Every few month these posts will pop up requesting guidance on an interracial relationship.

Regardless of what continent the man was born on he's still a human being with feelings.

My question is, why do you think your man/woman relationship is so different from any other? And if you

feel it's possibly insurmountable, and I believe you do or you wouldn't ask strangers on the internet

for advice, why get involved?

I don't think the women LIKE abusive relationships. I believe it's become the norm to a lot of women

and they're too weak or their self-esteem is far too low for them to walk away. Very sad situation. My

own Aunt was in one of these relationships and she eventually killed the man, in self defense so no jail

time applied.

Can marrying an Atheist be any worse than marrying someone whose beliefs okay him to

strap a bomb to his body and obliterate several city blocks? I think not.

Some years ago in a Georgia prison, an inmate refused to eat prison meal on religious grounds.
He observed that Moslems in the prison were fed a special diet of halal meat and food cleanliness.
He petitioned the prison superintendent in writing asking for his demands for antelope meat to be met. They ignored him and ruled him insane.
Well, he filed a civil lawsuit on discrimination and won. His victory was ruled technical!  This forced the state and the prison to change some rules and blocked certain loopholes that made such lawsuits possible.
We have to wonder at the end if that inmate was not smarter than the government officials

A good point, but two completely different situations. The man you spoke of was requesting a change in his diet. I'm sure had the man
been diabetic his request would have eventually been honored as well. I'm also sure the change in his diet did not alter his prison sentence
in any way. In an attempt to rationalize the irrational, perhaps in Mutallabs warped mind he's making an attempt at a lighter sentence. What
this guy has not figured out is he committed a terrorist act on U.S. soil. There is no way he will EVER walk free. As I've stated previously, why
would the U.S. set him free? So he can make another attempt on U.S. lives? Possibly be successful next time? One thing is for certain, if
he continues to attack U.S. prison guards he may not live to see his trial date.

So please stop trying to make this guy sound like Yoda! Had he been successful in his terrorist attempt they'd still be sweeping up
pieces of him off American streets! Does that really sound like a mental giant to you?!

Since he attempted to end his life along with the lives of almost 300 others, why not ask the judge

to give him the death penalty? Wasn't that his aim to begin with?

Your first question should be will I even be allowed into the U.S?

And the Archbishop had to bring people in from GERMANY (not Nigeria) to care for these poor children.

Its probly time to stop those who have no means of looking after children from having them.

LOL I hope so as well. Don't get me wrong, the woman is cute; like the average girl you see on the bus stop

or that sits beside you at work. But when you're representing a country you select the most attractive.

And I know Nigeria has a nicer selection than this woman. My pick is Ms Angola, but I don't think any of these women are full

blooded Africans.

And I'm sure his title of 'Prince' is what attracted Mercy to him in the first place. I also wondered why Nigeria

would have a Prince, which is normally the son of a King, when Nigeria has a President. Insanity.

I agree most references to Africa by U.S. media are negative. As an African American I take a lot of information

on our news stations personally when it degrades Africa. In spite of the economy in the U.S. credit is generally

used in the U.S. as a convenience, not always a necessity. Credit is only allowed to be used by the

common people when an acceptable credit rating has been established. Those ratings are determined by the consumers ability

to pay their indebtments in a timely manner. No credit is extended if a positive household cash flow and

a positive payment history has not been established prior to any lending. The government will provide basic cell phones to

needy individuals, but that's only due to a loss of employment or a drastic reduction in income. The phones are only good
for less than 1 year.

Your words are a lot more believable than any of the statements from the Prince I've read. My first thought is,

why does he keep making public statements? Is he so desperate for attention? I don't believe so. I think these

statements of his are meant for someone else. You mentioned business partners and perhaps you're right.

Maybe he's trying not to look like such a cad in front of his business partners or he's attempting to protect his

business investments. But in no way does this man give one damn. about what the general public thinks of his

private life. He's trying to send a message to someone, but it's certainly not us!

Some of the 'dresses' (I don't know the proper name for them) take a little getting used to

for a native Westerner, but as long as they're not wearing their pants half way off their azzes it fine.

I know she has a daughter, but it's possible she prefers women.

Please do not tell me to keep praying. I am tired of that already. I cant cry any more. I cant wait anymore.
Now you wonder why females have no other option but to sell themselves to make money right? Have you ever sat down to think about what happens to people who has got so  much potentials but never the chance to showcase it? Business? There is never capital for that. No body wants to invest in your dreams even if its lucrative. Am i just supposed to accept defeat and relapse into nothingness? This is how serial killers are made. So much bitterness, so much anger, so much hate.

@OP I can certainly understand your frustration. I've been in a similar situation myself. However, what you cannot and must not

do is admit defeat. You worked hard, educated yourself and prepared for great things in your life. And those things will come!

My next words may disappoint you or even make you angry, but you MUST continue to pray for what you seek in life. Be very

specific in your prayers. If there is a certain salary you desire or a certain position, include those requests in your prayers. God

will hear and God will answer you. Wishing you all the best that life has to offer!

Prince of what?

I wondered that same thing! But he's titled as "royalty from Isanland in Edo State who goes by the name Prince Odianosen Okojie."

if you're female, this is not a good post cos it shows you're rather gullible. Or naive perhaps.

You implied Nigerian women should seek the average Nigerian male for marriage or companionship. I stated Mercy's man

cannot be considered in the same category as the average Nigerian male. How you choose to label me is of absolutely

no importance to me.

nigerian women have to seriously consider dating non-nigerian men more.

Mercy's man is a Prince. She didn't choose a common Nigerian man.

But I respect her for making the decision to call off the wedding (if the story is true). She's not a young girl anymore

and she's too old to knowingly enter into a bad situation. Not to mention the man already has a wife. 

Perhaps they'll marry after he's divorced and hopefully after he fully understands what it means to be honest in a relationship.

I see these little unhealthy fat azz kids everyday.

They're miniature heart attack victims waiting to happen.

If they were to physically play a game of football they'd

People/kids still prefer handling with their Gamepads and munching Popcorn

And hamburgers and french fries and pizza and fried chicken. At the rate these young couch potatoes are going many

of them won't live to the age of 45. But their parents are to blame. They allow it to happen.

If Muslims are permitted to have multiple wives, some barely in their teens, surely

a lie will be forgiven!

Because today's children are lazy. And it's due to technology. Children today would rather

work their fingers and thumbs over a keyboard or keypad that run, jump and play as children

did years ago. That's also why there are so many obese and physically unfit children nowadays,

at least in the U.S.

I'm not so sure about this remark. What man in his right mind would want 4 women (or more) nagging

him at the same time? He'd have to be a glutton for punishment! Not to mention the cost and upkeep of the wives, plus God knows how many

children!

Why neuter the males? They're not making babies by themselves! I've always thought women should

be especially cautious when it comes to birth control. Women and their families are the ones who

usually bear the brunt of a careless tryst where no birth control method was used.

Indeed! How anyone on the continent of Africa can sit and ingest a meal knowing there are fellow Africans

starving to death is beyond me.

Aren't African men allowed multiple wives anyway? But the woman is young. Young women are overly emotional.

An older woman would consider the amount of money she'd get in a divorce settlement! She should let Mercy have

this guy! There are millions of men in the world. The truth is, if he doesn't want to be with her and the children, there is NOTHING

in the world that will make him want her. Marriages end and life goes on!
