Hope4Naja: People, my cousin got an admission for a 30 weeks program (Personal Care Attendant) at College of North Atlantic. I asked her to check first if the program will qualify for PGWP. From Canadian government website, seems the 30 weeks program is not eligible for PGWP? If it’s not eligible for PGWP, it’s not a wise idea to go for it because after her program, she will have 90 days or so to leave Canada. Even if she gets another admission, if that 90 days has elapsed before her visa is renewed, she’d have to leave and come back. What’s worth doing is worth doing well. She should take her time and get an admission that’s eligible for PGWP. |

I'm trying to register on Form A website but after putting BVN, the thing just keeps loading endlessly. Anyone ever encountered this issue? |

johnstan: Picked my ppt today guys and the feeling is still amazing. Apparently it was processed in Beijing and not Nairobi so anyone could also send webforms/emails to Beijing for feedback regarding their application.
Don't give up y'all, it's worth it at the end. Similar case as me guys. It was processed at RROC, not Nairobi so pls fire mails and webforms everywhere. You never know where it might land. Also bro, have you finally gotten your LOI? |

Ishola2002: I don't know how to do that bro, I am even thinking of getting an agent cos I don't know how to go about that I mean compressing my documents to 2mb It’s quite straightforward. Once you have compiled your documents in Microsoft Word, save the document as word. Then save another copy as pdf. Then go to https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf to compress the file. Make sure after compression, you open the document and ensure what is inside is still readable. If not then you begin removing some documents you consider less important. Or move them to the additional document section since Proof of Funds and Consent Personal Information is where you’d have the most important documents |

Ishola2002: Thomsyne I appreciate u but no be so. There are things I don't need to ask but I was so confused about how to upload my documents in 2mb file and I kept on asking in the group about how to do that but no one seems to reply. U know as humans that we are one is going to think maybe there r some special people that needs attention than u do So I'm ngl, your question isn't straightfoward. Do you mean that you are having issues compressing it to 2mb? Or you are trying to upload the 2mb file and it isn't going? Or you wanna know how to reduce file size to 2mb? |

Winnerpoks: Good morning everyone, My sister got denied the first time due to lump sum and insufficient balance, she re applied by August and made necessary adjustment with evidences and till date she's had no update, she passed the medicals the first time around but in her second application it hasn't been updated to passed, eligibility hasn't even started, no bvl update @makano @frankronbin and all the gurus in the house what do you suggest we do? She also sent series of webform. The wait is affecting her mental health her school resumes on the 9th of January. Good morning and sorry for the delay. Have your sister send mails and webforms to all IRCC addresses she can find and categorically state that her school resumes on the 9th and she has to start making preparations for her travel. However, this is highly dependent on a response from IRCC. In the subject of her email, she should add [URGENT]. The mails are here: https://www.nairaland.com/7255452/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/540#118654979Wish you all the best. You can also contact an MP within the province - best bet is the one within her city. You can find them here http://ourcommons.ca/members/en/search |

KimberleyNl: Thanks boss, that means I will need to add to my proof of fund right? Cos i actually have a year POF with Tuition right now, and looking for my brother to sponsor my 2nd year. Will this still work? Cam i add the baby even when i am not sponsoring myself? Is it logical ? Waiting for your response Sure. But do your due diligence to outline these things with proper explanations. So maybe in addition to all documentation you'll add, do a table or a summary showing Expenses:
(Applicant): Fees + living exp = xyz 1st year tution: abc dollars in xyz bank account belonging to me 1st year living expenses: abc dollars in xyz bank account (preferably, let your brother transfer this to you)
2nd year tution and living exp: Same format as above
Dependent (Daughter/Son): I think its 4k CAD so that will be 8k CAD in xyz bank account. Then do total. This is just a rough summary of how the breakdown can look like |

KimberleyNl: Thanks for your response boss. But to make it clearer, do you mean I should wait till I have the baby, then apply for myself alone when I get visa, I should now apply for visitor's visa for the baby to accompany me? Wait till you have the baby, apply for you and the baby together as a dependent. If you separate the applications, they might treat your baby’s app as a normal visitor visa application and that takes very long. |

KimberleyNl: Good morning all, please I need an advice. I am about to reapply, and I was denied previously on Financial and home tie. I didnt add any of my family to my previous application.
I am expecting a baby soon, I would like to ask if It wont reduce my chance of getting approval if should apply with my baby, or wait till the baby is grown up abit and add to my own tie. Please be aware I have other home tie like properties( owned n inherited) education, society in the church, employment. Please I really need your take on this You might wanna wait till you have the baby actually cos I don’t think you’ll wanna leave your baby behind. More so, you’ll need to apply for a visit visa for the baby to be able to accompany you. |

So I think I'd allow others comment on this. The career progression from a Masters degree to a PGC not even a PGD might be somewhat off. I'm not sure if excluding your Masters degree from your application would help either because they would see your travel history during info sharing and they might see you were on a study visa too.
I'm really not sure about all these so take my statements with a pinch of salt. Let others comment also. |

sunkanmi562: PLS HELP ANSWER MY QUESTION
Guys pls I have a question and I would really appreciate anyone's input........... I studied architecture in Nigeria and i and finished in 2018 then i came to the UK for my MSc in construction project management and finished earlier this year and I would like to do a post graduate certificate at Algonquin college/Fanshawe college or george brown but my question is can I still do it under CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT or it must be different from what I had done before like BUILDING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY(BIM). PLS, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF THE GURU'S OR ANY ONE CAN ANSWER THIS SO I CAN START MY application as soon as possible. Hmmm, from MSc to PGD. Not discouraging you but you might have a lot of explanation to do in your application. But to answer your question, Yes. You can still do " CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT" |
