Nko1: Not anymore - from all indications. It may or may not be unconnected with Osinbajo's visit to Canada. |

Hello people, I'm trying to register on Form A website but after putting BVN, the thing just keeps loading endlessly. Anyone ever encountered this issue? |

Thelz: So I checked and found these in my box CIC-Edmonton@cic.gc.ca and CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca although I got an error message when I sent to that second one. |

Ishola2002: It’s quite straightforward. Once you have compiled your documents in Microsoft Word, save the document as word. Then save another copy as pdf. Then go to https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf to compress the file. Make sure after compression, you open the document and ensure what is inside is still readable. If not then you begin removing some documents you consider less important. Or move them to the additional document section since Proof of Funds and Consent Personal Information is where you’d have the most important documents 5 Likes |

Ishola2002: So I'm ngl, your question isn't straightfoward. Do you mean that you are having issues compressing it to 2mb? Or you are trying to upload the 2mb file and it isn't going? Or you wanna know how to reduce file size to 2mb? 1 Like |

Thelz: Check here for the MP of your city http://ourcommons.ca/members/en/search Send them a mail with the details of your application and your appeal - especially if it has passed normal application time. If they are inclined to assist, they will contact IRCC on your behalf, send you IRCC’s response and hopefully your application gets attended to after |

Winnerpoks: Good morning and sorry for the delay. Have your sister send mails and webforms to all IRCC addresses she can find and categorically state that her school resumes on the 9th and she has to start making preparations for her travel. However, this is highly dependent on a response from IRCC. In the subject of her email, she should add [URGENT]. The mails are here: https://www.nairaland.com/7255452/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/540#118654979 Wish you all the best. You can also contact an MP within the province - best bet is the one within her city. You can find them here http://ourcommons.ca/members/en/search 1 Like |

KimberleyNl: Sure. But do your due diligence to outline these things with proper explanations. So maybe in addition to all documentation you'll add, do a table or a summary showing Expenses: (Applicant): Fees + living exp = xyz 1st year tution: abc dollars in xyz bank account belonging to me 1st year living expenses: abc dollars in xyz bank account (preferably, let your brother transfer this to you) 2nd year tution and living exp: Same format as above Dependent (Daughter/Son): I think its 4k CAD so that will be 8k CAD in xyz bank account. Then do total. This is just a rough summary of how the breakdown can look like 6 Likes |

KimberleyNl: Wait till you have the baby, apply for you and the baby together as a dependent. If you separate the applications, they might treat your baby’s app as a normal visitor visa application and that takes very long. |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Thomsyne(m): 9:07am On Dec 03, 2022 |
KimberleyNl: You might wanna wait till you have the baby actually cos I don’t think you’ll wanna leave your baby behind. More so, you’ll need to apply for a visit visa for the baby to be able to accompany you. |

So I think I'd allow others comment on this. The career progression from a Masters degree to a PGC not even a PGD might be somewhat off. I'm not sure if excluding your Masters degree from your application would help either because they would see your travel history during info sharing and they might see you were on a study visa too. I'm really not sure about all these so take my statements with a pinch of salt. Let others comment also. |

sunkanmi562: Hmmm, from MSc to PGD. Not discouraging you but you might have a lot of explanation to do in your application. But to answer your question, Yes. You can still do "CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT" |

KimberleyNl: Yup, your brothers can definitely sponsor you. Just make sure you get sponsorship letters from them, make sure their financials do not raise any red flags and you also put your own account statement too. Then explain in detail how payments and financing will be made. If possible, have them both do gift deeds to you. Wish you all the best. |
