please dont go into shares. What impress me more is your Dad I want to tell you you Haha a good father for him to leave something for you. Its something very rare these days
seunayantokun: My friend, I think with what you wrote here, we're on the same page. So, I'd just like to say that the football match cited is simply a good example of work and eat - a good example of natural or physical law of cause and effect. Just like saying if you study hard, you'll pass your exams and vice versa. Jesus Himself hints on the law of what you do is what you get when he said:
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace (Luke 14:28-34).
If you study the match, you will see the Nigerian team did a lot of things wrong and had to smart for it. There are matters of life like that.
Also, you can't rule out the element of divine justice because the natural is controlled by the supernatural: when this happens, there is always a physical explanation for it. Only those who know would have the correct picture of where the problem lies while others argue for and against. I must tell you no nation or country can prosper in any area of life under a callous and satanic leadership like we currently have in Nigeria. I don't know how much Russia prospered under Josef Stalin; Germany under Adolf Hitler, etc, If you have any example in our time or history, let me know - would you mind if I added that Nigerians and their leaders in all spheres of life, including religion, through decisions they make are part of Nigerians' woes? For instance, despite the fact that we all know what is going on in this country, there are people sponsored by the devilish oppressors to sing the praises of and defend the man all over the internet. In this case, why shouldn't we expect consequences from both the spiritual and the physical realms? The worst is we want things to fall in line with our assumptions.
Moreover, it doesn't mean countries who are doing well are better humans or otherwise. There are lots we can say in that regard here, in addition to the problem of evil you touched on earlier. Honestly, there is no time for a philosophy of religion discussion now. So, let's end it here but just note that that chief executive terrorist is a big factor of evils in this land and, if you vote people like that again into office in 2023, your suffering continues - no prophet or prophecy will change that except God for whatever reason(s) that may be best known to Him - I think He doesn't always break His own principles. Thanks and God bless.
Thank you too. God bless you. I thank God for your spirit and how you appear to approach a lot of things. I however want you to give this idea of national prosperity, peace of lack of it as something depending on some validation by God. Germany under Hitler was doing real well, that was why he could prepare for war. Russia under stalin can't be said to be doing real well. But you know China is presently abusing a section of its populace to the point one can accuse it of genocide? Our God, the Christian God, the God the bible introduced to us don't support any nation again like he used to support and bless the ancient Israel. He now deals with people and blesses mostly with spiritual blessing those that serve him in 'spirit and in truth.' Daniel, that spoke about Nebuchadnezzars dream, inferred that their are demons behind every nations of the world now. They are all going their ways. Almost if not all nations are set against God now a days. With anti christ and even anti nature policies. I believe if you calm down you can think of some by America, present day Israel and many other countries. All of them deal in wickedness in one way or the other to varying degrees. They shed innocent blood. Material wealth now are not indication of Gods approval. This change happened when the old covenant gave way to the new. There seized a physical Davidic israel of God that was limited to a physical location, to a spiritual Israel of God - Christian's, who were begotten under a new convenant by Jesus's blood and now are in every nations of the earth. I believe we haven't deviated really from the main subject as understanding this fundamental things will help to explain other things that happen in the world today. And I hope you still appreciate my take like I appreciated yours too.
Same ipob nonsense. Is ipob a race or even a tribe, or it's just guilty illiteracy and conscience killing you?
Buhari won twice and if you really are smart to figure it out, it means more Nigerians aka majority love him and gave him their seal of approval, he won without your ipobian votes..
Even for a 3rd term if possible, he'll win again and you go just cry, wail, lament and remain frustrated for another 4 years. . Losers..
God Bless PMB
You don't need to deceive yourself. You and your likes have come to use IPOB as a derogatory term to refer to all of IGBOS. Your countless and trashy comments litters everywhere here as proofs. And its obvious olodo like you don't know igbo is a race the same way has it's a tribe. You haven't heard people calling jew that is a semite race? I am as much a yoruba as I am an igbo. I won't overwhelm your deficit brain by explaining this. But I am very much vested in the integrity and progress of Nigeria has I have people everywhere. And I just gave you an example now that the fact that majority chose a person doesn't make it the right choice. I will for now not honour you with a response again.
NGpatriot: Sadly for you ipobs, this opinion is limited to just you ipobs, the Buhari remains the best president in the history of Nigeria, you and your kind can repeat all that rubbish a billion times, it's still rubbish.
Buhari is a 2 term president, the majority put him in office and did so again the 2nd him just to prove to you and your kind that Nigerians love PMB.
You this racist is here again. You the uneducated illiterate that just compressed everything down to race. You have no better or other way to explain things. I fear for your friends and children that u will raise. If you are expose and well educated, you will know that history is full of examples of people that collectively made bad decisions time and time again. Germany made 2 terrible decisions of going to war against many other nations of the world within just half a century. They obviously didn't learn from their former decisions. Moreover, I know of scores of Buharis supporters that regret their past support of him now. Many people even in his state express regrets too not to talk of IGBOS that you like to term IPOB. I hope you and people close to you don't get to experience first hand the bad situation like kidnapping for ransom and killing that has become endemic to some part of the nation. I hope many times that this app doesn't make people unanimous, because you really need help. U just might bite somebody in the neck one of this days.
seunayantokun: I perfectly know that actions and inactions have consequences and humans should be responsible for events they cause. Also, as a Christian, I have no doubt about the law of sowing and reaping.
However, I also hold that nature alone doesn't hold explanation for occurrences here. That is why Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:10, teaches us to pray to God asking that His 'will be done on earth as it is in heaven'. Centuries before Christ was born, a King in Iraq, called Babylon at the time, had a dream whose interpretation has become the divine timetable the world is running now (Daniel 2). If you're a scholar, why shouldn't you do a study of the authenticity or otherwise of these facts?
Furthermore, apart from the natural law of cause and effect, I am completely certain, by knowledge and experience, that people who have been responsible for evil secretly and openly, are harbingers of evil because there is an aura of divine justice determined against them. Anything and anybody in any form of partnership with them may suffer for it. I'm glad you said you're a Christian, read the story of King Ahab and the nation of Israel under him in 1Kjngs 17, 18, 19, 21, and 22:1-38.
Now, if anybody doesn't want to believe all I've said here, do I have any right to compel them to? No, everyone is entitled to their view, opinion or belief.
But in sum, physically and spiritually, you are responsible for what you do. If you care to know, Nigeria is currently soaked in blood, injustice, deceits, etc; what do you think tomorrow will be if there is no change of character from both the leadership and the 'followership' of the country? We are in throes of deaths and disasters, are they not harvests of our past seedtimes?
I understand Nebuchadnezzars dream, and I agree it's a kind of timetable. I also very much agree that basically an individual or a society reaps what they sow. However, we are in an imperfect world and we are at its very later stage where the symptoms of its sickness as it were have gone so bad. To give you an analogy: good people now literally plant for bad people to reap. A good example are the farmers in the villages ravaged by boko haram and bandits. And aside the law of sowing and reaping there also very well happen random events. This is attested to at ecclesiastes 9, that talks about time and chances happening to people. My point is that though the leader and populace of the country like many other country hasn't been really sowing good stuffs, it will be unbiblical and even unscientific to postulates that either of them carry bad luck, as really, God or many other supernatural powers for that matter can't be so interested in a matter like football or Joshua's boxing match. Ahabs Israel was still a somewhat prosperous one despite his many abominations. Our boys today aside that they didnt get into the game as fast as they should, we can also agree bad random result came there way. Tunisia's had just like 3 shots to our numerous shots. And look at Iwobis card too. Besides, Tunisia can't be said to be a more God fearing society than us. To be certain, Buhari hasn't been an inspirational leader. We can't also compel anybody to see and react appropriately to whatever fact or view. Hower, I said people 'should' really hove serious attentionto their choices, actions and inactions, because to some good extent we still very much reap whatever we sow.
See, everybody shouldn't be to their beliefs. There are just things that are right and things that are wrong. You can't choose to believe Garri is Amala and Garri will become Amala. You have to observe the Garri well, and if you have the right and healthy mind (and enough information importantly too), you should get to always conclude that Garri is Garri. We should know that our choices and beliefs have repercussions. Hence, we should be responsible with them Alot is amiss in the world today. Many believe they have right to choose or believe anything. This rights should always come with responsibilities and consideration for other. ALWAYS
kingxsamz: Christianity, heaven and hell makes no sense. How can someone like Hitler go to heaven after repenting while a child who stole meat from pot will end up in hell? That's the most illogical form of judgement.
Forget what you have been hearing. That idea is not what the bible preaches, hence, that idea doesnt rhyme with christianity in it's TRUE sense. What the bible preaches is that God knows we have a lot of weaknesses and he will give us fair enough grace and chance to gain a good life. Bible preaches grace and mercy. Infact, it states that the righteous and unrighteous will resurrect. Billions of people will be given another chance in a fairer and more healthy world to prove their loyalty to God. Infact, the bible do not preach a fiery hell as a place of eternal punishment for wrong deeds. The term hell has been muddled up-it originally and in most of its occurrence in the original manuscript means the common grave. Hell is that nonexistent state we get into when we die. The bible preaches that hell, which is death will cease to exist at a future time. So it's not a forever something. You can also research this things with an open and sincere mind ofcourse.
seunayantokun: But what you have said here agrees with Reno's view.
Reno is inferring that Buhari has some kind of bad energy like bad luck, I don't believe that as a Christian and as a scientist, however, I suspect Buhari can't motivate. I only remember his negative divisive quotes. No motivational quotes whatsoever! People have personalities, characters and orientations. It's a fact, it affects how people treats you. You can work on it. But the idea of bad luck is that somebody have been supernaturally inflicted with some tendencies to cause bad incidents or situations. This can't be proven...I don't succumb to it.

Well dear , you have your right of choice like others, but how I find it hard to believe how people got to support Buhari for 2tenures. I learnt from his first tenure. I don't agree with Reno this time, however your swear words and vituperation do not speak well about you yourself. Maybe Buhari truly can't inspire and/or our boys were just too cautious in the first half. Family is good bro....all good...I love you. I learnt from the whole thing though. They were too cautious in the first half. They should have taken all the risks and shown all their qualities in the first half. I hope you aren't really happy that your prediction came through though?

Afrogist247: Popular Aphrodisiac seller, Hauwa Saidu, professionally known as Jaruma, has confirmed that she was arrested by the Nigerian Police.
In a video she shared on her verified Instagram page in the early hours of Saturday, the businesswoman spoke from detention, and boasted about being the next Nigerian President.
It was rumoured that the sex therapist was arrested on Friday and a viral picture which was claimed to be taken in a police station circulated around social media.
Confirming her arrest, the Instagram sensation made a two-minute video where she noted that people were making jest of her because of her arrest.
She further revealed that she was arrested because she paid N10 million to someone and the person didn’t do the job she paid for.
Towards the end of the video, Jaruma noted that her experience was only a pattern through which she’d become the next President of Nigeria.
According to her, former President Olusegun Obasanjo was in prison before becoming president.
She also said that the current President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) was also in prison before he became president.
In the video, Jaruma said, “The only thing I have to say about this is that President Obasanjo was in prison. He came out of prison and he became president.
“President Buhari was in prison and he came out of prison and became president.
“For this, you know who your next president of Nigeria is going to be. Your girl, Jaruma. It’s a pattern and that has been the cause. This must happen to you and then you become president in Nigeria.”
She captioned the video, “Jaruma live broadcast from Ningi Village Prison. It’s only two minutes. Please endeavor to watch till the end.
“Obasanjo prison = PRESIDENT. Buhari prison = PRESIDENT. Jaruma prison = FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA INSHAALLAH (sic).
“Dear friends, apologise anytime you are wrong but if you are right, do not be intimidated. Stand and fight for your right.”

A transparent aircraft, partly made of glass.Till date it's the most beautiful and complete aircraft ever produced by man on planet earth, produced solely for that mossion. It's in the museum. U.s are millions of miles away, forget their conference of some of their short comings. Na to make una think they aren't as powerful as before
Your analysis is not very correct. Russia bleeded the German army. Russia was one big factor why Nazi didn't succeed. They provided the bulk of foot soldiers that fought and died at war with Germany. Russia lost more personel and civilians than any country
I smell u. You should have been more courageous and reply with that your account. Become a better person first for yourself and then for a better world.
light099: Cool! Those are men. Real men. Great dance. Black skin is the light of the worldwide races.
Beauty, great culture, intelligence, diversity, human/natural resources and every other good thing are black man stuff.
All races came from Africa. They stole all continents from us leaving us only with Africa. Now they still wanna steal Africa from us.
No place for white skin in Africa. It was great those whiteskin-wannabe Algerian asses were kicked out of the tournament in grand style. It's either you're black or you're out.
No place for wannabes in Africa.
Most people don't know they are racist because their own race is the supposed victim. If many Africans have the upper hand against the whites, they would have possibly been more terrible racist. You are obviously trying to praise the black race but ironically you have shown you are racist too. Do you know how to know? Just imagine the reaction, yours included, if that your comment had been said by a white person? Africa isn't the light of the world. All races are lights lightening the world.
