Cizarr:I have been responding to people extensively on this issue. This your thought, though it seems logical in the world today, but when put under critical light, it is actually short of wisdom and it is what is leading to several conflicts. The world today preaches absolute right to do whatever. But this isn't realistic. We must consider others in our choices and actions. Their is no absolute or unlimited rights, rights are actually relative and subjective. To give an analogy: you may buy a strong sound system in a face me I slap u house. It's your right to blare the sound ad much as u can, but this may cause conflicts with your neighbours. We must consider others. We are a community. Nudist think it's their rights to walk naked, but this might be selfish, as it is that they aren't considering the effects on others. Some people even think it's their right to smoke or do whatever with their bodies, but how about the second hand effects of smoke on others? Have they considered that whatever happens to them affects their friends and family? Ukraine as rights as a sovereign nation, but they should have really put the concern of Russia into consideration. Another example, you have an enemy that is obviously threatening to arm you, then your neighbour knowing your relationship with your enemy started bringing in that enemy into your neighbourhood. Wont you feel disturbed? Your neighbour has the right to associate with whoever's, but has he shown love or respect to you? I hope you perceive the logic in my explanation. Wisdom has almost gone extinct in the world today. It's a selfish world we are in now, a world that teaches dangerous isolationism. Another thing that might help in understanding. Just think of how USA would have reacted if Mecico or Canada was behaving like Ukraine has been behaving? Do you know America actually invaded Cuba in the 80s for moving closer to Russia? |

War isn't good. People *DIE.* This is a warning to those supporting separatism in Nigeria and shouting 'let's fight!' God and justice is by our side. No be God send una to go war oh. Justice only knows the powerful. War isn't fought by emotions, its fought by machines. War no be movie. Nobody helps the downtrodden. After war, your condition becomes worse when u come out the looser, regardless of if you were the victim or not. IGBOS haven't recovered from biafra war. DoggoneDogg:I think Russia action is appropriate and expedient, but u lot should stop miseducating people out of euphoria. Russia is way behind USA when it comes to military potentials. They are the second strongest in the world, however, they still come in distant second. Putin said this clearly about 4days ago in his speech while recognizing the independence of the breakaway regions, he however noted truthfully, that they are better in some very few but vital technology. NATO isn't going to attack Russia not because they can't beat Russia but because of the nuclear deterrent Russia possesses. Its almost the same way, they won't attack North Korea. Nuclear weapons and good delivery systems is a strong enough deterrent for any nation. It will take very extreme situation for a country like USA to dam the consequences and attack a nuclear capable state. |

Many people without adequate knowledge of the history and present condition surrounding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine have been following crowds to post diverse things online just because that's what is sensational now. They have been casting Putin as a Demon and some have even started begging Russia. That's the trend. Most of this people by tomorrow will quickly forget and post about Tonto Dike's new boyfriend. Anything that's just trending. Education that is continuous is important. It differentiates one and makes one less susceptible to following the crowd. Every country in the world, especially the superpowers are selfish. However, the USA and the west hasn't been fair and considerate towards Russia and its place in the world. NATO has almost completely encircled Russia. And now Ukraine, a brother to and an immediate neighbour of Russia wants to join NATO, thus leaving Russia very very vulnerable. Putin as a proactive and very capable Russian leader had to act in the way he can. This is politics. Putin has a lot of excesses, granted, and he tries to use his muscle to get his way, so too those other world powers, USA even more. USA especially has devastated a lot more nations that chose to go a different way in the last century than any other country. Putin will most likely not go beyond annexing lands he feels Russia has given Ukraine since about 500 years when their relationship was good. He can't successfully occupy Ukraine for long or make Ukraine disappear. And this will not lead to any world war III. America, though much more powerful than Russia, can't afford to fight Russia. The world will melt! My heart goes to the many civilians that will loose their lives. This civilians are captives of these powerful and greedy men.
